Now on to this weeks challenge which is HUGS and Kisses:

Well I can''t believe my son  turned 22 on Tuesday, where did the time go.. That's why I tell young mom's not to rush things because the time goes by so quickly so cherish each and every moment.

Add Yes the cake was Delish!!! Chocolate Moose filling to die for and the top was crushed cookies
and yes my son said the only reason I got the cake was because it was my favorite flower
Well, that was part of it, but the Chocolate Moose had a lot more  to do with it too...lol

Well anyway, I decided to  merge images again and use Girl with Sign that you can find HERE and this adoragle Sailor Dog which is part of a GORGEOUS Sailor Boy set HERE to wish my son a Happy Birthday and put lots of hugs and kisses inside the card just like he did when he was small in all my cards...remember all those X's and O's

Here is the card I made for him

Dancing Singing #143

It's Thursday so you know what that means, It's time for Mo's and this week our theme is singing and dancing..  Now you can interpret this any way you want just remember to use any of Mo's adorable images and you're good to go.  But for me  living in New York and having Broadway at my back door so many things came to mind,  But in the end, I decided to use "Did you Hear" since this image reminds me of "Little Orphan Annie" singing to her dog and you can find this adorable image right HERE  and  HERE  So this is my interpretation of this weeks theme singing and dancing.

Oh and before I forget  there is a GDT call over at Mo's so if you want to be a Guest Designer for a 3 month gig, just put GDT after your name when you post and head on over to Mo's to get all the detail's.

And yes, I will be Broadway bound again with my son to see "War Horse" at Lincoln Center not sure when, but I will be getting tickets in the near future.  I can't wait to spend a day in the city with him.   We are also planning on just standing on the Ticket Line in Times Square where all the shows hand in there tickets for the day  and seeing what ever show they have extras for.  That should be fun...  Anyway...

I hope I inspired someone to join in on the fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with, just don't for get to use one of Mo's images. If you need more inspiration don't forget to visit the rest of the teams blogs they really out did themselves and came up with some great ideas just click HERE to see what they came up with and as Pat always says, don't forget to leave them a little love.

Buttercup Fairy

Well, it's the first Thursday of the momth which means it's "Anything Goes at Mo's".. So with that in mind and all the baby blanket's I'm making I needed another baby card and tag since my sister in law asked me to make a yellow baby blanket along with a card to go with it for her dear friends daughter who is expecting. So this is what I came up with. Nothing fancy as far as the blanket goes since the mom to be isn't into anything frilly. Plus she don't know if it's a boy or a girl So with that in mind, I decided to use the basket weave stitch along with a seed stitch border which to me is perfect for both a boy or a girl. I used this adorable baby fairy which comes in a set of 3. This one is the Buttercup Fairy I made this card and matching tag to go along with the blanket she will be giving at the shower later on this month You can find the set of fairies HERE

The Power

Well it Thursday, and that means it time for Mo's and this week the challenge calls for that of a masculine nature.  Now for me that means CAS. No flowers, No Lace, No frilly stuff so what beterr image than "King for a Day" which you can find HERE and those  Lazy Mutt which you can find HERE.  Now I  told you I love these little mutts and as you can see, they can be used in so many ways.  They come in a set of three so this is the second image.

This image represents my husband to a "T".  He sits in his recliner  has the remote and is control.  But in my house, we don't call it the remote, we call it "The Power" because whom ever has it has total control of the TV.  we've called it "The Power" for as long as I can remember and now we have friends calling it "The Power" cause it's true who ever has that remote has complete and utter control of that TV...Complete and utter Power...lol   This was the card I gave my  husband for Father's Day, and he loved it.  He said it really reprepresented him to a "T' except for the beer can so I told him to pretend it was water

and of course my angle shot:

I hope I inspired someone to join in on the fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with, just don't for get to use one of Mo's images. Well it's Thursday so that's means it's time for a Mo's challenge and it's  Elaine's turn to host this week and she decided to go with "Anything Goes" Easy Peasie right. So for  this weeks challenge at Mo's  I decided to make a baby card and tag for the blanket since as you know I have tons of babies on the way.   This was made for a baby shower that was on June 2 and this is the Baby Card, Tag and Blanket that I made for one of the teachers that I work with. She doesn't know if it will be a boy or a girl, so I thought this would be gender appropriate. Since she is a teacher I thought a Poem would be perfect I used Wyken Blynken and Nod  that you can find HERE and HERE

Card with the tag out:

Who Me, Not Me?

In my house I have a middle child, are you scratching your heads and saying doesn't she have two boys, well, not really because it is this child my middle one that is my forgetful one. You see whenever I ask my boys if they did something it's always "Not Me"that did it, did you break the glass, answer Not Me, Who ate the last cookie, answer "Not Me"..which one of you forgot to throw out the garbage..answer "Not Me" so we dubbed "Not Me" our middle child since it is always "Not Me" that does it...lol I decided to merge again and use three images this time the first one Who me which you can find HERE throwing a snowball at his little brother who is having the time of his life playing in the snow. Look at his face, it is comical, really a perfect expression of Who Me? The other two Kai in the Snow you can find HERE and The Snowman HERE

Aloha

My father worked for American Airlines, and with working for an airline comes privlidges.  So as teenagers, we got to travel to many places. We would have to go stand by, but we didn't care, we would just pack up our bags and go, and what ever flight had room is where we'd end up. One time we tried for Italy and ended up in Switzerland. This was the way we traveled, and I kind of got used to it. I just wish I took advantage of more than I did,  but at least my parents did.

Anyway, this little sweetie reminded me of my trip to Hawaii and the fun we had on our little "adventure". You see, my Mom came up with this bright idea that since we were already half-way there, let's visit Australia. So my Dad calls up and books us on the next flight out. Only problem, we had summer clothes, and it was winter there... So it wasn't a well thought out plan on my Mother's part,, so we literally stayed for two nights and then flew back to sunny Hawaii, where I hope to go again some day. I used this little hula dancer called Kalei that you can find HERE
