Fall to Layout #24- Take Two

Hello all and welcome back!
Let's get back into it, shall we?

Here is this week's sketch. When I think of sketches to "fall to", this one is high ranking!

If you would like dimensions, I used the following:

Card Base: 4-1/4 x 5-1/2
Frame Layer: 3-1/8 x 4-3/8
Main Layer: 3 x 4-1/4
Pattern Piece: 3 x 1-3/4

Here's my card!

I was definitely in the mood for clean and simple and cutesy! This Lawn Fawn pineapple certainly fit the bill! I first stamped my pineapple and then coloured it with the Copics. Next, I stamped more pineapples on the Green Parakeet panel and clear embossed those. I attached that piece to the Lemon Tart panel, added the ribbon for some subtle texture and stamped the aloha greeting. That panel was adhered to a New Leaf Panel and then finally adhered to the black panel. I hope you enjoy it!

Supplies:
Stamps: Aloha (Lawn Fawn)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Versamark (Tsukineko)
Paper: White, Black, Lemon Tart, Green Parakeet, New Leaf (Papertrey Ink)
Accessories, etc.: Lemon Tart twill ribbon (PTI), Clear embossing powder, Copics (YR18, Y32, Y35, YG13, G03)

Up next, Chera's take on the sketch. She stuck with general design of the main panel piece of the sketch and expanded that to the whole card.

Here it is!

And here's what she had to say about it:

Today's card is brought to you by the Concord and 9th flower turnabout stamp set! I saw the sketch and this is what I had pictured in my mind!! This stamp is great for those of us who love to make their own designer looking paper! I pulled out my Wplus9 inks (wild mango, blossomberry, sweet gelato, sweet nectar, cockleshell, mojito) because they are my fave! Once the flower stamping was complete I used a double stitched curve die from MFT to make my edge! Just that slight detail makes the card! The hello die is from Simon Says Stamp, I layered it up 3 times and then added some glossy accents on it to give it a little shine!! To give it that Chera finish,  I added some clear sequins….couldn’t resist!!!

Hope you are inspired to create something today!!
Chera

(other products use Wplus9 hand lettered hello stamp set, neenah solar white 80 and 110lbs  cardstock, elegant eggplant cardstock from Stampin Up!)
