Last weekend we had our family pictures taken. We went to Jensen Nature Park in Syracuse. I’m very happy with them. Thanks to Terra Cooper for taking such awesome pictures!

For Halloween this year we had a spooky skeleton, Iron Man, and a pretty pirate.
Here they are getting ready to trick or treat.
We went trick or treating with Ellie’s good friend Mikelle. They had a blast and got a ton of candy.
Here are the kids dressed up for their school parades.
We made some cute Halloween lanterns this year. The kids loved painting on the mod podge. They turned out cute. We also carved pumpkins with the Cooks. It is one of our favorite Halloween traditions.
Ellie turned 8 on the 24th of October. She had a pretty awesome birthday! We sure do love her.
Here are Ellie and the boys on the morning of her big day. Ellie got a Kindle Fire. She’s pretty good at sharing it too! Look how the boys couldn’t wait to get their hands on it…
Sparkly birthday outfit and Kindle. She was a happy girl.
While Ellie was at school David, made her a cake! He was so sweet. He measured and mixed and had a great time. He was pretty proud of himself.
After school, Grandma Teresa took her to get her nails done. She’s been waiting all her life for these nails. She truly loves them.
Eric and I took the kids to Training Table for Ellie’s birthday dinner. She can’t get enough of those cheese fries. Then we came home and blew out the candles and ate David’s cake.
A few days later we took Ellie and her friends to Get Air Sportsplex for a birthday party. It was a bit overwhelming for the adults involved, but the kids had good sweaty fun!
We went on a field trip to Black Island Farms with the preschool last week. It is always one of our favorites. The boys had such a good time. We went on a hayride, and then played in the courtyard. They loved the tall slides, the corn, and the bounce house. They were wiped out after the field trip was over!
We visited the zoo again a few weeks ago, and I never posted the pictures from our visit. Our season pass will come to an end soon. I definitely think we got our money’s worth.
The kids favorite thing at the zoo is the new Rocky Shores exhibit. They love the playful polar bear and the seals. John loves the bears, but we have never gotten a very good look at them.
The cats were very active on this visit. Is it the cooler weather? I don’t know… We saw the tigers pacing, and the pallas cat.
Here’s how the kids measured up to the orangutans.
We checked out the Bird Show before we left the zoo. It is a family favorite.
