(NEW YORK)(October 1, 2010) Before I explain why Barack Obama is a Muslim let me get the “Muslim issue” out of the way. There is nothing wrong or evil about Islam. There are over a billion peaceful adherents of Islam throughout the world. There are aspects of Islam’s sacred texts that are deeply anti-democratic and its extremist supporters use Islamic pronouncements as a pretext to conceal their own political goals. But if you applied a similar standard to Christianity, and took every word Jesus says in the Bible literally, Christians would look a little fruity too.

But Islam, like Christianity, has its place. In the mosque, not the halls of government. It is precisely when religious leaders try to influence and control politics and enforce their religious dogma as government policy that religion becomes controversial and contemptible. That is the challenge most Muslims face today: to take back their religion from the hustlers and terrorists who have violated the peaceful tenets of their religion. In hindsight, even liberals now reluctantly admit that President George Bush was right on religion. Islam is not our enemy.

And so, no, this column is not an anti-Islam rant and I have no plans to burn any Muslim texts although I believe that constitutionally we should be as free to burn Islamic books as we are to incinerate the Bible or other holy writs.

Six years ago I wrote what in retrospect has become possibly become the most influential piece of opinion journalism in recent history. I collected my ideas and research and explained at a New York news conference why Barack Obama was a Muslim. In the following six years I have been brutally assaulted by the mainstream media. My writing touched a nerve during the 2008 campaign. The New York Times responded by trying to demonize me by putting me on page one and making me one of their “most important stories of the day,” all with a bunch of lies and distortions.

My writing also started a wildfire that has yet to be extinguished by either Barack Obama’s spin doctors and his own lies.

So what is all this “Muslim business” about? It is time to go back to first principles and reacquaint readers with what I have written in the past, what I have researched and what I believe about Obama’s religious beliefs.

During the 2008 presidential campaign I called Barack Obama the “World’s Greatest Entertainer.” I viewed Obama’s campaign trope as nothing more than skillfully presented entertainment. Americans were frustrated and disappointed with George Bush and the Republicans, as they had every right to be; voters were looking for some diversion from the mess the Bush years had created in Washington. Obama was the perfect entertainer. He diverted and channeled our disappointments into his own political pocket.

Obama’s nightclub act was pure painlessness. He told us “we” were the solution. “Hope,” “change” and reform without any cost, without any sacrifice, without any consequences.

People were offended when I called Obama an “entertainer” but his bag of political tricks was nothing more than entertainment. Lots of actors play doctors on TV; I wouldn’t count on them to perform surgery in a real hospital. People were desperate to believe in “Dr. Hope and Change.” They confused “acting” with “leading.”

By elevating “hope” and “change” over reality, they elected Obama, someone who portrayed a doctor, to actually “practice” medicine to cure what ailed America. The result is the disaster we face today.

Obama’s six years of denials that he is a Muslim have only made people believe even more ardently that Obama is a Muslim. That says something about his lost entertainment skills. (I predicted that change of heart would take place as well.) Almost a hundred million Americans now question who Obama is, and what he believes.

Why is Obama an “entertainer?” Entertainers suspend our belief. As noted, they portray doctors, and warriors, persons with caring and concern, people who can save us and serve us. That's why people pay ten or twelve dollars to be amused at the movies, or more for a nightclub act or Broadway play.

But most entertainers, and especially the great ones, are conflicted people. They are alienated individuals. They entertain because they project outwardly the turmoil in their inner spirits. Thus is it so with Obama. His bizarre life spectacle and his upside down upbringing are what make him a great entertainer. His soul is tormented. By his own admission he grew up frustrated, alienated, confused. Ironically, but inescapably, the very factors that make Obama a great entertainer also make him a lousy leader.

This week Obama was at it again, profusely professing his Christianity. But in the midst of peddling his “Christianity” Obama inadvertently dropped in another one of his favorite memes, that his mother was one of the most “spiritual people” he has encountered. Effortlessly, almost guilelessly, Obama segued--the way entertainers do--from religion to “spirituality.”

But spirituality, like religion, is a coat of many colors. Just what spirituality did Anne Dunham possess? What spirituality did she hand down to her son Barack Obama?

In the not too distant past, I had a girl friend who thought she was spiritual. And, unlike Obama, she even attended church. But in addition to her spirituality she had an unfortunate aspect to her personality, which is why she is a former girl friend. In practice there was little spirituality to her shtick. Sometimes she and a bunch of other women would get together to talk about spirituality and light candles, incense and who knows what else. My point: “spiritual” people are not always dealing with the Holy Spirit or religious denominations as we commonly think of them. People often lie to themselves.

Obama’s mother appears to have fallen into the “spiritual but not religious” category. One of my friendly competitors as an author, Jerry Corsi, has examined some aspects of Obama’s mother’s confused and conflicted spirit in more detail than I believe most of us want to read. It is sufficient to say Anne Dunham’s “spirituality” was something out of the wacky, drug-crazed 60’s and 70’s. It was self-referential spirituality, not genuine religious spirituality.

Moving one step further, we often hear the term “spiritual leader” used to describe a religious leader. The two are not the same. And no one has ever confused the “spirituality” of people like Obama’s mother with being the spiritual leader of a religious denomination.

Then there is the White House. The presidency of the United States is a secular, not spiritual, position. When politicians start talking about spirituality, count your change. They are usually trying to use “spirituality” to disguise their secular policy failures.

But having said the White House is not a spiritual see, I want to reverse myself in record time and say that the American president is a spiritual leader. Our president guards and exemplifies “the American Spirit.” The White House is the repository of our value system as Americans. The “American spirit” is what makes us a great people and a great nation. We put our trust in trust leaders who we believe will exemplify the American Spirit and protect our spiritual values as a nation.

Alas, the World's Greatest Entertainer is no guardian of the Americans Spirit. Obama does not even believe in one of the prime tenets of our secular spirituality: American exceptionalism. He has gone so far as to denigrate American exceptionalism. How long would the Pope last if he stood up in Rome and said Catholics were a bunch of phonies? About as long as the Obama Dynasty has lasted in Washington. Not long. That is why people now reject Obama’s “spirituality” and question his Muslim/Christian/whatever religious roots.

So what is a religion? What distinguishes a Christian from a Muslim or a Jew; a Buddhist from a Hindu? All of these belief systems embody both a structure of religious beliefs and believers who practice their beliefs on a daily or weekly basis. There are exceptions, of course. Jews see some congregants only on High Holy Days; some “Christians” magically manage to appear in church for Christmas and Easter. But we accept them. And they profess openly and outwardly their adherence to our beliefs. Jesus is Lord. Yahweh is coming. The Prophet is the true messenger. And so on.

Obama was raised in the Muslim, not Christian, religion. The Jesuits say, “Give us a boy until the age of 7 and we have him for life.” The Muslims had Obama until the age of 10, when he began to live full-time with his grandparents.

Try as he might, Obama cannot disguise or discard his Muslim roots. But despite the facts Obama went so far as to deny his father was a Muslim, even though Obama the father was buried as a Muslim and his father was also a Muslim. A point that is often forgotten is that Obama’s “Kenyan grandfather” was himself a convert to Islam.

Why is conversion such a critical issue? Because converts are often the most attentive individuals in pursuing their newly adopted religious beliefs. Converts don’t inherit a religion from their parents; they consciously choose one as adults. Choice is what distinguishes converts from people who obtain religion (as we say in the Episcopal Church in the “cradle”) through birth. Obama claims he is a convert to Christianity, but in the next breath he tells us paid no attention to the sermons or doctrine of his spiritual leader, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, for the twenty years after his conversion. He even denies that his "spiritual leader" Reverend Jeremiah Wright was his spiritual leader. Huh?

In Obama’s heart he hears the call of the Muezzin, not the Cantor’s call or church choir’s chorus:

Religious beliefs are deeply embedded in children. My father was Anglican (Episcopalian). My mother was Greek Orthodox. I was raised in the Greek Orthodox faith until I went to college. I would never deny that I am Greek Orthodox any more than I would pretend to practice that faith today. I chose the Anglican-Episcopalian side of the family but I recognize both.

Obama’s constant efforts to focus on a vague “choice” he claims to have made in his 20’s to become a Christian are misleading. Throughout his childhood Obama was psychologically and emotionally saturated with Islam and Islamic culture. For him to deny these roots is to deny his very character, his psyches, his “spiritual” home.

But having convinced you why you can believe that Obama is Muslim, I will now proceed to punch holes in my own argument and explain to you why Obama may be a Muslim who is not a Muslim. Unlike Judaism, where religion is transmitted matriarchally by the mother, under Islam religion is transmitted partriarchally through the father.

But I am not sure at all that Obama is Obama’s son. My research expeditions to Hawai’i (see below for the next one beginning November 9th) have convinced me that Anne Dunham concocted the “Barack Obama is your father” fairy tale to conceal the fact that Frank Marshall Davis, an exponentially more appealing and interesting character but, alas, a married man with a family, was really the biological parent of our president.

Indeed, my theory is that it is precisely because those closest to him lied about his parentage that Obama is such a tortured human being. Young Obama knew “Frank,” but he never knew him as “dad.” And Frank died before the lie could be revealed. The secret had been kept during Frank Marshall Davis’ lifetime. And so, while Obama is undeniably a Muslim in spirit, he may not be one by blood. Nevertheless, the religious beliefs of his childhood trump the reality of his genes. He is a Muslim.

Only Obama and maybe one or two others (maybe no one) know the truth. And Obama hasn’t been willing to take the American people into his confidence. He does not trust the American Spirit of tolerance, acceptance and forgiveness, because he was not raised as an American. And for that we have Anne Dunham to thank or condemn.

In the meantime, Obama’s Muslim roots are what make him what he is today: confused, conflicted and contradictory. He can no more escape who he is than we can escape what he is: a failed leader who has disgraced and devalued the American spirit.

Perhaps the most damning libel of that era was that to “Chinese” or to Asians in general, “life is cheap.”

I thought we had grown out of such racist pretensions. No one today would seriously believe or publicly state that “To Chinese [or Asians] life is cheap.” The remarks would be unthinkable. So how could the publisher of the New Republic, Martin Peretz, make the claim that “But frankly, Muslim life is cheap…”

I am in the process of writing some very critical remarks about the Islamic world, about the Ground Zero mosque, and about the aftermath of what happened recently in Gainesville, Florida and the Muslim reaction around the world.

I believe we are entitled to make critical comments about religion, especially when those remarks bear some relationship to political or legal matters encompassed in religious activity. Religious beliefs or actions should no more be immune to criticism and controversy than any other beliefs. On this I clearly disagree with Mohammedans, who seek to ascribe talismanic significance to documents and pieces of paper as “sacred.”

But “Muslim life is cheap?” To make such a remark, or even to contemplate such thoughts, is hideous. Today we are engaged in a growing nostalgia about President George Bush and his actions after 9/11. Bush clearly delineated “Islam is not the enemy.” Bush, of course, did the right thing. [One of my upcoming columns will be titled “Maybe Islam is the enemy” so stay tuned for that one. But I challenge beliefs, not the sanctity of human life in the Muslim world.]

Two moments in my young life changed me forever. I went to Viet-Nam without having thought much about the “life is cheap” ideology of the 1950’s. No one in my home had ever suggested that any life was cheap and I was raised to believe the opposite. At the age of ten I was studying the Holocaust, not baseball’s box scores. In Viet-Nam, life changed for me. The images are seared in my memory.

I was on the flight line at Dong Ha late one afternoon. It was a dreary day, overcast, and I was waiting for a hop to somewhere. There was a Vietnamese widow sitting on the casket of her dead ARVN (Vietnamese) soldier. Her wailing penetrated my soul.

I realized that life was not cheap for the grieving lady. Politics and wars apart, life is never cheap for any human being. I was so deeply touched that I was paralyzed and unable to even take a photo of the scene. But the image has remained with me and in me since that day. The casket, the widow and I flew together, where I do not remember.

My epiphany was repeated a few days later. I jumped out of a helicopter into a rice paddy in the U Minh Forest, into a Viet Cong stronghold where we were welcomed by machine gun fire. Again, such incidents are hard to forget. But what left the deepest impression that day was raiding a VC village where we genuinely surprised the “VC.” The coffee was still warm and I saw how the “VC” were living. There were baby carriages, and personal items strewn about as people fled in the moment.

For many decades I carried a wallet I retrieved that day, to remind me of what came to me in the Forest and what I have remembered every day of my life since then: “The enemy is always human.”

I don’t want to rile up by Jewish friends or readers, but here are some thoughts that may rile. Mr. Peretz is a strong supporter of Israel. I happen to love Israelis and I certainly respect their grieving for the Holocaust.

I went to a Jewish funeral in Boynton Beach, Florida earlier this month for the wonderful mother of a close friend in West Palm Beach. I was early for the funeral and wandered through the cemetery. I was reminded again by the inscriptions in the Jewish cemetery of the horrors that have been inflicted on innocent people based on anti-Semitism.

But I have also seen Israelis and pro-Israel supporters in the United States dehumanize Palestinians. A particularly outrageous lie was Golda Meir’s: she denied that Palestinians even existed. All the easier to kill them and occupy their land. Through the decades Israelis have treated Palestinians as sub-humans. I have always known that eventually the true victims of Israel’s Holocaust against the Palestinians, beginning in 1948 and continuing to this date, would be the Israelis themselves and their supporters. That is why I pray the current peace negotiations will succeed, although I am very skeptical they will.

Mr. Peretz’s attempts to delegitimize the entire Muslim world should cause him, and every supporter of Israel, to ponder the question of why peace never comes while Palestinian lands are expropriated and Palestinian wells are reserved for Israeli use. While he has apologized, and we should accept his apology, his original remarks were an insight into Peretz' soul. Perhaps Peretz’ support for Israelis has led him to dehumanize and demonize not only their Palestinian adversaries but all Muslims in general.

When babies are left to die at Israeli checkpoints, when women are clubbed, when children are bombed with white phosphorous, when prisoners are tortured, every Israeli dies a little death as such practices are tolerated and passed on to the next generation through compulsory military service. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, O Israel, it tolls for thee.

Ultimately, whatever our political beliefs, “our enemies are always human.” Life is never cheap as I learned on the flight line at Dong Ha and with an unexpected revelation in the U Minh Forest. I am delighted Mr. Peretz has apologized, and I hope he will ponder my broader thoughts on the issue.

As for my Muslim friends, they can expect my criticism in the next few days. I love them equally with my Israeli friends. But I will be as unsparing of my criticism for Muslims and Muslim-majority nations as I am with Israelis. I will never believe, however, that “life is cheap” for either side or any side in the Middle East or anywhere else in this life. “The enemy is always human.”

I am a Christian of the twenty-first century, for whom life is never cheap.

But “Muslim life is cheap?” To make such a remark, or even to contemplate such thoughts, is hideous. Today we are engaged in a growing nostalgia about President George Bush and his actions after 9/11. Bush clearly delineated “Islam is not the enemy.” Bush, of course, did the right thing. [One of my upcoming columns will be titled “Maybe Islam is the enemy” so stay tuned for that one. But I challenge beliefs, not the sanctity of human life in the Muslim world.]

Two moments in my young life changed me forever. I went to Viet-Nam without having thought much about the “life is cheap” ideology of the 1950’s. No one in my home had ever suggested that any life was cheap and I was raised to believe the opposite. At the age of ten I was studying the Holocaust, not baseball’s box scores. In Viet-Nam, life changed for me. The images are seared in my memory.

I was on the flight line at Dong Ha late one afternoon. It was a dreary day, overcast, and I was waiting for a hop to somewhere. There was a Vietnamese widow sitting on the casket of her dead ARVN (Vietnamese) soldier. Her wailing penetrated my soul.

I realized that life was not cheap for the grieving lady. Politics and wars apart, life is never cheap for any human being. I was so deeply touched that I was paralyzed and unable to even take a photo of the scene. But the image has remained with me and in me since that day. The casket, the widow and I flew together, where I do not remember.

My epiphany was repeated a few days later. I jumped out of a helicopter into a rice paddy in the U Minh Forest, into a Viet Cong stronghold where we were welcomed by machine gun fire. Again, such incidents are hard to forget. But what left the deepest impression that day was raiding a VC village where we genuinely surprised the “VC.” The coffee was still warm and I saw how the “VC” were living. There were baby carriages, and personal items strewn about as people fled in the moment.

For many decades I carried a wallet I retrieved that day, to remind me of what came to me in the Forest and what I have remembered every day of my life since then: “The enemy is always human.”

I don’t want to rile up by Jewish friends or readers, but here are some thoughts that may rile. Mr. Peretz is a strong supporter of Israel. I happen to love Israelis and I certainly respect their grieving for the Holocaust.

I went to a Jewish funeral in Boynton Beach, Florida earlier this month for the wonderful mother of a close friend in West Palm Beach. I was early for the funeral and wandered through the cemetery. I was reminded again by the inscriptions in the Jewish cemetery of the horrors that have been inflicted on innocent people based on anti-Semitism.

But I have also seen Israelis and pro-Israel supporters in the United States dehumanize Palestinians. A particularly outrageous lie was Golda Meir’s: she denied that Palestinians even existed. All the easier to kill them and occupy their land. Through the decades Israelis have treated Palestinians as sub-humans. I have always known that eventually the true victims of Israel’s Holocaust against the Palestinians, beginning in 1948 and continuing to this date, would be the Israelis themselves and their supporters. That is why I pray the current peace negotiations will succeed, although I am very skeptical they will.

Mr. Peretz’s attempts to delegitimize the entire Muslim world should cause him, and every supporter of Israel, to ponder the question of why peace never comes while Palestinian lands are expropriated and Palestinian wells are reserved for Israeli use. While he has apologized, and we should accept his apology, his original remarks were an insight into Peretz' soul. Perhaps Peretz’ support for Israelis has led him to dehumanize and demonize not only their Palestinian adversaries but all Muslims in general.

When babies are left to die at Israeli checkpoints, when women are clubbed, when children are bombed with white phosphorous, when prisoners are tortured, every Israeli dies a little death as such practices are tolerated and passed on to the next generation through compulsory military service. Ask not for whom the bell tolls, O Israel, it tolls for thee.

Ultimately, whatever our political beliefs, “our enemies are always human.” Life is never cheap as I learned on the flight line at Dong Ha and with an unexpected revelation in the U Minh Forest. I am delighted Mr. Peretz has apologized, and I hope he will ponder my broader thoughts on the issue.

As for my Muslim friends, they can expect my criticism in the next few days. I love them equally with my Israeli friends. But I will be as unsparing of my criticism for Muslims and Muslim-majority nations as I am with Israelis. I will never believe, however, that “life is cheap” for either side or any side in the Middle East or anywhere else in this life. “The enemy is always human.”

I am a Christian of the twenty-first century, for whom life is never cheap.

“Six years ago in August 2004 I wrote the first article on Barack Obama’s religion, and said he was a Muslim,” Martin notes. “I am more convinced than ever that I was correct in my initial assessment. Over three years ago I raised questions about Barack Obama’s citizenship and eligibility to be president. (It's all in my book.) Frankly, the American people were not interested in ‘the facts’ and they preferred to buy a pig in a poke, Barack Obama. So it is kind of funny to see Barack Obama now telling Brian Williams in New Orleans ‘the facts are the facts,’ when Obama has worked so hard to conceal the facts during the presidential campaign.

“Last year I wrote that the window for Obama to ‘come clean’ on his citizenship and religion was closing. He would eventually cross an 'equinox' where he had more public hostility than support, and then the attacks on his religion and citizenship would be intensified by the media. We are right on schedule. I essentially predicted what happened Sunday night: Obama created a photo op in New Orleans and in the middle of an interview with NBC News Brian Williams dropped the ‘Muslim/Birth Certificate’ bomb.

“Mr. Obama tried to make a joke of Williams’ concerns about Obama’s religion and citizenship, but these questions are not a joke and they are not funny. And they are not going away. Every day they are growing on the Internet.

“I applaud Brian Williams for having the guts to raise the concerns. I am always squabbling with NBC News, and I will have an attack on them later in the week on an unrelated topic, but Monday I want to praise Mr. Williams and NBC News for opening Obama’s can of worms.

“Mr. Williams is a serious man who takes his journalism seriously. You don’t have to always agree with him to respect his integrity. I would have phrased his opening question to Obama slightly differently; but the fact that Williams directed any question to Obama over his citizenship and religion is devastating to the president.

“Over the Labor Day holiday we will be building out our new web site ‘BirtherNation.us,’ which is devoted to exposing Barack Obama’s lies about his birth, citizenship and education. Later this week we will be holding a Palm Beach news conference to announce an upcoming major new investigation and litigation in Hawai’i concerning Obama’s records. The second edition of my book (see below) is selling out and we are going to consider a new printing in the future.

“I go into these details to underscore that reasonable, responsible inquiry into Obama’s religion and family origins is a legitimate area of scholarly inquiry and that we are proceeding solely on the basis of scholarly standards.

“What Brian Williams should have asked, and he came close, was ‘How can you expect to govern when a fifth of the American people don’t even trust your answers on religion and birth?

“Obama’s responses appeared genuine, because he was probably surprised by Williams’ bluntness. Obama has a contemptuous attitude towards his critics. Obama said there was a ‘network of misinformation.’ In point of fact there is no network of misinformation. I have been the source of accurate information about Obama’s religion and citizenship for six years. He has never challenged or undermined any factual claim that I made. Instead he has used his attack dogs to launch personal attacks on me.

“Obama has maintained a relentless misinformation campaign against me, originally using Robert Gibbs and the New York Times to smear me with decades-old stale accusations and to intimidate the media. Well, the media are becoming increasingly ‘unintimidated’ as Mr. Williams’ inquiries reflect.

“That is not to say that all sources of criticism about Obama are accurate. The public record reflects, however, that I have repeatedly exposed and attacked anti-Obama charlatans who proffered false claims against the man. All I want is the facts and the truth. Nothing more. Indeed, some of Mr. Obama’s opponents have criticized me for exposing anti-Obama charlatans and exposing their misuse of the truth. But that’s why Obama is terrified of me, and loves the whackos who propound silly theories. I have a passion for the truth.

“FACT: There is no location in Hawai’i that openly advertises itself as Obama’s ‘birthplace.’ His family has claimed two different hospitals where he was born. Don’t you think if had been born somewhere, they would put a plaque on the door and say ‘Birthplace of the 44th President?’ Why are they hiding this obvious fact?

“FACT: I personally believe Obama was born in Hawai’i. But I have also noticed how Barack and Michelle Obama love to stoke the ‘Kenyan birth certificate’ crowd with catnip, so the Obamas can agitate their opposition and energize their own left-wing base. In my expert opinion, what Barack Obama is hiding is not where he was born, but how he was born.

“FACT: Obama says he does not want his birth certificate ‘plastered on my forehead.’ But his original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate has never been plastered anywhere. He has never released it to the American people. He released a laser printout from a state database. The original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate has never seen the light of day although Hawai’i official Chiyome Fukino claims to have seen that document. Obama doesn’t have to plaster his birth certificate on his head; but unless and until he authorizes Hawai’i officials to release the original, typewritten 1961 document he is hiding the truth from the American people.

“FACT: The qualifications to serve as president are different than those for any other federal office. Being an American citizen is not enough. Obama’s putative father was apparently never even a permanent resident of the United States. He came here on a student visa, fornicated, and left. I don’t think Obama’s putative father ever had a Green Card. While Obama may have acquired ‘birth citizenship,’ I do not believe he ever acquired the enhanced ‘natural born citizenship’ that the Constitution mandates only for the presidency.

“Obama is not stupid. He is a bright man. He’s no courtroom lawyer but he is trained in the law. That’s why he loves to play lawyer-style word games with the media and the American people. Obama knows his day of judgment is approaching, as we will detail in our forthcoming Palm Beach news conference. That’s why he increasingly acts like a one-term president.

“To mix another metaphor, Brian William and NBC News burst the dam. They put the issue of Obama’s ability to lead, in light of increasing doubts about his religion and eligibility to sit in the Oval office, on the front burner. We’ll have more analysis and commentary as week wears on. But today, Monday, we stop to salute Brian Williams and NBC for asking the tough questions,” Martin states. “Obama can joke about the ‘Muslim/birth’ questions, but these issues are on the minds of a growing segment of the American public. Why won’t Obama release the public records in Hawai’i, and other files at Occidental, Columbia and Harvard, that would confirm the truth?

Once again the New York Times is printing a pack of lies and seeking to distort the reality of Obama’s Muslim religious roots. The Times is a mouthpiece for Obama propaganda. It was in 2008, and it still is.

The Times falsely claims Obama has released his “birth certificate.” He never did that. He posted a facsimile document which was nothing more than a laser print-out from a Hawai’i database. Obama has refused to release access to the original, 1961 typewritten birth certificate which Hawai’i officials claim to have on file. Martin is pursuing his Hawai’i court lawsuit to open Obama’s original 1961 document but he is being slowed by a lack of funds.

New York Times propagandist Sheryl Stolberg says it is “incorrect” to state Obama is a Muslim. That is not incorrect at all. Obama is much more than just a “Muslim.” He is obsessed with Islam and with Islamicizing America. That is why Obama is promoting the 9/11 “mosque” near Ground Zero in Lower Manhattan.

The New York Times’ Stolberg calls Andy’s efforts an “aggressive misinformation campaign.” Martin responds: “We just tell the truth about Obama, to counteract the mainstream media’s lies. None of our factual allegations has ever been proven to be incorrect or ‘misinformation.’ It is the mainstream media that are disseminating Obama’s misinformation.”

Today Andy Martin launches the 2012 phase of his national campaign to force presidential pretender Barack Obama out of the White House: he will announce a new website, www.BirtherNation.us that will focus on Obama’s secret birth certificate and religious lies.

“Six years ago we launched an international research effort to find the facts and tell the truth about Barack Obama,” Martin says. “The American people did not want to listen. They loved Obama’s lies. Today America is on the brink of bankruptcy. Obama regularly grovels to Muslim extremists. Our national security is endangered as Obama tries to disarm America and permit a sneak attack by our enemies. “Over the past month the mainstream media have been astounded that my efforts continue to bear fruit. Doubts about Obama’s birth are steadily increasing. Questions about his true religion likewise are increasing. We aim to keep the increases going right through Election Day in 2012. We remain committed to finding the facts and telling the truth about Mr. Obama, nothing more and nothing less.

“For example, Obama never lived at the address listed in the Honolulu newspapers in 1961; that’s for sure. Where did he go from the hospital? Was he born in a hospital? The truth remains hidden. Obama has refused to provide access to his family and birth records. [Note: There is no ‘President Obama was born here’ plaque at Kapi’olani Medical Center in Honolulu.]

“Likewise Obama has never disclosed how he paid his expenses at three expensive, private universities: Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law School. The only public evidence of his college finances is a claim that Islamic extremists footed part of the bill for law school. Why won’t Obama tell the truth and open his records to media examination? Is he hiding the fact he registered at universities as a Muslim student? It appears so. Did he seek ‘affirmative action?’ It appears so. If he has ‘nothing to hide,’ why is he hiding the facts about his personal life?

“The mainstream media have ridiculed me. The Romans mocked Jesus as the ‘King of the Jews.’ I have been mocked as the ‘King of the Birthers.’ The media even created a neologism, ‘birther,’ to describe honest doubts about the whereabouts of Obama’s birthplace and religious roots. We turned the tables on the media and took their aspersion as the name of our movement, ‘Birther Nation.’

“We are indeed limited in our efforts by a lack of funds. Money is hard to come by. We are currently trying to finance our next round of litigation in Hawai’i. Contrary to Sheryl Stolberg’s ‘misinformation,’ Obama has never permitted access to his original, typewritten birth certificate. What is he hiding, and why? We are making efforts to field our next research expedition in Hawai’i.

"I kept an open mind for a very long time. But earlier this year I came to the conclusion Obama was not eligible to serve as president. The term ‘natural born’ citizen obviously has to mean more than a mere ‘citizen’ or the modifying phrase would not have been added to our Constitution. Obama’s father was a transient in the United States. Obama is the ultimate ‘anchor baby in the White House.’ He bluffed and defrauded his way into the presidency. "Barack Obama owes me an apology"

Five years ago ContrarianCommentary.com's Andy Martin wrote the first of his trailblazing columns about Barack Obama's Muslim family roots. (NEW YORK)(June 3, 2009) Almost five years ago I wrote the first stories focusing attention on Barack Obama's family roots. I pointed out that Obama's father and grandfather were Muslims. Under traditional Islamic law, Obama himself was therefore considered a Muslim.

Islam is the polar opposite of Judaism. Under Judaism, religion descends through the mother. Under Islam, the father transmits religion.

Obama called my stories about his religious "heritage" smears, and said, "Who, my father? Didn’t know him. He was an agnostic."

But as ABC news points out, Obama has now become "President Muslim," bragging about his Muslim dad:

Did Barry Obama suddenly discover who his father was? Or who he is? Hardly.

The obvious truth: Obama will smear anyone in his relentless drive for personal aggrandizement.

My original 2004 article said Obama was concealing his Muslim heritage to confuse Jewish voters. I wrote: "It may well be that his concealment is meant to endanger Israel,…" Obama's response? He had his jerk Robert Quinn go on national TV to call me an "anti-Semite." On the contrary, I was probably one of the more accurate Jewish prophets since Isiah. Well, who was right? Me, in 2004? Or Obama, who called my accurtate analysis about him a "smear." Just ask the Israelis today.

Obama is still hiding his original, typewritten 1961 birth certificate. Does that document list his religion as "Muslim?" Is that why he's hiding it? [I have a lawsuit pending in the Hawai'i courts to release this document.]

The American people had a disastrous eight years under George Bush because they voted for a "nice guy." Bush was a nice guy.

When I chose the title for my book on Obama, "Obama: the Man Behind The Mask," I chose well.

Who is the man behind Barry Obama's presidential and personal mask? We still don’t know. All we know is that Barack Obama has contempt for the truth, and contempt for the American people. He always has, he always will. He thinks we're chumps for buying his bogus biography.

Obama bragged during the campaign that he was a "Christian." Funny, there's a church across from the White House, but Obama is too busy to attend. (He did attend St. John's Episcopal on Easter Sunday.) He is too busy playing basketball on Sundays. Obama's "Christianity" was just another one of the lies he used to sell himself to the American people. Obama's only religion is Obama himself. He worships himself.

Americans, who have now voted badly in three successive presidential elections, could see America diminished and even destroyed, at the end of eight years of Obama's lies, distortions and endless shenanigans. A leader who lies about himself to gain power, will lie about himself to retain power. How stupid can Americans be?

Well, truth be told (again), Americans are paying the price for their endless stupidity. Bush ruined the economy. Obama is finishing off what remains. We will be left with a hollow shell of a nation when we finally remove the Obamas from the White House.

In the meantime, as Obama flies to Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, no doubt to apologize about America, again, and brag about his Muslim family roots that I first wrote about five years ago, he might start by offering me an apology for all the lies Obama's thugs have said about me to cover up the truth about his past.

[Note: Upon further research in Hawai'i in 2008-2009, I believe there is strong circumstantial evidence that Obama's biological father was really former Chicagoan Frank Marshall Davis, not Barack Obama the Kenyan Muslim. Obama is probably perpetuating and profiting from yet another round of lies about his religion. He can't stop telling lies, and he refuses to start telling the truth.
