Winter Hats and Artwork!

Two posts in one day means one thing. I'm feeling lousy and lounging with the boys at home. Here are some pictures from today.

The boys have new winter hats. Owen saw Colin wearing his and decided he would put up with wearing one too. Victory! Maybe the more ridiculous the hats, the better the chances that they will put up with them?

Owen now says "cheese!" or "eesssssss" for pictures. If you look closely you can see teeth #14, #15 and #16 all currently breaking through. And for the record he's not happy about that fact.

Colin saying "cheese!"

And some pictures of the beautiful artwork that Colin has been bringing home:

A finger painted Letter "F", notable because he did not use blue paint. Of course it was during "yellow" week, so I think the blue paint was off limits. But still a non-blue painting is rare in our house.

I call this "Bear Emerging through White Rocks". I believe it's Colin's interpretation of how life always finds a way through a long winter (or maybe it was cotton ball day during art time). Regardless, it's a masterpiece.

The letter "H"! This is a great week because he gets to talk about hippos and horses ("my favorite barn animal!!!")

And his Thanksgiving picture. Note the blue cornucopia and what he is thankful for. I think his heart said "I'm Thankful for my Family", but his mouth said "I'm thankful for my Toys".
