First day of school 2013
Jessica is now at the Middle School as an 8th grader.
Christian is in 5th grade and Mrs. Browning is his teacher. Last year of elementary school! YAY!!!
Michael is in his final year of high school. How I and all of us are gonna miss him. You don't know how much time was wasted away through the years until you get to this point where it is the last year they are at home and the time is limited. Jessica
Yes, Jessica is just as busy as the boys are. All of her updates are usually on her blog www.toquerprincess.blogspot.com She did make the first cuts for volleyball. There is another set of tryouts/cuts on Monday so hopefully we will have volleyball game pics soon!
2nd week of Football
HHS @ Stansbury 8/30/13
This was a very frustrating game. It seems that nothing is working for these kids. What it looks like from a parent/fan standpoint is that this is a "building year" to the coaches. They really aren't giving the seniors a chance to play. They are very talented guys. Their JV season last year attests to that! But we will keep supporting our son and his AMAZING friends. This is his senior year after all and football should be fun and create good memories not frustrating ones. This Saturday we play Legacy HS in Las Vegas.
Hurricane 5/6 Black VS Red Rock 5/6
We still really do not know where the Red Rock teams are from. We are thinking maybe Desert Hills or PineView since neither of those high schools have a team. Again, Christian had so much fun! They won 24-18 and it was such a good game. Christian really loves playing for Coach Mitchell and I am loving it too!
Michael's gift
For Michael's 18th B-day my parents gave him an AR rifle. It is a .223. He absolutely loves it of course. His cluster was amazing. I thought I had a pic of it but it must have been on my phone. I will upload it another time. Chrish has a .22 he really loves. 
First games of the season
HHS vs Skyline 8/23/13
It was so fun to see when every player knelt down and it was Michael in the center saying the "prayer" for the team. He also had the opportunity to be a captain for the game. The game definitely didn't turn out the way we had hoped but we still think these boys can pull off a GREAT season! This is the link to the game on YouTube.
Christian has an incredible coach this year. Coach Mitchell started with the basics for all his players no matter if they had played football before. He encourages them and makes them treat each other with respect. These boys are very kind to each other and are a real TEAM. I am so glad Christian has the opportunity to be on this team this year. We are so very glad we could switch leagues to the Red Rock youth football instead of USA. It has made a world of difference for Christian. He actually feels like he is making a contribution to the team instead of just being the meat squad punching bag that he endured for two years on the USA team. THANK YOU Coach Mitchell!
