Fairy hugs

Hello!  Well we are sitting at anchor off an island not far from Athens, just waiting to find out if we are returning to the dock tonight or not.  The guests and crew have been fed and watered and now I'm having a little relax.  I was doing a spot of blog catching up and I spotted Maria Therese's adorable Pollycraft fairy card and I remembered that I had one of those I hadn't posted yet!  Hers is much prettier than mine though.

Did you know that some of Paula's Pollycraft images are now available at Little Miss Muffet Stamps?  And I have it on good authority that there may be some new ones coming in the nearish future!

Here's my card using the Sapphire Bloom Fairy:

The main papers are from Bo Bunny and Crate Paper (I think) and the lovely ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The swirly bling is by Prima and the charm is from my stash.

Here's  close-up of the sweet wee Sapphire Bloom fairy:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Chocolate, Coffee and Cards: Anything Goes
Fashionista Challenge: Winged Things

Have a lovely evening!

Nuts about you

Good morning!  Well my computer is almost back to normal after a major meltdown (I think it was caused by the latest AVGfree update) in which I lost everything and had to reformat.  Thankfully I did a backup earlier this month, so I have only lost about 20 days worth of stuff.  It's going to take me a while to get sorted again though (not what I had planned to do this weekend)!

I have a Pollycraft card to share today using the adorable Barclay.  Sadly Pollycraft is closing it's doors on June 8th, but Paula is hosting a nostalgic linky party over on her blog for everyone to show off their favourite Pollycraft creations.  If you don't have any Pollycraft digis, you are missing out and there's no excuse not to get some before the shop closes as Paula is having some amazing closing down deals!

Here's my card:

Isn't he sweet?!  The papers are a mixture from Crate Paper, Authentique and the kraft card from Making Memories (I think?).  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the little acorn charm is from my stash (I think I purchased it from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda).  The sentiment is from Pollycraft from the Critters and Cogs collection.

I coloured Barclay with copics and sponged clouds in with distress inks, but I also added some water to the clouds to soften them.

Here's a close-up:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges as well as joining the Linky Party at Tales from Pollycraft:
Mad for Markers: Masculine colours
SJ Papercrafts: All about the boy plus something old from your stash (the acorn charm and the kraft card)

Have a lovely day!

Sad news for Pollycraft Fans...

Good afternoon!  I have some sad news for all the Pollycraft fans out there... Paula has some big changes on the way in her life (a new baby in just under 12 weeks time!) and has decided to close down Pollycraft at least for now.   On the upside, she has some fabulous bargains available and some lovely freebies!  Read all about it over HERE on Paula's blog.

The shop will close on the 8th June

There are some fabulous bargains to be had though!

There are also some brand new never before seen digis including this little fairy:

Isn't she sweet?!  Her name is Sapphire Bloom - Toadstool, and you can get her HERE.   I have coloured her with copics (see details below) and added stickles to the toadstool.  The bling is by Prima and the papers are from Bo Bunny, My Little Shoebox and somewhere else as well.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda.

Here's a close-up:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Charisma Cardz: Use a metal charm
Cute Card Thursday: A touch of sparkle
Sundays with Chrissy: Things with Wings

I would just like to say that I have had a wonderful time on the Pollycraft team and I love working with Paula's gorgeous digis.  I'm going to miss Pollycraft a lot!  We have great team though and I'm sure we will all keep in touch and of course I will use my Pollycraft images lots!  Thank you Paula so much for the opportunity to be one of your girls!

Sniff, sniff...

Pollycraft Monday - Colour Inspiration

Good morning! It's Pollycraft Monday today!  Yay! Now that we have changed to fortnightly challenges, I miss my Pollycraft posts on the middle Monday.

This fortnight the lovely Sheena has set the challenge theme and she has chosen a beautiful photo for us to use as inspiration.  Here it is:

How pretty is that?! Our sponsor this fortnight is Bunny Zoe's Crafts and they are giving the winner a £10 voucher to spend in the store!

Also, did you know that our top three favourites using a Pollycraft image each challenge receive a free Pollycraft digi of their choice from the shop?

Head on over to the Pollycraft Challenge blog to check out the details of the challenge and to see my teamies' fabulous creations!

Here's my card using Celeste Amberglow - Heartstrings:
The papers are all from the Cosmo Cricket Tea for Two range.  The ribbon and twine are from The Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is a sticker from SRM.  I have coloured Celeste with copics (see details below).    I had a bit of trouble with her face... I think that either my E00 is running low on ink or my E11 was dirty... will have to sort that out, but I am waiting for a delivery of re-inkers.  I am also currently trying to convince my poor husband that I need to complete my set of copics... only 68 to go (not including the fluoros, but I can't think of a use for them)!

Here's a close-up:

And here are the copics I used:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
The Squirrel and the Fox: One for the girls
Two Sisters Challenge: Make it girlie
CES Challenges (Final Challenge): Anything Goes

Good morning!  It's Monday!  You knew that though right?  You're probably at work like me, but Monday blues can't get me down today.  I'm excited because my sister in law and her husband and sweet baby girl are coming to visit us here in Greece tomorrow!  Yay!  I have lots of housework to do, but it's for a great cause!

Anyone looking for the winner of my 100 follower blog candy giveaway will have to wait a bit longer... I'll be back tonight to post that (once the house is clean and the pantry is stocked).

Thanks so much to all who joined in our sketch challenge at Pollycraft last week!  I promise I will be back around to comment on my share of the entries later tonight (I'm a bit behind this week)!  Our challenge for you today at Pollycraft Monday chosen by the lovely Lynsey is to make a Card and a matching Tag!   Head on over to the challenge blog to check out my teamies' fabulous creations!

Here's my card and tag using Celeste Amberglow - Owl Always Love You:

The papers are from Authentique and the seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.  The bling is by Prima and the brad is from Crate Paper.  The sentiment is from Amy R Summer Sentiments.  I coloured both images at the same time with copics (shoes on one, shoes on the other etc...).  I think they turned out pretty similar!

A Pollycraft Sketch!

Good Monday morning people!  It was my turn to choose the challenge theme this week at Pollycraft Monday and I decided to go with a sketch!   Before I show you the sketch though, I just wanted to say thanks for all the lovely entries into Anita's Cute Critters Challenge last week!  There was a lot of super cuteness!  We'll be back soon to announce the winners and top 3!

Here's my sketch for this week (thanks Paula for prettifying it up for me!):

As with our usual sketch challenges, you don't have to stick to the sketch completely... you can embellish as you wish, just make sure we can recognise the sketch in your entry.

The lucky winner of this challenge will receive 10 Pollycraft digis of their choice from the store!  What an awesome prize!

Did you know that our top 3 favourites using a Pollycraft image also win a Pollycraft image of their choice?     And Paula released 12 gorgeous new images last week!  And there's also a promotion running in the store until 29th April!!!

Don't forget to hop over to the Pollycraft Monday blog to check out what my fabulous teamies have done with the sketch!

The papers are from Simple Stories and Crate Paper and the sentiment is a sticker from SRM.  The bling is from Prima and I have added Stickles to the star on his shirt and Glossy Accents to his eyes and balloon.  Simples!

It's time for a new challenge at Pollycraft Monday!  This week it was the sweet Anita's turn to pick a challenge theme and she chose...

Cute Critters (or cute animals)
