Where is my country heading to?

India-Known for everything rich and beautiful. People in this country possess exotic lifestyle. The culture has been very deeply rooted in this Country of Gods. India has just stepped into the Global race for the best in the world. Developments are widespread starting from agriculture and space science. We are witnessing tremendous growth in all the industries and our India is now capable of providing world class products and services. Some of the best medical minds in the world are possessed by this 7th largest country on big green earth.

Our economy is considered to occupy 12th position against the other world nations, which is something we don't deserve at all. We deserve something bigger. Something higher. We need to be at the apex. Its India. Its the best. There is something that pulls India down in front of the world nations. Its that we don't come out with some of the blatant facts about our India and we term those who pinpoint the negatives anti-Indians and project them as elements which are hindering the national growth. We always forget the truth and the truth is that 'Pampering is of no use'.

Boasting about our age old achievements won't earn anything for the nation. What matters at this hour is what we are now and not what we were in those centuries lying dead in the history. Enough of history classes. Come back to the present. We might be the second fastest growing economy in the world. Nonetheless, we are named a low income economy. My question is, where did we miss the first place which we deserve for all the efforts we have taken to improve the standard of living from the scratch? After all, its not wrong to expect to see our country at the top. At present, we find more black spots in the country which make all these developments tiny and invisible.

The problem with us is that we are quite ready to spend time on entertainment and gossips than on social issues, except for few. We were as good as silent ducks when 600 billion Indian rupees, which was supposed to be payed back by 40 million Indian farmers, was completely put down. Were we so insensitive that we never realized each of us had our contribution in that massive farmers' loan? I'm neither against the support that the Indian Government render the farmers nor the ruling party of India. Lets not politicize it as usual. Please. It should have been a considerable and more reasonable concession and not a 100% discount like it has been done. This is a developing nation and most of the families have the status of middle class and lower middle class and 600 billion bucks make a huge difference in the path of economic progress. At least a part of the debt should have been brought back to the treasury.

According to the statistics of the World Bank, India's Gross Domestic Product or more comfortably GDP, is 8.4% and this year, World Bank has lent $900 billion to India for the country's development purposes. The figures make everyone wonder how the country's developments and the debt repayment are going to be balanced. At such a crucial hour, can a 600 billion bill be thrown away?

Again, I would make my stands firm. I'm not against the decision to provide concessions to the farmers. Please note that its 'CONCESSION'. Its just that nobody can accept a complete drop of such a huge amount that has the power to change the face of India. All that the country needs is uniform development. A massive concession to the field of agriculture makes the other industries feel that they're being neglected and that the Government of India is showing them a step-motherly treatment, though we're all Indians. This sets in a psychological division in the economy which in turn would affect the entire growth of the country. This is not supposed to happen.

We have been calling agriculture the backbone of Indian economy. I agree. It was true. But, now we can't stick on to the same theory. Agriculture contributes 4.7% to the annual income of the nation. Petrochemical industry, cement industry, steel industry and computer technology brings home more than 85% of income. These facts are not meant to bring down the support available for agricultural industry but, these are to alarm that we need to concentrate more on the real income-earners.

Politicians play with our money, which finds its way to the treasury in the form of tax and other bills. I just have one question to our Honorable Finance minister : "Would you have given away 600 billion bucks if that belonged to you Mr.FM?"

Now, for most of those who read this blog, I may appear like an anti-Indian. Being a responsible Indian, who wish to see India carrying the title of 'Developed Nation' very soon, I could not tolerate the diversion we have just been taken through.

An Indian lauds the achievements of India and praises it for all the developments which were once staged in the country. That is exactly what I mean by pampering. A true Indian remembers these developments and sees to that nothing goes wrong that might otherwise hamper the nation's growth and comes out with the real and happening facts which appear to take the country towards a drop.

Let us stop talking about the developments that have already taken place and start thinking about what we could make out of what we have in our hands now.

Stop talking the past. Work for the future. Let us stop rising our spirits for petty issues like price hike and voice up for more serious issues that come into the frame whenever the Government proceeds with a wrong step like the 600 billion blunder. That is the only way we can take to build a grand future for the country we love. Love India.

Past, Present & Future

“One of the most brilliant and astounding topics to talk about is the ‘Time’”

This is how the teacher started the class when she planned to teach her students something related to time.

She proceeded, “You all know why? Nobody knows the answers for questions regarding time that begin with ‘where, when, who and what’. Because, noone knows what lies in their future. Nobody remembers everything that happened in their past. Nobody knows when exactly the universal time started. Nobody knows…..hmmmm” She gave a slight grin at Mickey who was munching something.

Mickey immediately realized from the sudden silence of the teacher that something has gone wrong in the class. In an attempt to hide all those left outs inside the draw, he spilled the water in his water container on the floor.

The teacher, at the pinnacle of her anger, asked him to stand up and explain to the class what he had been doing all these time when she was spending all her precious time explaining about time. Teacher reacted “What was going on there when I was struggling here to push something into all the 32 heads?” Mickey, with a low voice replied “Ma’am, I was doing something to understand time” Teacher responded “Oh. Okay. Can you tell us how?” .Sarcastic. The smart kid spontaneously started off with an explanation “You see. It’s indeed an interesting and astounding topic like you said” Teacher “Come on dear. Explain it.” Again, she had a sarcastic tone. Mickey decided to take a chance and started speaking out “Ma’am, I go with you completely for your statement which was ‘Nobody knows about their future and nobody remembers everything that happened in their past. Everything is fine. I was thinking over it”.

He continued “In the past, I never knew that in the future, which is my present now, I’ll be eating in your class. Now, at present, which was my future in the past, I didn’t expect a teacher to question me for eating in the class. I’m really not scared of being punished in the future for, I would be punished which would become my present in the short future and becomes my past as soon I suffer it. I’m so confident about the future since I know what you would have decided to do with me in the future at present which would be my past in the future and I’m so confident that it would soon become the present, which is the future at this moment, and it would soon turn out to be my past. I even wonder if I could repeat what happened in the past, which is also the past at present, in the future, then will I be given the same punishment which you would be giving me in the future, which is of course the future of the future? In this case, the mistake I committed in the past becomes my action in the present, which is the future at present, and I would be punished in the future, which is also the future of the present. So…” Tweety birds started circling the teacher’s head and she started speaking “Mickey, I understand….” Mickey never gave the teacher a chance to interrupt him and he proceeded “I would like to remind you that in the past, which was the future at that time, when I tried to interrupt while you were talking, without realizing what’s going to happen in the future at present, which is now the past, you immediately stopped me at that time which was the present at that time, and it was also the future of the moment when I tried to interrupt you and it ultimately became the past in the future, which is the past now. So, ma’am, I kindly request you at present which was once the future, not to interrupt me in the future until I complete explaining you about my understanding of the past, present and the future, which was the topic you were about to explain in the past, which was the present in the past and which is right now the past. I’m not sure whether you would teach us about the ‘Time’ in the future, which, if you do, would become the present in the future, and also the past in the far future. Thank you for accepting my request in the past, which was the future at that moment, of not interrupting me while I carry on with my explanation.” Teacher, who was sweating profusely, remained silent for a moment.

The whole class was struck with dull silence. It gave everyone the feeling they would have had if they had been standing next to a railway track with a train moving fast on it for few minutes.

After recovering herself from what had just happened, the teacher said “Mickey, you really think I would like to carry on with this topic after all these terrible things that happened just a few moments back? No way. I have no idea what this should be called” One student raised her hand, stood up and told “ma’am, you should call it the future right? Because, Mickey was talking about this thing in the future which is the past now and…” even before the girl could complete what she had in her mind, the teacher strated screaming. “OHHH MY GODDDD!!!!” those were the last words which the teacher spoke before she ran out of the class which was the present at that time and which was once the future when Mickey was explaining about the past, present and the future, which is now the past.

Time is indeed an interesting and astounding topic. Moral: Use the past, present and the future properly and JUDICIOUSLY in order to make the teachers flee away from the class.

Frames of Life

Few days back, I was discussing something with one of my closest pals that fell in the region of our mutual interests. It was indeed interesting. During the conversation, we eventually found that the topic wasn’t restricted within a specific boundary and that we were talking about everything that sounds vivid to even the most uninterested person in the whole good world. We jumped upon a theory that actually related popular mythologies & beliefs and science. More specifically, time, which is the most bizarre topic, a brain could deal with. We ultimately found ourselves starting to believe in rebirth. Scientifically put, we agreed that one’s life has different frames.

According to the scientists who go with Frame theory, life has 3 basic frames namely the past, the present and the future frames. And these frames might be scaled on a convenient basis, like, hours, minutes, seconds or even micro-seconds. When drilled deep, we would find that there are uncountable countless number of future frames left in each one’s life and there are countless frames that have been sent to the past in our lives. I writing a blog on this topic was in the set of future frames and now it’s in the present frame and when I finish posting it, it goes to the past frame set.

The basic Indian mythology and belief is that everything happens every second. Simply put, there are worlds where the future frames are alive and there are worlds where the past frames are happening. This world, where we find things happening around us is a part of the big frame arrangements. What we’re here and what happens to us in this world become the median that divides the past and the future frames of life. This means somewhere down the future frames, say 20 years, we are living at an age 20 more than what we are now. Somewhere deeper down the future, we’re already dead. But, we’re still living here which is the median frame. We are dead. But, we are still living.

In the set of frames in the past that have been experienced by us, we would be living younger than what we are now in the present frame. 10 years down the past set of frames, I can see myself younger and more playful. 22 years back, I haven’t even born. But, I’m living now. So this is how it goes, putting all the three sets of frames together. I haven’t born in the past but I’m already dead in the future but still living the present.

We ended our conversation right there since things started contradicting each other. For instance, in the worlds that are in the past frames, say 100 years back, India wasn’t independent. In the present world, India is a free country. Our conversation takes this with the statement ‘India isn’t independent, but, it’s independent’. The difference is just the ‘Time’.

It seemed interesting to me because I imagined myself to be in some other world in the past where I’m younger and I was experiencing fun time. I was even more interested to imagine my future. Somewhere in the future, I am a grown up. Somewhere in the future I am an old man. Somewhere in the future, I’ve already lived the future. Life is indeed great!!
