Fall Fun at Some Odd Girl

Hello There!  This week we are showcasing some fun new clear stamp releases at Some Odd Girl and today's set is a fun Fall set that has Tobie and Tia and Mae in it!  Check out the fabulous fall samples on the SOG blog from my bloggin' buddies!

I just love Kristy's new images!  They're gorgeous and so much fun to colour!   I have coloured these with copics and used papers from my stash (Crate Paper, October Afternoon etc..).  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charms are from my stash.

Lovely Ladies at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!

Good morning!  It's a lovely morning here in Athens... not too hot yet!  The water temperature is still quite low here... (only 23 degrees C) and the summer hasn't properly kicked off, but it's definitely coming!


If you've been keeping up with the Little Miss Muffet Stamps news you will know we have some excitement to share today!  We not only have some gorgeous new digital girls from Barbara and the fabulous Park Glen Door die being released, we also have an announcement!

You've heard rumors that Pollycraft is closing down but the good news that you haven't heard is Pollycraft isn't disappearing!!  Paula has teamed up with Barbara and now some of your favorite characters will be appearing at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  There are even 2 NEW images that are being released today - Swings 'n Slides Butterflies and Luna Bitterfrost Birthdays Rock!!  Now that rocks!

Angel Accessories

Good morning!  I hope it is (or was) a lovely morning where you are!  It's a bit grey and blah here in Athens this morning, but still warm.  It seems that the nasty hayfever season is in full swing here!  

If you have the Little Miss Muffet Stamps News Badge on your blog you will know that we have New Releases being showcased today over at the Little Miss Muffet Stamps blog!  It's a bit of a nature release this week... we have animals, angel accessories and a new baby to show you.  Head over to the challenge blog to check out the fabulous samples from the Design Team!

I decided to use the new Angel Accessories for my card today:

I used my rubber stamp version of Jasmine and printed the angel wings and the cloud separately.  I fussy cut all of them and stuck them down where I wanted them.  The papers are a mixture... the only one I recognise is the pink one from Crate Paper.  The bling is by Prima and the ribbon (and probably the lace as well) is from The Ribbon Girl.  The sentiment is an SRM sticker.

Welcome to the Wild Wild West!

Good morning!  It's new release time over at Little Miss Muffet Stamps and boy is it a doozie!  Barbara has taken the Sugar n Spice dolls on a trip to the Wild West and they were so inspired that they decided to do a theatre production... They are all dressed up as Legends of the West!  They are all absolutely adorable... head on over to the Little Miss Muffet Stamps challenge blog to check out the awesome cards by the DT!   For my card I chose Sage as Annie Oakley as I loved the production of 'Annie Get Your Gun' when I was young!

The papers are all from the Sasparilla collection from October Afternoon.  The stickers are also from there. I coloured Sage with copics (see details below).  I added Stickles to her stars and Glossy Accents to her glasses.  I must say I was pretty stoked to find an actual Annie Oakley quote amongst my sticker stash!

Mushroom Fairy!

Hello!  Good evening!  I'm late again for my Fairy post today!!!  Next time I'll get the time zone conversions right I promise!

Well today we are showcasing the last of Kristy's new Fairies (get yours HERE) and I must say this one is totally adorable, but then I say that about all of them!    Head over to the Some Odd Girl blog to find out how you can win today's Mushroom fairy digi and check out the fabulous cards from the DT!

Here's mine:

I used a mix of paper from my stash, some October Afternoon, Crate Paper and I think My Little Shoebox.  The Beautiful Day banner is a punch out piece from Pink Paisley.  The ribbon and twine is from The Ribbon Girl and the cute little mushroom charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda.  The sentiment is a sticker from SRM.

I coloured the adorable Miss Mushroom Fairy with copics (see details below) and added Stickles to her wings.  I'm trying to get more depth in my skin tones lately... it's so hard!  I'm always worried I'm going to overdo it, and I'm having a bit of trouble with my paper not accepting all the layers of ink.  I think it might be time to do a bit of paper research.  I have some Cryogen on its way to me and I quite like X-Press it.  I will have to do a side by side comparison.  I also realised after I had already coloured her shroom hat that I had chosen the light source coming from a difficult direction, so  I struggled a bit with her nose...

Giggle!

Good evening!  I'm back for my second post of the day!  Over at Some Odd Girl Stamps this week we have some adorable new digital fairies to show you!  Head on over to meet Giggle Fairy today...  the design team have some fantastic creations to share!  I think when Kristy first showed these images to the design team, you could probably hear us squealing with delight all over the world!!!   I am totally in love with all three of these new girlie girl fairies!  Tomorrow we have Dandelion Fairy to show you and on Wednesday you will get to meet Mushroom Fairy!  

Here's my card using Giggle Fairy:

Isn't she adorable?!  I love her!  The papers are a mixture from my stash.  The seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the crochet flower is one I made and the sentiment is a text stamp from Maya Road.  Other than that, the card is pretty simple.    I coloured Giggle with copics (see details below).

Vanilla snuggles

Hiya!  I hope everyone has had a fabulous weekend!  We were lucky enough not to have to work this weekend, so we have had a lovely weekend relaxing at home!

I've got one last card to show you from the New Rubber Releases this week at Little Miss Muffet Stamps.  The eighteen stamps that were released in rubber this week are retiring in their digital forms at 8pm US Central Time tonight.

Hello!  Welcome back to day 2 of our rubber stamp releases at Little Miss Muffet Stamps!  I am so excited to have some of my favourite LMM digis in rubber now!    Did you  know that if you leave a comment on the Challenge blog today you could win the rubber version of Rosemary along with the rubber Sugar 'n Spice sentiment?  Head over there now!

I actually made two cards for today's release, but I'm going to put them in two separate posts as I find it a bit confusing otherwise, so expect another post from me on Sunday.
