Easter Bunny Chipboard Album

Greetings all my lovely Crafty Friends.  Just want to share this cute Bunny Rabbit Chipboard Album that was created for Easter this year.  It's a chipboard album that Michael's had offered in their dollar bins years ago.....should I say!!!!  lol
This album is chock full of CottageCutz Easter dies.  You know I am a Cottagecutz girl.  The dies are so adorable and fun to work with!  The above page has a little pocket holding a tag.  For the bunny tail there's a rosette that has pretty eyelash yarn wrapped around it to make a cute fuzzy tail.
Isn't that bunny in the carrot car a hoot!!!  Yes, it's another Cottagecutz die!  It's so fun to create with these dies.
This page is super sweet, isn't it.  Another bunny from Cottagecutz.
This is a pocket page with some tags from the paper collection used in the album.  Of course, the bunny is Cottagecutz again.  Just love this sweet album.
On every other page the ears on the bunny was made dimensional.  It was done every other page so the album wouldn't be to thick.
This album has lots of space for cute Easter pictures.  Hope you enjoyed this album share.  Until next time, Be Happy, Be Healthy, and be Crafty!!!!

Faith Envelope Mini

Hello friends and crafters.  Just wanted to share this little envelope mini I made last year and never posted.  It is made with #10 envelopes and folds and unfolds different ways to keep your photos with lots of journaling spots.  You can find lots of tutorials for these on YouTube.  This was going to be an insert in a mini album I made, but with all things I do - the embellishments got out of hand and it became too big!  lol
The paper used in this project is called Antiquity from The Paper Studios as found at Hobby Lobby. The doily stamps are embossed with black embossing powder.
I used Spellbinders dies, Martha Stewart punches and handmade crochet flowers throughout the album.
As you can see, it opens many ways and contains lots of tags for journaling and places for pictures.
Don't you just love the sweet little burlap touches.  All the edges of the edges of the envelope and paper have been distressed inked with Brushed Corduroy.
See all the ways this little album can open!  I told you it holds alot.
Here's how the tags look that are peeking out of the tops of the album pages.  Aren't they just perfect for photos.  Thanks so much for viewing my album.  I appreciate your visit.  Hope to see you soon.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!

Always Chipboard Album

Greetings everybody.  For my project share - this is a $1 chipboard album from Michael's.  This was created for my son Ryan's girlfriend.  She loves taking picture of the two of them together.  So I decided to make her an album to hold some of her favorites.  This is the cover.  I used lots of Recollection brand products and things you find in the dollar bins.  The butterflies are a CottageCutz die and the leave ferns are Sizzix on this cover.
The band on this page holds an envelope that will hold 4 x 6 photos.  There is a pocket on the front of the envelope that holds a bunch of tags that were created from a sheet in the paper collection.  Again this butterfly and fern leave match the front cover.
Kristen has a rabbit named Greyson so that explains the little bunny I wanted to include on this page.  I used a spellbinders die to frame their picture along with some "Want2Scrap bling around it.  The Cattail and Butterfly, the Bunny and the pretty leaf flourish behind the fabric rolled rose is CottageCutz.  There is a band behind the photo that holds more tags that can hold more pictures.
An expandable pocket that holds 4 tags is feature on this page.  I swear I love this album insert so much and have been using it in all my albums.  I did mount some picture on the tags in these pockets and it looks really beautiful.  This pocket was made with envelopes.  The butterflies are CottageCutz and the Doily is Sizzix.
This holds lots of pictures-it unties and has a place for at least 8 pictures.  The little flower is from the dollar bin at Michael's, the butterfly again is CottageCutz.  It's framed with a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page and that doily is a CheeryLynn die.
The bicycle was added to this page as Ryan and Kristen's first date was a bicycle ride at the beach.  There are several layered pockets on this page with lots of tags.  The bicycle is a CottageCutz die and the flower was created with a Marvey Punch.
This picture is from that date and I used more of the same dies for consistency throughout the album.  I think it really pulls it together that way.
Great little tag booklet behind the picture for this page.  The rolled roses are a Marianne die.  I love making rolled roses-so fun.  The crochet flower is also another one of my little side activities I like to do while riding in a car....lol
This lace pocket holds lots of tags for this page.  All the little wooden words you see throughout this album were in the $2 bins at Michael's.  The little glittered heart is a punch.  It was something I did long ago and decided to use it on this page.  Do you do that?  Make things for a project that don't work or have extra.  I put those "extras" in a box and pull it out when I am making something to see if it works with my current project.  No waste!!!

Thanks for view my mini album.  It was a fun project for me.  I love doing mini albums and 3-D projects.  I have several to share....I need to catch up...lol  I am currently taking classes for Cake Decorating.  It's something I wanted to do for years.  With my oldest son getting married in March, his future wife and I decided to make the cake for the wedding.   I am in the third course currently with one more course to go.  Each course is 4 weeks.  Believe me ladies when I tell you that making flowers with fondant and gum paste is like creating them with paper.  Just saying!!!   Happy Crafting and see you soon!

CottageCutz Spring Mini Album

So how many of you have the WeR Memory Keepers Envelop Punch Board???  I got mine at Michael's with a 40% off coupon.  It was a great purchase-there is so much you can create with that--have you notice!!!  For instance, I made this mini album with the Envelope punch board.  Thanks to the wonderful crafter who created this tutorial it was a breeze.
Today I am going to show you my cover.  This is my Design Team project for CottageCutz using the cute dies from the Garden Delight release.  Of course, I used a few other ones in my Cottage Cutz collection that coordinate perfectly with this release.    The cover uses Springtime Bunny, Garden Delight Butterflies, Lace Flower Doily, Bella Leafy Branch, and Fancy Floral Background.
Blossoms and Butterflies from DCWV is the paper collection used in this project.  I think I have hoarded that one for long enough don't you....lol  It was perfect for the bright cheerful spring look I was going for.  The edges of the paper have been distressed and inked with tea dye distress ink.  There isn't a speck of glitter on this project either...WOW-huh!!!  There is silver foil in the paper and that is what you see glistening...but yeah, no glitter.  The flowers were created with a large and medium five petal Marvey punch.  The stamp is from Michael's $1 bin from a few years ago.
Please stayed tune to more reveal of my project this month.  My mini album was made with 4 envelopes created on the Envelope Punch Board.  It was so fun to make and holds lots of pockets and pictures.  I can't wait to show you the rest of the 22 Cottage Cutz dies I used to create this.  That's right---I used a total of 27 Cottage Cutz dies for this album.  I think that is a record for me....lol  Thanks for stopping by today to view my project.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!  Here are the dies I used:

Altered Matchbox and Mini Album

Greetings my sweet friends and fellow bloggers. Here is a project I made for the Altered Matchbox and Mini Album hosted by Lydia (Itripledogdareu-youtube) over at My Scrap Room. What a fun challenge!  This has been completed for a while but I did not want to post it until I heard that my swap partner received it.
This is the Matchbox and mini together.  My swap pal Cynthia said she liked anything vintage, pink and brown.  The match box I purchased at Walmart to alter did not work for me at all.  When I painted it, it got so heavy and wet feeling that I didn't feel it would hold up.  It was yucky.  Could be the humidity here right now.  So I followed a video tutorial from Cythnialoowho on Youtube to create my box.  Great idea for those of you not knowing what to do with 250 matches with no box!!! lol
Here is the mini I made to fit inside the matchbox.   Mine takes up the entire space in the box.  My flowers are from Mon Ami Gabi, the greenery is a Marianne die, and the butterfly, of course, is a Martha Stewart punch.
This is the 1st and 2nd page of the mini.  The first page has two tags tucked into a Joy Craft Corner die.  The second page is a place for a photo that can be tucked under the roses.
This is the 3rd and 4th page of the album.  The third page has a Spellbinders D-Lite die ready for mounting a picture.  The fourth page is a pocket with cute little tags.
The 5th and 6th page of the mini include another corner Joy Craft die with tags and then a small tag on the 6th page that holds two more tags for journaling or pictures.
The 7th and 8th page include a pocket with tags and another D-lite frame with crochet flower accent with Marianne die greenery.  Here is a video of the album and other projects I sent to my swap partner.
Thank you for stopping by today.  I will be posting the rest off my projects all week long along with more things to share that have been happening in the craft room.  Have a wonderful day!

Bird House Mini Album & Altered Bird Houses

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday.  This is a project I would like to share with you.  It is something I created for a friends Birthday.  I just love how the birdhouses turned out and I adore the album and hope you do to once you have a look.
This is the birdhouse on a pedestal that I picked up at Michael's.  I have a coupon so this was 85 cents.  With all the work I did to this it looks more than 85 cents..lol
This is a little different shop of the Birdhouse so that you can see the roses I made and place on the roof.
So what we have here is a small hanging Birdhouse, a Birdhouse on a Pedestal, and a giant clothespin picture holder.  All these papers come from the dollar bin at Michael's.
Here is the front cover of the mini album I made to go with this set.  This album measures 6"x6" and is made (again) from an album from the dollar bin at Michael's.  I created the birdhouse myself on the front of this cover and the bird was a brooch.
Here is the second and third page with embellishments.  The little lace envelope is from Cottage Cutz at The Scrapping Cottage-so very sweet and cute.
Here is the 4th and 5th page of the album.

Here is the 6th and 7th page of the album.  The little birdhouse I used is from Heartfelt Creations Garden Romance Collection.  Below is a little video that I made of this project should you care to see more!
