GNR Blogger Arrested!

I’d hate to be Kevin Cogil right now…arrested by the FBI for illegally uploading 9 unreleased Guns N Roses tracks, one person is taking the fall for doing something most die hard fans have been doing for years – sharing leaked tracks. Kevin’s problem was he promoted and bragged about his decision to share with the world material that which belonged to Axl Rose, Guns N Roses and its management. What a fool.

While it’s one thing to steal music that’s already been released, leaking songs that are unreleased and from the most expensive album of all time is real dangerous territory to enter for a file sharer. Where Kevin got the tracks is still a mystery to me, but many GNR fan sites are speculating that someone close to Axl shared some tracks with friends and those tracks eventually made their way to Kevin.

All of this will be a non issue when Chinese Democracy finally comes out. Trying to keep this album a secret with so much attention and interest surrounding it is, and has proven to be, impossible. Having heard many of the leaked tracks I can honestly say Axl is sitting on a masterpiece; chock full of instant classics. This is the year Axl to get it out…We’ve got the soda ready.

The new banner excluding Kevin is pretty funny considering you have a poll on which of the new tracks is your favotite. Maybe you should exclude yourselves as well!

pretty fucking funny considering you lls about the leaks, and the lyrics to the leaks are in your contests. If you care so much why do you partake in the drama?

find it funny how you exclude this guy from receiving a dr pepper. If anything he has kept the interest in this album where it is. Dr Pepper would have never stepped in if it hadn't been for people like him. These leaks got people interested in this album. I've even converted over a few friends because of those leaks. Imagine every GN'R fan getting at least 2 other people into this new music...bam need i say more? If anything he should be receiving a free case of dr pepper when the album comes out...IF it comes out in '08.

I think its pretty lame.
I mean, these leaks wouldnt be an issue, if the record had come out.
Its an awkward situation, and fans shouldnt be blamed. After all - they do care about the music, even if it just means they will download it.

I quite honestly do not get it.

I mean - they've got the songs -
we've heard them!!!!

They say there's even more songs, but why not put out just one record, everyone would be happy, and GNR will get people off them back, they could take time to put out another. They dont have to put out everything once, i mean.....
Give us the record.......
