Happy Birthday

I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year.  I had an early night by having Dinner and seeing a movie with my sister.  The weather here was beautiful.  It was in the 40's all weekend which is melting all the snow we got last week.   I decided to organize my DP (gulp) this weekend.  I kept tripping over it where I had it and I always reach for my 6 x 6 paper so I cut up alot of it into 6 x 6 sheets and put in with my other packs.  Now, of course, I need a new container of which Michaels is out of so a bunch is sitting in a pile when I get a new container.  I hope this works and I use alot of my older paper that I forgot I had.  This card is a perfect example.  This DP is some old SU that I had and love but never reach for because I have to dig for it my my 12 x 12.  I think it fits this card perfectly with the colors.

Today is a new theme and a great sponsor for the Going Grey with Scrap-Creations challenge.  The theme is a wonderful Sketch seen below and the sponsor is StampFairy.  They have the cutest stamps.  I loved this bear.   To see more of their wonderful stamps you need to see what the other great creations from the other DT's.  You can find them on my sidebar.

Merry Christmas

Good Morning.  How is everyone doing? When does it really hit you that XMAS is coming soon?  I know the holiday season is approaching because I went to my first craft fair this weekend.  Two of my sisters, my niece and I go into Boston every year to go to this.  There are so many talented people out there and this is a big fair with everything from Jewelry, XMAS decorations and Food to buy.  I actually got 2 XMAS presents bought!!!  I am so glad I have started.  We have many more fairs to go to and we always enjoy the day.  It really says to me that XMAS is approaching.

Today is Tuesday which means the Going Grey with Scrap-Creations challenge.  The theme this week is Christmas

We have a wonderful sponsor this week.  Stamp Fairy!  They are a new company that makes the most adorable stamps.  They were kind enough to let us DT's play with some.  I thought this snowman was so cute. Check out the great cards the other DT's made.  You can find the links on my sidebar.

We all have Christmas cards to make so pull out your images and join the fun!  You could win!!

Paperplay - Circles - I have circles with the snowballs and the snowman.

Paper Romance - Everything but the kitchen sink - This is a neat theme.  It means to do alot of something.  I have alot of layers and alot of pearls (my pearl pen)

Flourishes - Glitter - I love glitter.  I actually love anything that sparkles on a card.  This card screamed to be glittered so I did.
