I am 100% sure that Holly Becker from the Decor8 blog doesn't need any introductions by now, specially If you like reading lifestyle/design blogs or you are a blogger yourself, I am pretty sure that you know her by now. So just a quick post to let you know about her new e-course Blogging Your Way: With Style & Intention. I am a bit disappointed for not having the time to do it myself, as the next few months ahead are going to be very hectic and full of work and great new opportunities so I have to focus on running chocolate creative and maybe next year really work on this blog. ADVANCED SILK-SCREEN PRINT WORKSHOP COURSE AT MORLEY COLLEGE
On Wednesday I went along to the 10th Anniversary of the 'Foundation textile course' at Morley. We were celebrating all these years of excellent teaching, talented students and great results. I feel very proud of have been one of those students and have the privilege of learning my skills in such a relaxed and friendly environment, where I was allowed to express my creativity with the continuos support of my tutors.

I thought you may be interested in a  Summer short course, they are doing on silk-screen print, here are the details in case you fancy to learn some new skills or use the space to create your own work.

JULY 5 6 & 7 10 - 5pm
Morley College Summer School offers textile printers access to a well equipped, specialist studio with tutor expertise and support. Some experience is necessary to make the most of 3 consecutive days to realize personal projects. Course cost includes all printing materials.
Fee £120 Bullet steamer, 2 heat presses and exposure unit in studio.

This is a 6 week course run by my dear friend Amelia Critchlow, starting on: MONDAY 14th JUNE 2010, exploring art methods in an experimental way. Cost: £60 ($92 US dollars with limited places to ensure individual attention.

This on-line course is designed for those who:

*Those who may already work in one medium but have the desire to launch out into something fresh

*who have an urge to be creative, but worry about going to physical classes for fear of having their abilities judged

Would you like to find the natural artist in you?

This is a course that will explore a variety of art techniques and methods in an experimental way whilst having fun with an on-line community, sharing and discussing ideas and work produced. The work is in the play!

It is a 6 week course is for busy people who either want to take their creative inclinations to the first step, or people already using one medium who want to try something new and get fresh inspiration.
