Celebrate You....{MCT Birthday Palooza}

  Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!
Today I am sharing a fall themed birthday card using some of the newly released MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
For my card today I went with a fall theme generic birthday card. I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and my designer paper die cut using the Rectangular Frame Dies and Layers set.
Next for the focal point I used the newly released 3" Circle Card Dies for the large kraft circle and layered some of the new Fall Leaf dies in the matching designer paper. I attached them to the circle die cut, popping up some of the blue and orange leaves for some extra dimension.
For the sentiment, I used the Strip Sentiment Dies and the Big Word Sentiments which were stamped and popped up onto the circle die cut.
The whole circle focal point was then popped up onto the front of the card and further embellished with a hemp twine bow and some wooden enamel dots.

  Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!
Today I am sharing a fun shaker birthday card using some of the newly released MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
 To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and a top layer of adorable pumpkin designer paper.
I used the new Pumpkin Treat Topper Die to make the shaker part of the card and filled the inside with some holiday orange sequin mixes.
I added the eyes to the top of the shaker pumpkin, the stem as well and those cute leaves from the Pumpkin Lollipop Holiday Die set.
For the sentiment, I used the Gift Card Greetings set for the banners and the "happy birthday" saying and grabbed the "pumpkin" for part of a sentiment from the Teeny Tag Holidays set.
I added both banners to the bottom of the pumpkin to complete my Fall/Holiday inspired birthday card.

The super cute cupcake is from the Mini Lolly Add On set and was stamped and colored with my copics. Once completed I popped it up onto the front of the Milk Treat Die using some foam dots.
For the sentiment I used the Celebration Tags set and added that to the top of the treat.
A cute mini clothes pin to keep my treat box closed finished my project :)

It's your day...Let's Celebrate ...... {MCT Birthday Palooza}

 Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!
Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using some of my favorite MCT stamps and dies.

Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....

Mixing old and new MCT products can bring a whole new life to these awesome stamps and dies!

For my project today I used the new Fancy Gift Card Holder Die and paired it with some older MCT stamps and dies.
Once I had the gift card holder cut out, along with the designer paper layer, I used the Celebration Tags set for the adorable cupcake and sentiment. Each layer die cut in coordinating designer paper and cardstock.
I popped the cupcake up onto the front of the gift card holder and added the sentiment banner over top top of the cupcake.
I wanted to add another sentiment to the top of the gift card, so I used a stamp from the Especially For You set. A perfect fit too!

Espressily for you!...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

 Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!
Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using some of the older MCT stamps and dies along with the new Torn Paper Frame Layers and Torn Paper Frames :)
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
For my card today I made a shaker, something I haven't made in a LONG time and forgot how fun these interactive cards are. I made this one for my son's girlfriends birthday this coming weekend to add to her coffee themed birthday gift. I sure hope she loves it!
Anyways to make my card I started with a black cardstock base and then using the Just Brew It set I stamped the coffee cups randomly onto a piece of white cardstock. Using my copic markers I colored in the sleeves to each cup and die cut the whole finished piece using the newly released Torn Paper Frame Layers. I also used a smaller die from the same set to make my window.
Inside the window and for the shaker part, I added colored sequins in a pretty pale pink, black and pale green, sealing the window up with some acetate sheets.
I popped the shaker up onto the card base, adding a matching colored twine bow around the top.
For the sentiment, I used again both the Torn Paper Frame and Layers sets and stamp from Just Brew It which was added to the card front.
I stamped and colored one more coffee cup and die cut that so I could add it to the center of the window, adding additional details to the cup with the cute sentiment and die cut in a pale green.
Some finishing touches of random sequins finished my card!

Today I am sharing a fun birthday card using some of the older MCT stamps and dies
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then a layer of pretty designer paper from American Crafts.
Next I die cut a square out of the center of my card layers where I ended up placing a clear acetate sheet to make a window in my card.
Using the adorable cloud dies, I added those to the top of the window, lining them up inside the square.
Using the balloon dies, I added 2, popped up onto the front of my card using matching designer paper.
With some matching twine, I added bows to both balloons.
Finally for the sentiment, I used the a Strip sentiment die and the stamp from the Especially for you set. The sentiment was then popped up onto the balloon.
A few random enamel dots and my card is complete.

Wish Big!...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good Morning and welcome to another
My Creative Time Birthday Palooza post day!
Today I am sharing a fun birthday card/gift card holder project that is perfect for alittle birthday celebration.
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
I just LOVE the Mailbox Gift Card Holder Die to make a gift card/card for any holiday gift. So much so that I have used it to make several different projects since Miss Emma released it! (You can see my other projects using this die HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, & HERE )
For my project today I used the Mailbox Gift Card Holder Die to make a flip top opening card where my birthday message can be written inside and added the mailbox details to the front of the card to hold my birthday giftcard.
To make my project I used kraft cardstock for the base and added designer paper from My Minds Eye~ Lime Twist for the layers.
The sentiment, along with the birthday candle are from the Make A Wish set which unfortunitely is currently out of stock~ im sorry :(
For alittle extra birthday details, I did add a natural hemp bow around the candle which is popped up onto the front of the card too.
This card, which is along the masculine side can be make using the same design but just switching up the cardstock pattern paper to make it more girly. It was very easy to make and assemble which is something I just LOVE about this die as well!!

So there is my completed card. I hope you like it!!

Have a SUPER Birthday!....{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
MCT Birthday Palooza post!
Today I have a fun birthday card to share that I made for my son who will be 17 tomorrow!
During our stay at home these past few weeks we made it a point to watch EVERY Marvel movie in order. Every night we would watch the next in line and we just finished all of them.
We both LOVE the first Captain America movie so this is a perfect card to celebrate his birthday!
Take a look at my card and let me know what you think :)
To make my card I started with a kraft cardstock base, added a layer of white cardstock and then a layer of red/white & blue designer paper die cut with the Stitched Rectangular Frame Die.
Using the More Chunky Tag Dies and the Have a Super Day stamp set, I added the sentiment flag to the top of the card.
For my Captain America shield I used the More Stitched Circle Dies as well as the Bunch of Fun Circle Dies and layered red and white and blue cardstock to make the shield.
Captain America's shield also needed a star in the center so I grabbed the Date Night set and die cut the star in white cardstock.
Once the shield was assembled, I popped it up onto the card, placing it off center to the sentiment.
A fun, masculine card for my super hero loving 17 year old!

HB....{Birthday Palooza}

Good morning everyone and welcome to another
MCT Birthday Palooza post!
Today I have a fun gift card/birthday card to share using one of my new FAVORITE MCT dies, the Mailbox Gift Card Holder!
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think :)
I LOVE taking the Mailbox Gift Card Holder and turning it onto a card as well. It holds my gift card on the outside and has a spot inside for my message.
To make my project, I started with a kraft cardstock base which I folded in half and die cut with the base of the gift card holder. I then decorated the outside of the gift card with designer paper from Echo Park, the HB using the new ABC dies and the sentiment from the Especially For You set.
Some matching enamel dots completed my card/gift card holder!

So I hope you have enjoyed my project! As always I appreciate you stopping by for MCT's Birthday Palooza

Happy Happy Happy...Birthday {MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog!
I have a Birthday Palooza post to share today for My Creative Time.
You can never have too many birthday cards in your stash and this card is so easy to make using MCT stamps and dies.
Take a look and let me know what you think...
I pulled out an older MCT set today for this card~ Happy Thoughts ~which I think is now retired :(
I die cut the "happy" sentiment 5 times in a rainbow color combo of cardstock and then attached them to the front of my card mat in a diagonal pattern.
For the "birthday" sentiment, I used the same Happy Thoughts set and stamped it onto the smallest of the Strip Sentiment Dies
A hemp twine bow around the whole card mat completed my birthday card!

I apoligize for making a card using a retired stamp/die set, I try really hard to pull all of the older sets no longer available on the MCT website but this one must have slipped by.

Happy Birthday!...{MCT Birthday Palooza}

Good morning everyone and thanks for stopping by my blog!

I have a Birthday Palooza post to share today for My Creative Time using the newly released Money Envelope Die.
Take a look at my project and let me know what you think....
If you haven't picked up the new release yet, what are you waiting for??
This money envelope die is awesome and the possibilities for decorating it are endless!
For the MCT release week I made a Christmas inspired project that you can check out HERE. Changing gears for todays post I have a birthday inspired envelope.
To make my project I used a fun pattern paper that I had in my stash. Seeing that kids love to get money and making manly projects are always on the more difficult side, I use the red white and blue paper for my masculine envelope.
I used the "happy birthday" sentiment die that comes with the set and die cut it using matching blue cardstock.
That adorable birthday hat die came from the Party Hat Dies set. I cut the base in the matching blue cardstock and added the stripes in red and white. The topper for the hat was also die cut in red cardstock.
I "closed" up the envelope die with some white Trendy Twine and then added some random enamel dots in white and red for alittle extra embellishing.
An awesome way to give a money gift for the birthday recipient.

So there is my completed project. I hope you like it!!
