Thank you

Hello!  It's Tuesday!  Yes, I'm sure you knew that already, but I just have to remind myself sometimes.  Tonight I am cooking at the boss's house for a manly dinner... want to know what they are having?

Well I'll tell you anyway...

For nibbles they will have mini leek and mushroom tarts and crostini with smoked salmon, cream cheese and lime and crostini with sugar cured beef, goat's cheese and red onion relish.
For a starter they are having peking duck pancakes
For their main course they are having slow cooked lamb shanks served with creamy truffle mashed potato and a medley of roasted vegetables
For their dessert they are having individual pavlovas with fresh fruit, whipped cream and icecream.

Now, on to more crafty things.  Sadly today is my last day as a design team member for Karber Digital stamps.  I have really enjoyed playing with their fun and super cute images and I'm definitely going to get a lot of use out them.

I hope you get a chance to check out the Karber Digital blog.  I love my teamie Kelly's cards!

Here is my last card for Karber Digital... sniff sniff...

This image is a slightly different style from the other ones I chose to work with, but I really like it.  It's a quick and easy colour and is great for an any occasion card.  The image is called Birds.  The papers are a mixture from my stash, but I can spot Bo Bunny and Crate Paper in there.  I coloured the image with copics and inked the edges with Distress inks, first in yellow and then in green.  The sentiment is a rub on from Pebbles and the tag is cut with my Slice machine.  The layout was inspired by the November SFYTT from I{heart}2stamp.

I would like to enter this into the following challenges:
I{heart}2stamp: November SFYTT
House of Gilli #21: Flourishes
iCopic Lover #57: Thanksgiving

Christmas Wishes

Good morning!  It's another chilly grey morning here.... winter is definitely here in Athens already!  I'm sure I remember our previous Novembers being much milder than this!

I have another cute Karber digital stamp to share with you today.  This one is called Elf Gift.  Head over to the Karber blog to check out Kelly's fabulous card for today... I just love the sentiment she used!

Here's my card (using the November sketch at I{heart}2stamp):

The papers are all from Crate Paper (as is the button).  The seam binding ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the sentiment is from LOTV.  I coloured the wee elf with copics (see details below).  Once again I had the hardest time colouring the reds!  I got too much of the dark red in the shadows on the pants and it kept smearing into the lighter areas, so now there is not much light differentiation.  Oh well...

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
I{heart}2stamp: November Sketch
Cards for men #23: Christmas cards
Crafty Boots: Fantasy

Karber Digital cuteness!

Hello All!  It's Tuesday!  I guess you knew that already though... hopefully the week is going well for you!  I think this week has cold weather in store for us... we might actually have to turn on our heating.  BB and I are trying to learn Greek, and it was freezing at our tutor's house last night!  Next week I might have to take my slippers!  We are not getting very far with our learning yet... Greek is hard!

Today I have another cute Karber Digital image to share with you.  This one is called Car Leo and I think he's very handsome!

When I made this card, I was aiming for teal so that I could join in the current challenge at Do You Stack Up, but I'm not too sure if I hit it or not, so I made yesterday's card to enter that challenge as well.
The papers I have used are from October Afternoon, Crate Paper, Bo Bunny and maybe Echo Park????.  The button is from Crate Paper and the felt is from Blooming Felt.  The sentiment is from LOTV and the twine is from The Ribbon Girl.
I added Glossy Accents to Leo's glasses (two layers) and to the car windows (one layer).

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Do You Stack Up #44: Teal
Daisy Doodles Creative Challenges #46: Anything Goes with a digi
Heart Song Inspirations #23: Anything Goes
Incy Wincy Designs #119: Stitching

Since I used an open ended sentiment on the front of the card, I just had to finish it on the inside...

Karber Digital Christmas

Good morning!  It's a lovely bright sunny but crispy feeling autumn morning here in Athens.  We had quite a wintery weekend, but now we are back to the lovely autumn weather (probably until the next weekend).

Okay, so now it's time for another Karber Digital cutie.  This week on the Karber blog we have a new guest designer... Kelly Booth!  Do head on over and check out her gorgeous cards!

For my Karber Digital card today I decided to play with the supercute Rudolph.

How cute is he?!  I added Stickles to his hat and Glossy Accents to his nose and coloured him with copics (see details below).  The papers are mostly from Crate Paper but the circle is from My Mind's Eye.  I had such a hard time choosing papers for this card... it took forever!

I cut the banner  with my Slice and the sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  I have followed the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the charm is from Telford's Direct.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sweet Sketch Wednesday #125:  Sketch
Cards for Men: Animals
The Cutie Pie Challenge #4: Use a charm
Lexi's Creations #52: Charming
Ooh La La Creations #92: Stitching

Here is a close up of Rudolph:

We are just about to sit down to lunch and try out this chicken casserole recipe I stumbled across the other day... I will let you know the verdict tomorrow.

Ciao!

Karber Christmas cutie

Good morning!  Today I have another Karber Digital cutie to share with you.  Meet Christmas Leslie!  This image makes me smile every time I look at it!

Christmas Leslie was so much fun to colour!  The papers I have used are a mixture from October Afternoon, Cosmo Cricket, Crate Paper and Echo Park.  The charm is from The Secret Garden on Da Wanda.  The ribbon is from my stash.  The crystal is by Maya Road and the Swirly Bling is by Prima.  I have coloured Leslie with copics and added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  The sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  I cut the circles using my Slice machine.  I added Stickles to the snow on the tree.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Diecut Dreams #101: So charming
Ooh La La Creations #91: Let it Snow
Christmas Inspirations #35: Diecuts and Punches (I hope the circles count)

Karber Birthday cutie

Good morning again!  It's Tuesday today and things are shaping up to be pretty bad in Greece this week, so we are going to stock up on petrol and groceries today while the supermarkets and petrol stations are still open.  At the moment rubbish is piled up on the streets outside as the rubbish has not been collected for 3 weeks!  Hopefully that will get sorted out soon as I hear private contractors have been hired to remove the rubbish.

Today I have a card to share showcasing another Karber Digital cutie.  She is called Gift Millie.  I think she's adorable!

I seem to have a theme going lately with red and blue/green!  The papers I have used here are from Crate Paper.  I have had the background piece cut for a while (I cut it with my Spellbinders last time I was home).  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and the crystal is from Maya Road.  I have added Glossy Accent's to Millie's eyes.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Make it Monday #59: Anything Goes
The Squirrel and the Fox #3: One for the Girls

Karber Digital - Moon Love

Good morning!  It's a somewhat cold morning here in Athens... 14 degrees C when we got up!  It's almost like a switch has been flipped and summer is all over.  Yesterday we even had hail!

Anyway, this is a quick post from me... I thought we had a day off work today, but I thought wrong it seems.

This week for my Karber Digital card, I decided to use one of the beautiful Silhouette images.  This one is called
Moon Love.

Here's my card:

I have inked the background with two different Distress Ink blues and distressed the edges of the circle.  The papers are from My Mind's Eye, October Afternoon and Cosmo Cricket (and one other... not sure who).  The tag is cut with my Slice Elite and the charm is from Da Wanda.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl.

That's all from me for right now...

Have a lovely day!

In the Naughty Corner....

Hello!  I've put myself in the naughty corner today because I'm super late posting my Karber Digital card for this week and I'm going to be late getting my card for Little Miss Muffet stamps new releases ready too!  I think my mojo must be packed up in a box still in our study/craft area... hopefully I will unpack it tonight!

I can't believe how long it takes to fit lights and curtain rails and assemble Ikea furniture!  Not to mention the dreaded actual shopping at Ikea!  I must admit though I was very impressed with their delivery service (when there is no strike action on in Greece).  We shopped on Monday evening (which was a great time to go there... not too busy) and the big stuff we bought was delivered to our front door and into our elevator the very next day!  Anyway, our house is starting to look liveable now, so that's good.  Tonight we are assembling my new craft desk and the spare bed and hopefully fitting some curtain rails and lights in our bedroom.

Here is my Karber Digital card for the Karber blog this week...

Tee hee!  Isn't she cute?!  This is Vampire Costume Jenny and she would be perfect for Halloween, but unfortunately we don't celebrate Halloween, so I decided to use her for a "Fank you" card instead.  The paper is frommmm ummmm... Echo Park?  Maybe?   I crocheted the week flower and the seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl.  The label sticker is by October Afternoon (ooh did you see they have a new collection out now? Yummy!).

Here is a close up of Jenny:

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:

Karber Digital - Computer Leo

Hello... did you miss me?  We were moving Monday and Tuesday this week and now that we are in our new apartment we have no internet.  Since this is Greece and it's going to take some time to get our contract transferred.

Anyway... to cut a long story short, here is my very late card for Karber Digital this week...

This gorgeously geeky wee boy is Computer Leo and this card is for a Computer Geek friend of ours.  The papers are from October Afternoon (as are the sentiment stickers).  I have coloured Leo with copics (see details below) and added Glossy Accents to his glasses.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Sketch Saturday #174: Sketch
Digistamps 4 joy #28: Anything Goes
Ruby's Rainbow #13: For the boys

There's a rocket in my pocket!

Have you every heard that poem?  I was in a kid's book I used to love as a child and I have never forgotten it (even though it is completely irrelevant to me since I am not American)...  It goes something like this...

There's a rocket in my pocket
I cannot stop to play
Away it goes
I've burn't my toes
It's Independence Day!

Anyway, that's how I feel at the moment... a little bit stressed, a little bit behind and like I just don't have time to thnk!

So yesterday was Karber Digital day and I have a card, but I wanted to fix the photograph as I accidentally took it on the wrong resolution setting and it looked bad.

For today's card I decided to use Coffee Leslie.  I think Leslie is one of my favourite Karber characters.

The papers I used are from October Afternoon and Crate Paper and the journalling tag is from Maya Road.  The flower I crocheted.  The ribbon is from The Ribbon Girl and I inked the edges of the pic with Distress Inks in Walnut.  I added Glossy Accents to her glasses.  I do so love my Glossy Accents!

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Kaboodle Doodles #85: Lots of Layers
Incy Wincy Designs #112: Distressing
Get Hippity with Ippity: Buttons, bows, or bling

Here's a close-up of Leslie:

Happy Tuesday!  I'm just about to get my make-up on and head off to the boss's house to cater for a dinner party they are having.

Karber Digital Silhouettes...

Yikes... I'm late for my Karber Digital post!  Today I have a different kind of image from Karber Digital to share with you... a silhouette.

Isn't this little girl gorgeous?!  It's amazing how much detail is shown with just with a silhouette!  I thought this stamp would be so versatile!  You could print it in a different colour (like a light blue or a brown or something) for a softer look too.

The papers are from Prima (I think) and the flower shapes I cut with my Slice machine.  I coloured the yellow around the little girl with copics (Y00, Y11, Y15 and Y17).  The seam binding is from The Ribbon Girl and the swirly bling is by Prima.  I have inked the edges of the image with Distress inks in various shades of blue.

I would like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Crafty Boots Challenges #1: Anything Goes
Crafting When we Can #1: Do it your own way
I Did it Creations #72: Anything Goes (they are offering a FREEBIE to use in this challenge)
Allsorts Challenge #120: Flowers and swirls
Catch the Bug Challenge: Diecuts and punches

Well that's all from me... Pop over to the Karber Digital blog and check out the cuteness from the rest of the Design Team!
