It's Sunday already?!
Sunday blues.
Man...need to book in tonight already. So fast...I just booked out yesterday.
Hectic week next week. I hope I can get through it. Endure! My SGTs said the first 3 months are just physical endurance and the next 3 months are mental endurance. Physical endurance is easier than mental endurance he said. Trust your instructors, they are always right...most of the time :p
Just take the days as it comes.
Guard duty tomorrow.

Results of 6 weeks in NS
Before NS,
My weight was around 73-74kg
My pants size was 35 to 36
My 2.4km timing was freaking 18 mins!
6 weeks into NS
My weight drop to 67kg
I can wear size 33!
2.4km is 13mins. Not in my prime when I attained that timing.
NS is good.
ERS Wk1
From recruit to a specialist cadet trainee...not that my ns life has been easier. I manage to get chosen to be in the Emergency Response Specialist Course! ERS! Now my NS life will get even more tougher from now on. Much, much, much...much tougher. It's like moving on from Kindergarten straight to University.
I'm training to become the section commander; leading the firemen on site. A sergeant that will lead 3 firefighter. 4 men team. Here's a rundown of the training. Can't reveal too much...hehe:
For the first 3 months..12 weeks, I will learn what all firefighters need to know. This will be the most toughest and challenging part both mentally and physically. I already tried on the firefighter suit, full gear minus the breathing apparatus, carrying the hose, 2 hoses to be exact, and WALK, just WALK from one point to another, a short distance, after putting down the hoses, I was literally panting. Oh yah, I have to wear my uniform under the fire suit...so yeah. HOT! UNDER THE HOT SUN! At the end of that lesson, after removing the suit, my uniform was wet top to bottom. soaking wet with sweat. It's like wearing my uniform and submerge myself into the swimming pool. Only hotter. Endure...must endure.
The next 3 months will be mostly theoretical. So 6 months total.
24 more weeks to go for Sergeant rank. 12 more weeks for the fire badge. Fire badge = Officially a fireman.
For now, just enjoy Hari Raya.
Hope I don't get OOC'ed(Out Of Course)

annnndd...it's the 4th week!
PTP phase, nearly over. I'll be going to ERS insyaAllah. I went for the interview last Tuesday. The interview was so sudden. It was suppose to be on Wed. Then suddenly my CPL came to our bunks. Call up the names, including mine and straight away go for the interview.
I lost about 5-6kg in 3 weeks! Thus my weight reached the 60s nw! My timing for 2.4 km is 13min. Not a passing time but it's a huge improvement since my first IPPT test. My first test 2.4 km time was freaking 18 mins!!!!
And this week, I was appointed as the bunk IC (in charge). And last Thurs, combined with another platoon 1 bunk mistakes during bunk inspection, we had a total of 24 mistakes (14 mistakes from our bunk :p). After a discount from the CPL, we have to do ONLY 240 push ups :D
Then Friday. Book out day. Or so I thought. My name really falls on the guard duty list. hah. Guard duty is not that bad. Since my part was just sit in the CCTV air conditioned room, and prowl a certain area of BRTC.
Next week. New intake. Azli masuk! HAHA! Slamat ah. Intake korg tk akan 'se-lucky' intake kteorng.
