Twins Baseball

This was our 4th year in a row of attending a Twins Baseball game. It has become a tradition in our family and we look forward to the family outing every year. This year we were lucky to have some friends join us. It was a little warm at the beginning of the game but ended up being a beautiful night. And the Twins won! (Which means we actually made it through the entire game without having to leave early.)

A little stop at the Mall of America before the game.

How these two ran into each other in the largest mall in America, we'll never know.

Pizza on the Farm

About a 30 minutes drive south of Rochester is an adorable little place called, Dreamacres. We had heard about this from friends. When you show up you order your pizza that they make right there with all ingredients grown on their farm. It was so YUMMY! Colten also tried their homemade Gingerale. I was not a fan. Then Talya ran around and played on the equipment and played in the barn. The evening was beautiful!

Kanas City

Colten attended a Family Medicine conference in Kansas City over the weekend. We decided since it was only a 6 hour drive that we would all join him. We also had some friends, the Thurstons, headed down for the same thing. We left after work on Thursday and drove almost the whole way. We stopped at some little town in Missouri and spent the first night. Then Friday we finished the drive.
The husbands attended the conference and the moms took the kids to the most adorable little petting zoo I have every seen. It was called Deanna Rose Children Farmstead. We spent the afternoon there and later had dinner with a residency program from Indiana.

The kids got to feed the baby goats with bottles. They loved that!

On Saturday we headed with our friends to see Independence, MO. Then back to their hotel for swimming and pizza.

On Sunday we stopped by Liberty Jail and had a brief tour and then stopped by the Kansas City Temple before heading back to Rochester.

Minnesota... Here we come!

We spent 6 weeks in Utah and after our sad good-byes it was time to head home. We caught a ride with Grandma Hunt to Mesquite and then Ian and Lara took us the rest of the way to the airport in Las Vegas. Talya was awesome on the flight the whole time. She was such a good helper and listened so good! Ty was pretty good for the first 2 hours and the last hour of the flight was a challenge but we eventually made it home safe and sound.

Everyone is buckled up and ready to go!
