SOTM Blog Hop - Friendship Bouquet

Thanks for joing us for another Stamp of the Month blog hop! This month, we are featuring the May Stamp of the Month, Friendship Bouquet. I love the cheerful flowers! I decided to keep my card simple this month. With a graduation and a wedding in the next couple of months, we need a lot of thank-you notes around here! I have been trying to make some cute cards that will mail easily. I added some sparkle to the card using Stardust Glitz Glue. Of course, because I'm crazy about this paper, I used Dotty for You.

Dotty for You Blog Hop

We're going Dotty with a fun blog hop! Join me to see fun, creative projects made using the Dotty for You papers. The hop is a circular hop, so you can start anywhere. The Dotty for You paper packet has 12 different patterns (2 sheets of each pattern), PLUS the reverse side is dotted paper in different colors! Fun! I used the dotted side to make this little quartet of cards. I cut the cards using Art Philosophy and kraft cardstock. (Card - , cut at 4"; front: Layer - , cut at 3.5") Super easy!

To make things even more fun, I also made matching envelopes (Font layer - Shift - , cut at 4.25" for the envelope and 4" for the liner).

To make the cards, you will use the following items:

Papers: Dotty for You, Kraft and Colonial White cardstock

Stamp sets: 4 My Friend, Diverse Backgrounds

Embellishments: Just Blooms Paper Shapes - Paradise, Baker's Twine Paradise Assortment, Brads Basic Assortment

Other: Art Philosophy, 3-D foam tape

Feb. SOTM Blog Hop - Piece of Cake

I saw this darling spinner card on Splitcoast Stampers (click here to view the tutorial) and had to try it. (Whoa -- I almost said, "Had to give it a SPIN!") I'm thrilled with how it turned out! The Caboodle papers are bright and cheery. When you open the card, the piece with the cakes on it spins around. Too cute!

I got a little print-happy that day on SCS and printed off another tutorial on making faux alligator wallets. I immediately pictured it in hot pink, so out came the Hollyhock cardstock and the chocolate ink pad. I'm still a little Cuttlebug challenged, but I managed to get the embossing done after a few (several) tries. Please don't look too closely at my sewing, especially on the curves. I really do a lot better on fabric! :)

The cupcakes needed to be frosted, so I used Liquid Applique to give it some dimension. The "cherries" are actually Tulip Bitty Brads. The inside is lined with Bella papers and closed with a Velcro closure:

Wouldn't this be a cute place for a gift card? Or some cold, hard cash?
