It's me again....

Well...where did the last 6 months go??? Can you believe that it is already Thanksgiving and Christmas time?? Like I said...where did the last 6 months go???!

Well, I know where part of it went. In my last post I introduced you to my new granddaughter Scarlett. She will be 7 months old the first week of December. I have been enjoying her and the boys very much and not much else is getting done.Did you notice the bling on her little ears?? LOL

Seth the oldest loves his lil sis...Sion isn't so sure...I could not get a good pic of the two boys last year at Christmas, and now I can see 3 will be just about impossible...lol
Seth started kindergarten in August. Oh, I still don't know how that happened! He was so excited! Here are a couple of pics of the first day. He rode the bus...and absolutely loved it...still does. And he made it home just fine...phew...nana worried about him all day...Look at that smile!
Anyway, I did get a little crafting done.

Here are some ATC's that I made for a swap with the Friends_That_Scrap Yahoo group.
I am still jamming with an ATC Jam group...I absolutely love doing these.
I also got some cards made and did a layout for a challenge. The layout is one of Seth when he was 2...he managed to get into a whole stick of butter...a lot went in him...a lot went ON him...
Well that is all for now...I've got more ATC Jams to share, but I have got to get pics first.

Have a great Thanksgiving and I' will talk with you soon!

Where have I been...?? and Merry Christmas!!

I apologize for being AWOL again, but I have been up to my eyeballs...so to speak. To catch you up...we had a wonderful mini vacation to Blairsville, Ga. the end of October. The color in the North GA mountains was absolutely breathtaking! We had a wonderful time visiting with family and sight-seeing. We got back home the 29th and settled back in here. Halloween evening my daughter Cristy and her hubby took Seth and Sion trick-or-treating at their other grandma's home. When they were in the process of leaving, Cristy stepped and fell in a newly dug up flower bed as she was trying to catch Seth who was jumping off of the steps. She turned her ankle when she fell and Seth's 53 lbs on top of her broke her ankle...BAD!! Every bone...The doctor said that she only see's this kind of ankle injury when people fall from roofs or from auto accidents. So after surgery, 9 screws and 1 plate later, she is s-l-o-w-l-y healing. I quickly became chief cook, bottle washer and babysitter (mama sitter too when Michael is at work). She is now able to put some weight on it, which means no more crutches, wheel chairs and her crawling on the floor to get around. She starts PT after Christmas. Doctor said she might be able to go back to work in February. And on top of all of that I have been working on 3 album orders that I finally finished up Dec 23rd. Folks...I'm tired...!
Anyway I wanted to share some of what I have managed to get done since the end of October.

In the middle of all that was going on I did manage a few swaps. Here is a card and an ATC I did for 2 swaps.
The orange mesh behind the embossed pumpkins is from an onion bag...cool, huh?

I wish all of you Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!! 2010 is going to be a great year!!!

Well I am going to run and enjoy the quietness that is currently in my home right now....think I'll take a nap!

Those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer....

...are almost over. I don't know about where you are, but it has been extremely hot here in North Florida. Except for a few days at the pool, we have spent most of the summer inside. You know it's hot when the grandbabies won't stay outside and play. Here are a few pics of Seth and Sion at the pool last week. Seth is almost 3 1/2 years old (next month) and Sion is 15 months. I just can't believe how fast they are growing. Seth is quite the big brother. He is teaching Sion all the things NOT to do...lol...and Sion is learning fast!!! Never a dull moment with those two.

Had to show you Sion's latest trick, or he thinks it is. He empties my scrap paper bin and hides in it. Of course all that fit's is his head...he pulls it off and says BOO! He thinks it is so cool...lol.

I have managed to get some pages completed for the album orders that I am working on. This page uses paper from Prima's First Blush collection and paper from Tim Holtz's Distressable line. The embellies are from my stash...haven't a clue where they came from.
The following pages use Prima's "First Blush" collection and stamps from Unity Stamp Co.

Here is a card that I made for a challenge over at Croppinsville. It uses Graphic 45's "Fashionista" line. This paper is gorgeous. I also did a layout with it. Gotta find the pic. Make sure you check out Allie's store, she has some really cool stuff.
And last but not least, here are my Halloween ATC's I just finished for a swap over at Scrapbookcraftingfriends.ning.com . These cute little guys were easy and fun to make. The strips are actually used dryer sheets...kinda gives him a gauzey (is that a word??) look. He is distressed with Memento and Distress Ink. The little orange pumpking is a button from "Dress It Up".

I am really looking forward to Fall...it is my favorite time of the year. Hubby and I are planning a trip back to Blue Ridge/Blairsville Ga. mountains to see the leaves turning. Plans are to go the last week of October.
Well I had better run and get something accomplished today...or maybe not...lol
Have a great week and be blessed!!

The dreaded stomach bug....and a new LO

Well...yuk...

The dreaded stomach bug visited our home last week. Lot's of fun here folks! It started with Sion (my 10 mo old grandbaby)...oh he was soooo sick...I felt so bad for him, I just wanted to cry. Then exactly 1 week later it hit me....it was 4 days before I could eat anything substantial, but by day 5 my appetite was back and I started feeling better. Now my 24 yo son has it...he is on day 4. So far hubby and the rest of the crew are OK...

I did get a LO finished last week before "the bug". I am a member of Paper Therapy http://www.papertherapy.ning.com/ and Melissa posts challenges every 2 weeks. I got to play with some of my new acrylic stamps on this layout...these are the cutest butterflies. These 2 cuties are my great niece and nephew.

I also finished up some ATC's for a swap that I participated in. I love doing ATC's...actually I am getting addicted to them.

Gotta run for now...talk to you later. Have a great week!!!
