Tubby Thursday

Last week, I forgot to post that I lost half a pound. Frankly, that was a miracle and I did not deserve it. This week, I have eaten even MORE and have been ill, so things look really bad for weigh-in tomorrow. I have to go and weigh though as we have a stand-in Leader this week, and one of our clerks is at a wedding. There will only be me and the shop sales clerk there to help the stand-in and I would never let my normal Leader down in that way.
Weighing-in will also give me the kick up the bum that I currently need. I have fallen off the wagon and need to get motivated again. What with one thing and another, I have not been to the gym for two weeks...I am thoroughly ashamed of myself.
New start from tomorrow - at least I haven't raided Max's easter eggs!

Tubby Tuesday

Weigh-in was this morning. I had lost 2.5lbs after all that worrying. So, I am half a pound off my 10% key-ring (whoop whoop!) and nearly a third of the way to goal. Still a long way to go - think tortoise rather than hare - but good nonetheless.
When I get to 2 stone, I may even post another full-length photo. Lots of people who haven't seen me for a while are commenting on how different I look, which always makes me feel good. I had a personal trainer session at the gym yesterday (courtesy of three lovely friends) and even he commented that I 'look well' after not seeing me for three months. He bloomin' nearly killed me but I'll let him off just this once! I managed to do some running too, which is what I really want to be able to do. I have the Race For Life in my sights next year...

Weight Loss

1.5 pounds this week. I was a bit disappointed because I had followed the plan to the letter and exercised a fair bit. Anyway, it is a loss and I have lost nearly half a stone in two weeks. I walked into town (3 miles) today and did an hour at the gym, which should help towards next week's weigh-in.
I feel fitter and I CAN notice little changes in my body. I must keep looking at the positives rather than thinking I need to lose more each week.
