The ride is planned! Finally. About 65 miles on some rad roads round the Peak District.

Meeting at Mud Crab diner from 2:30.
Tanks full & kickstands up at 3:30.
There are a couple of petrol stops for those with small tanks and we'll stop half way for a leg stretch.
Contingencies if it's raining sideways but fingers crossed it isn't.
Will give out some maps on the day in case you get lost.

Rusty Gold 2013 is getting closer and closer.
On the 5th of May we organise this swapmeet for the second time at the
Cruise-Inn in Amsterdam
We can use some promotion, so if you can please share this online, that
would be great!

For the people that come from far. Next the Cruise-Inn is a nice camp site.
We are still looking for people who wanne swap or sell their rusty
treasures so if you've got vintage parts for sale or you just wanne show
your bike and have a good time come to Amsterdam.

Paname Motocyclettes Modified Motorcycle Event

The collective Paname Motocyclettes is organizing a modified motorcycle event. Bikes, whether European, Japanese or American, will be presented in multiple forms: choppers, bobbers, cafe racers, street-racing, trackers, drag, with focus placed on their modifications and craftsmanship.
We consider the modification of motorcycles a creative process combining imagination, skills, mechanical aptitudes and design fundamentals. This exhibition of mechanical arts is unique in its character for France, about twenty bikes will be on display.
Taking place on Sunday, April 21st, 2013 the schedule will be as follows:
-        Morning: ride in and around Paris with displayed bikes.
-        Noon: group lunch by reservation. (12€)
-        2 to 7 pm: bike exhibition at Casa Nova *, Paris-Aubervilliers.
Entrance: 7€ - Bar / Two wheels parking

The event posters are coming thick and fast now, here is one for May this year. A bunch of fims being shown and a ride about. should be good. Natural Habitats Sam Christmas Photo Exhibition

‘Natural Habitats’ offers a look inside the growing custom motorcycle scene in London and the UK. Ranging from enthusiasts building bikes in their bedrooms, to some of the best professional custom bike builders in the country. This exhibition, photographed by Sam Christmas over the past year and a half, introduces many of the characters that form the scene, alongside their unique motorcycles and in the spaces that they keep.'

Oil Stained Brain

On November 3rd and 4th Melbourne played host to the first ever Oil Stained Brain custom motorcycle exhibition. The exhibition was a showcase of 24 backyard built custom motorcycles, a low brow art exhibition and a series of motorcycle short films and documentaries from around the world. With over 2000 people passing through the doors over the 2 day event and a sell out launch party the exhibition was a resounding success and plans are already in place for 2013.
