A wee fairy

Hello!  We are once again anchored in Mykonos rocking and rolling around in all the swell created by the many boats passing by.  The kids went out last night and only went to bed at 7.30am, so we are not likely to see any sign of them until much later this afternoon.  In the meantime we are all tip-toeing around trying to be as quiet as possible while we go about our duties.

Anyway... I thought I would take a break and post this card I made a few months ago for a Lilypad Lucy's Lovely Lines sketch but didn't post in time to enter it.

The image is from Lili of the Valley.  I think she's supposed to be a fairy, but I think she could be just a little girl having some fun and playing fairy dress ups.  Don't you love her pink wig?  I think she probably stole that from her Granny's closet.

I have coloured the image with copics (see details below) and added Stickles.  The main background paper is from Crate Paper.  The sentiment is a rub on.

I really loved this sketch... Lucy's cards are always so lovely and clean and simple and beautiful.  I think I will definitely use it again.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Finally a boy card!

I have finally made a boy card, but I see it still has a lot of red in it... oops.

This one is for the current Lili of the Valley challenge (#102) which is a sketch:

Here is my card:

How cute is this wee boy from Lili of the Valley?!  I think he's gorgeous.  I have coloured him with copics (see details below).  The papers are mainly from Cosmo Cricket and the sentiment stamp is from Lili of the Valley.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

Colouring Yellow

I coloured up this little bear from Lili of the Valley on the weekend and tried to use mostly yellow copics on the image for Challenge 50 at Copic Creations.    I must say I do love to stamp with LOTV images as the quality of the stamps is so good they stamp perfectly every time and the images are just gorgeous!

Not too hard a challenge as I tend to use some version of yellow in virtually all my colouring be it yellow/red, yellow/green or pure yellow.  I wrote happy birthday on the letter with a copic multiliner and added Stickles to the butterflies and Glossy Accents to the centre of the flower.

The papers are from October Afternoon and the ribbon is from my stash (actually I stole it from my hubby's birthday present wrapping).

Here are the copics I used:

Happy Monday!  We are minutes away from departing Italy for Greece at present.  Just waiting to cast off.  Great weather today, so we are expecting a very smooth trip for once.  Yay!

Ciao!

Babies galore!

I had a few baby cards to make in NZ for a friend of mine who commissioned them for all her friends who are pregnant now.  Here is one of them:

The papers are from October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket and the image and sentiment are from Lili of the Valley.  I inked around the image with Tim Holtz distress inks in Mustard while it was still in the Spellbinders frame.  The image is coloured with copics (see below).  I tried to keep it neutral coloured as we are not sure if it is going to be for a boy or a girl yet.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Baby Bud Designs - Punches and Dies
By the Cute and Girly - Anything Goes

Here are the copics I used:

The Lili of the Valley stamps are so sweet and so much fun to colour... I find them really relaxing!  I used one of the newer stamps to make a Clean and Simple friendship card to enter into the Creative CAS March challenge.

Here is my card:
