Planning for the week ahead

Goals for this week (including the ones I didn't quite achieve last week!!) are:

WORK
If I get stressed go into the basement and deep breathe to calm myself.
Concrete plans for the office space.
Plans for section management.

CRAFTS
Birthday cards.
Imbolc decor.
House scrapbook - get it up to date!
Create minimum of 1 12x12 page with kit.

HOME
Blog daily!
Clear shed.
Continue with goals course.

SPIRITUAL
Plan for Imbolc.
Plan out my pouch.

HEALTH AND WELL BEING
1 yoga session outside of class.
Reconnect with one crystal.

My incentive to myself is this:  If I complete all my goals in one week I will buy myself a nice bunch of flowers.  If I complete all my goals in one month, I will book in for a manicure.  If I complete all of my goals for 2 months I will book in for a massage. Sounds good to me!

Planning for the week ahead

Well blogland, I am feeling alot better! I still feel fairly run down compared to normal but compared to how I have been feeling thats just fine with me!
This bug has been just awful! My immune system isn't doing what it should at the moment. A dear friend has recommeded Berocca to me.  Has anyone ever tried this, and if so what did you think of it?

This illness has reminded me of a couple of things I already know but had pushed from the forefront of my mind:
1. Our bodies are such tender and influential things.
When I started to feel better and actually tried to eat and drink something other than water I felt like every single thing that I tasted was new to me. My taste buds were so sensitive I could really really taste things. Hash browns (that I cook in the oven usually and love as a treat for brunch)...tasted of nothing but grease :-(

Packet pasta sauce (tasted just disgusting) Coffee tasted yum, but the caffeine rush that hit my body was so strong and so much like a drug that I realised just how dangerous that drink really is!! I still love coffee and I'm not going to stop drinking it, but I will truly drink it with respect for what it is.
I found the herbal teas I enjoy to be tastier than ever and I could also feel the way the herbs were effecting me (but in a much better and healthier way than the coffee!!) So again, an increased respect for herbal teas has been remembered!
This illness has been like a detox that I hadn't planned but may be needed!! I really hope I can keep in my mind the importance of remembering that eating, drinking, (and applying skin products) are becoming part of my body. I only want the best, and things that make me feel good and well to be part of me.

2. Our minds and bodies are so incredibly linked.
I felt so low last Tuesday after another set back in our plans to extend our house.  I pretty much fell apart for the afternoon, yoga pulled me back together, but then an awful day at work on Wednesday just knocked me right back down.  I don't think its a coincidence that I was so so so low mentally and emotionally on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then I woke up on Thursday to be so ill.  I MUST take care of my whole self.

Anyway, personal rant to self over with :-) I intended to set out my goals for the week ahead in this post!
I shall split them up for this purpose but this is just to categorise them, not in any order of importance.

WORK
Walk away if I get stressed and spend 5 minutes in the basement deep breathing to calm myself, put a smile on my face that comes from my heart and go back out there.
Plan the work room space for staff efficiency (considering using half as a meeting room)

CRAFTS
Complete 2011 round up page
See if I can make Project Life work for me

HOME
Speak to Santander further and start process for mom to be removed from mortgage (if they refuse ask for details of clause to leave there)
Blog every day this week :-)

HEALTH AND WELL BEING
Do 1 yoga session outside of class
Start a nutrition diary writing down how I feel after eating/drinking (and also how I feel next day)
Reconnect with one crystal

SPIRIT
Celebrate Esbat with S
Start preparations for Imbolc
Work on/Plan pouch.

Well, thats me.  I had intended on being asleep by now but theres still so much I want to do before work! Theres a lesson there Caroline! Stop trying to do so much and you might stop running yourself down!
Night night!

Today I looked to the past and planned for the future!

I had a lovely day scrapping today.
First I celebrated my childhood with a wonderful photo from 1983. I used a sketch from Shimelle's new weekly sketch series.

My second project isn't that great a layout, BUT it is really important to me. It is a page documenting our decision to move forward with our extension.  It may look a little odd without photos but I wanted our own words to be the focus.  With this in mind we each wrote our thoughts on a tag.

Checking in on my January goals again!!

1. Complete this months One Little Word prompt. Although I'm not happy with my own photo! Am hoping to go out for the day this Sunday and take a meaningful photo!!

2. Complete a layout for each of the 4 free classes at Two Peas in a Bucket....Two classes are now 'live'. I have done one layout so not too bad!....
21/1/11 Hmmmmm, 3 are now live and only one layout. Although I am looking forward to a lot of scrapping at the weekend!!

3. Achieve all goals on my Simplify 101 checklist....completed this weeks checklist. Next weeks checklist starts tomorrow. Exciting! Its about turning those 101 dreams into goals.
21/1/11 Yay!....second weeks checklist completed. Hooray!!

4. Get photos from 2010 all printed and ready to scrap... sorted onto a CD and ready to head to Jessops for printing tomorrow! Last time I did a bulk print I used Photobox. It was amazingly fast delivery and good quality pics. BUT they defaulted as 6x4.5 which although only .5 of an inch made a huge difference to scrap pages!! When I changed them on the site to 6x4 they cropped the photos :0(
21/1/11Still to print :0( This is holding my scrapping up a little bit :0(

5. Complete Document 2010 {blush!} ... not touched this yet!!
21/1/11  Ditto!!

6. Complete a 2011 page with a photo from THIS year (So far I just seem to be scrapping from last year and although last year was only days ago, I want t do something that is NOW!!) ...lots of ideas for pages, lots of sketches, lots of prompts, lots of pages to scrap lift BUT... no photos!! Again hoping this weekend will bring some yummy photo opportunities!

7. Contact an architect about our extension! {Note to self: CONTACT one! Thats all you have to do this month! Just do it! Before you go insane :0( } Eeeeek!! I've croseed this out!! The most important one and...I've done it! I've emailed him back! Woooo hoooooo!!!

Yay!! Quite a lot done (some fairly important stuff too) and a bit still to do. Not bad though, so I'm happy!!
Thanks for being my witnesses to these :0)

At the weekend I'll post some photos of LOs completed over the past week or so.
Have a good Friday.
