Yohichi Nishikawa: Solo Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus on March 9th~!!



Yohichi Nishikawa is having a solo exhibition at Gallery Nucleus on March 9th with opening reception from 6PM~9PM~!!

Before the exhibition, Yohichi will be doing a 5 hr painting demo from 1PM~6PM. TIckets are still available for the workshop ($120 per person, event organized by Gallery Nucleus) and is a great way to see Yohichi paint in person :)

Silent Art Auction & Gallery Nucleus this Sat. (3/18) ~!!

A group of artists/teachers from 3Kicks Studio and Concept Design Academy will be donating original artworks for a fundraising auction event happening this Sat., March 18th (6PM~9PM) at Gallery Nucleus.

Richard Bunkall Website and Artbook

Yesterday was the last day of the Richard Bunkall art show at Pasadena Museum of California Art.

In case you have missed the show, you can still see many of Richard's paintings on his website:

On the site, they sale an art book containing paintings, sketches and etchings from his 25 years of career. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Richard Bunkall Research Fund at Project A.L.S.

Richard Bunkall is one of the key painting instructors at Art Center College of Design in the 80s' ~ 90's and have left a strong influence on everyone who have been lucky enough to study with him. America's Grandeur: Landscapes of Clyde Aspevig

Great news for those of you who love landscape painting. Santa Barbara Historical Museum will host an exhibition of new paintings by Clyde Aspevig this Saturday~!!

The exhibition will open on October 22nd and conclude on January 31st, 2011. There will be an opening reception on October 22nd at 6:00 PM - the cost for admission is $75.00 per ticket.

Clyde will do an art demonstration on October 23rd at 2:00 PM at the museum. The cost of each demonstration ticket is $50.00. Those interested in attending will need to contact the museum for tickets as soon as possible as attendance is limited.

From forty-five talented and prolific DreamWorks Studio art directors, production and character designers, and visual development artists, Moonshine features personal artwork that is made during the precious little times of day when the contributors are not working on stunning upcoming movies such as Puss in Boots, Shrek Forever After, The Croods, Kung Fu Panda 2, MegaMind, The Guardians of Childhood, Scared Shrekless, and Kung Fu Panda Holiday.
