MCT 82nd New Release Sneak Day 3

Good Morning everyone and welcome back to Day 3 of sneaks for the 82nd New Release from My Creative Time!! We have another AWESOME die to showcase today!! Introducing the.... Witch Hat Topper Die and here is my inspiration using this die!
How fun is this new die!!
Talk about whipping up some quick treats for Halloween!
To make my treat, I used the new Witch Hat Topper and die cut it with back cardstock. The extra pieces were die cut using some pattern designer paper for alittle pop of color!
The sentiment is from the set Trick or Treat and fit perfectly heat embossed onto the hat!
A small bag filled with some kisses and topped with the Hat makes a sweet Halloween Treat!

I Break for Bats! {Trendy Twine DT project}

Good Morning Everyone!
I am up on the Trendy Twine blog today!!!
Can you believe Halloween is just around the corner?? Time to start thinking about whipping up those treats for class parties and your trick or treaters.

Today's project is perfect for that using my featured products of the month
To make these treats, I used the Skinny Candy Bags and filled them with some purple, white and black chocolate jewels. 25 fit in each bag perfectly! I then used my Silhouette and cut out a cute bat. I eliminated the eyes so I could add some fun googly eyes and stapled the tops of the candy bags onto the belly of the bat.
Next I went ahead and scored the wings so I could fold them over to give the look that they were holding onto my sentiment as well as act as a cover to hid the staple holding the candy onto the bat. The sentiment (from My Creative Time~Trick or Treat set) was stamped onto to banner die from My Creative Time's Just Simply Live set. I added eyelets to each side of the banner then threaded the gorgeous Grape Licorice through to tie a bow onto each side.
Super cute and so much fun to make!!!!

Here is what I used from Annie's Paper Boutique:

Halloween Grape Licorice Trendy Twine - Purple & Black
25 Skinny Candy Bags - 1x8 Clear Bags

MCT Tag it Tuesday.....Halloween Sour Cream Container

Good Morning and welcome to
Tag it Tuesday w/ My Creative Time!!
Halloween is fast approaching and for today's project I wanted to make something that could be mass produced easily for my son to hand out this year to his teachers.
It has been a long time since I have made these adorable sour cream containers and when I say these are easy and quick to make....well in no time you can have tons done!! Some cute designer paper like the one I used from Bella Blvd and some sweet treats to fill these up with....perfect!
To make these I started with a piece of designer paper cut at 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 and followed the directions HERE to put them together.
To make the tag, I started by die cutting the new Holiday Tags circle and matching layer tag. Then stamping my sentiment...using the Trick or Treat stamp set..the sentiment fits perfectly into the center! To spookify my treat...LOL..I added the fun die cut spider web and matching spider from the Wicked Fun Dies set. Putting this all together was quite simple. I took the bottom tag layer and added the spider web to come over the side of the tag. Next I popped up the sentiment circle and added some enamel dots in coordinating colors to match the designer paper. Finally I popped up my spider and colored him in with my Wink of Stella to give him some sparkle.
Tied all together onto the sour cream container with some Trendy Twine.

My Creative Time Products Used:
Holiday Tags Stamps & Dies
Wicked Fun Dies
Trick or Treat

Additional Products Used:
Totally Orange Trendy Twine
Bella Blvd~ Halloween Magic designer paper
Wink of Stella
