Ashley had her first day of school yesterday! She was so excited to be big like her sister and go to school. I signed her up with her cousin so my sister could take them both! Here she is with her cousin Sam! Notice the back pack is almost half her size! Luckily Katie is picture happy and took tons of pictures for me!
Singing songs on the way to school. I bet Katie was excited to have two hours to herself in the morning! Yay for school!!!
Her teachers name is Ms. Amber. We have a good friend named Amber and Ashley is convinced she can't love two Amber's. Hopefully she will get over her issues and like her new teacher!

Back to School!!
Well, I wouldn't let Cory take my picture of my first day of school but I just have to say this year is so much better than last year! As far as me being prepared, that is. I know what to expect now. I had a wonderful class last year and I have a good class this year. Cory is excited because I don't have to do much work at home now! Yay!!

Field Trip!!!
We took the fifth graders to Kennecott Copper Mine! I have lived in Utah all my life and have never been out to this mine! It is so amazing! I need to take my family back out to see it. Cory would go nuts!

Firts day of school!
This was me before my first day of teaching today. I was all "perfect" (not really, although Cory asked me if I wanted a picture of my first day of school:) This is how I felt at the end of the day! It wasn't because of the students, they were wonderful! I have an amazing class. Everything went well today. I felt "frazzled" after I got home from making all my plans for tomorrow. I've heard over and over that the first year of teaching is "Hell", but I just remind myself, "It can only get better from here, right?" I'll get the hang of things!
