Window card with Ppinky Dolls

Hello blog readers,
with my DT package of the company Dutch Doobadoo I recieved a Shape Art template to create this window, I made a so called diorama card with it. Between the front and back panel is a space where you can make your decorations at various depths.

First I put the template on a piece of white card stock and tracked it with a pencil. Then have cut all the lines and the line between the window and shutters is creased.
Then I just folded the shutters down and measured the window. The inside measures  9.5 x  9.5 cm . To create my diorama card I took two pieces of card stock 15 x 19.5 cm. On the short side, I shivered at 1.5 cm, 3 cm and 4.5 cm. I did this with both pieces of card stock, one part forms the back and the other the frontpanel.
The first 1.5 cm is the adhesive strip.
On the front I glued a square design paper 14.5 by 14.5 cm (I took from Studio Light " Lovely Christmas").
Then I cutted a square of 9.5 x 9.5 cm in the middle. there I have glued my window. Then I decorated the window and the shutters with PaperArt flower pots, stars, ice crystals and a bow, I colored parts of it with a red Copicmarker.

On the outside of the shutters and the card I have glued lanterns, ginger bread guys and some stars.

Then it was time to decorate  the rear panel on the inside processed in 3D. Starting with glueing the design paper and  the paper with my colored Ppinky doll dolls.

Some cardboard squares and little birds completed the inside.

I colored a lantern with my Copic R46 which I glued back on Softboard squares. The kraftlabel holds my Christmas wish. I stuck the two pieces together, please consider, that you have the fold strips at the bottom at the front panel and the rear panel to the top.

Here the picture of the Ppinky Dolls I have colored with myCopics.

Welcome Noemi!

Hello dear Copic fans.
I'm Sandra and today I want to propose a particular project.
Instead of the usual card , for my new project I created a photo frame to give a wish to my colleague who has had a baby.
First of all, I colored with Copics two images of Wee stamps that are called Flower Fairies.
These digi stamps are really sweet and they fit perfectly  to the project I had in mind  .
I used the palette of vintage colors that I love sooooo much : is the color of the RV and W family.
I alternated the two stamps in color so that the two fairies are similar and well balanced, but not equal !
Once I have finished coloring, I took the "Art Triptec " from  Dutch Doobadoo. A MDF tri-base frame.
I colored it with an acrylic paint "taupe color" that  fit very well with Copic W that I have used in the coloring.
Using the Versamark ink I stamped directly on the frame some  Inkadinkado flower stamps and I embossed with a sparkling embossing powder antique rose.
I chose a Bazzil , Maja Desing paper and I completed the project creating  the embellishments using a lot of dies : from   Go Kreate , La La Land Crafts, Magnolia, MFT, Marianne Design, and for the name "Noemi" I use an alphabet from  Tim Holtz ,
I assembled the three parts of the frame using a satin ribbon with the words "it's a girl."
All over my roses I applied Distress Rock Candy always from Tim Holtz for a sparkling effect.
I hope you appreciate my project, see you soon!
Hugs
Sandra

Under the Sea

Hello everybody copic lovers!

Franz from Italy here :)

Summer is coming and I couldn't resist to Naunet, the latest super lovely mermaind from Mo!
So I decided to use her for a little tutorial about colouring the bottom of the sea...

Here is my protagonist with some seaweed;
I started colouring them with BG72:

I added some G63 to the bottom:

...B72 again:

BG70 to blend the top of the seaweed:

mmm... too light! I've to blend again with some BG11 and again with BG10:

Now I start colouring the water adding some BG000 from the bottom to the top:

Here I used a little brush and some copic refills (BG02, BG000, 0) to add and blend some blue on the top:

The stippling tecnique around the mermaid using BG02:

 I blended adding BG000:

 ...stippling again using BG11:

 ...and BG10:

Now I used a lovely Dutch Doobadoo mask to add some bubbles around Nounet:

I started blending some colour away and the effect was nice, but I wanted to give a touch of colour so I colored the bubbles with Y000 and RV000:

Here I simply added some more bubbles:

 ...and the work is done!

I hope that my tutorial could be useful for someone :)

Airbrush again...

Hello, dear Copic Fans,
it's me again, Barbara/Kreativmonster, to show you a Copic inspiration.

This time, my card is a combination of airbrush and colouring,
 I like that very much!

Again, I used some of the great masks from Dutch Doobadoo for the background with my Copic airbrush-system, I really love these masks!

You don't need many colours for this, I used V22, V25, RV59, G40 and G43.
Around the image and for colouring the image I used the same colours as for the background.

Here you can see the masks I used:

I hope, I can inspire you to use our Copic Airbrush-system,
it is such a lot of fun!
Big Hugs
