My Creative Time 32nd New Release Blog Hop

Good Morning and Welcome to the much anticipated 32nd New Release from
My Creative Time!

This week has been so much fun with the DT sharing amazing projects and inspiration! But we have one more day of AWESOME~NESS!

You should be coming from the VERY talented
Candace
but if you are just stopping in, make sure to head back to the start~ the AMAZING
Emma
You are not going to want to miss a thing!

For my project today, I used 2 of the new sets~ Hey Sailor! and the matching Anchors & Heart Dies and paired them up with some of my favorite other dies to make this adorable 3D boat. I really hope you like it!
(it is picture heavy so enjoy all the angles...LOL!)
Alittle background on this....My inlaws have a summer home on the lake which we love spending time at. They have this older fishing boat that my husband grew up on and has been in the family for many many years. Hours upon hours are spent on this boat fishing so when I saw some of the sentiments from the new Hey Sailor! stamp set, I knew that making something for the cottage would be a perfect. So I give you the boat~ rightly called the "Queen"
Isn't it so fun? I used a file from SVG Cutting Files~ Fishing Boat Container for the boat and then added my embellishments using of course all my MCT goodies!!! I will take you step by step to share it with you.
Our boat at the lake is named the "Queen" and it is an aluminum one so I used some designer paper from Doodlebug Designs~Patriotic Parade and die cut the name using the Lowercase Fun Dies.
Here is one of the new sentiments from the Hey Sailor! stamp set and I stamped it onto the Vintage Stitched Label Die banner.
Another sentiment also from the new Hey Sailor! stamp set and again I made the flag using the Vintage Stitched Label Die banner. Attaching it to a fun decorative straw that I picked up at Michaels.
Here is one of the new dies from the Anchor & Heart Dies set. I die cut it using white card stock and then stamped the matching stripes using some Tim Holtz Distress ink. I added a smaller heart die from the Stitched Sweetheart & XOXO Dies in navy cardstock and then added a thick hemp rope bow.
Finally I added one of my FAVORITE new dies~ the larger of the two anchors from the Anchor & Heart Dies to the side of my boat, wrapping more of the hemp rope around it. It is such a GREAT size and so much fun to use!

So there is my project...what do you think? I really hope you like it, I had so much fun putting it together!

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 4

Good Morning and
Welcome to Day 4 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 32nd Release!
Today is the last day of sneaks before tomorrow's blog hop and release!!
I know you are all super excited for that!!!!!

Today we are showcasing the new sets~
Live Love Laugh & Be Happy,  Pretty Butterflies Dragonfly dies, and Social Media dies

For today's project I made a home decor project, something that I will set on my crafty desk because...well the sentiment is just PERFECT! I hope you like it!
On one of my trips to Michael's I found this adorable chalkboard easel in the dollar bin. I picked it up not knowing what I would use it for but knowing eventually it would come in handy. I really love the way this turned out and like I said above the sentiment is just PERFECT...definitely words to live by :)

Using the sentiment from the Live Love Laugh & Be Happy set, I stamped it onto the center of my chalkboard using some colorbox ink. Before stamping it, I took some chalk and rubbed it onto the chalkboard, wiping it off so it gave the chalkboard a worn look. The ink has that chalkboard look and the sentiment looks AMAZING on it...don't you think?

Then for the butterflies, I used 2 of the new dies from the Pretty Butterflies Dragonfly dies and cut them using some Lawn Fawn designer paper. Using the matching stamps for the dies, I stamped a pattern onto both butterflies using some Tim Holtz distress ink in colors that matched the designer papers.
Some added bling to the butterflies and to the frame of the chalkboard and my project was ready to be displayed on my desk!

***Sneak Peek giveaway!***
We will be giving away the sets we are showcasing each day to ONE lucky winner! For example, the set we are showcasing on Wednesday, Emma will announce the winner of that on Thursday & the sets we are showcasing on Thursday, Emma will announce that winner on Friday in her video!

Good Morning and
Welcome to Day 3 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 32nd Release!
Isn't this new release AWESOME so far????? Well there is so much more!!!!!
Today we are showcasing the new sets~
Anchors & Heart Dies, Make a Splash Die, & Hey Sailor

While shopping for papers for this new release, I came across the perfect one for this set~ MME~Now and Then and I knew I just had to use it for the AWESOME anchor die!! It is one of 2 in the new Anchors & Heart Dies set and that anchor is just amazing. I die cut it using some PTI card stock and then popped it up onto my anchor paper. Then for the waves....which are oh so fun...I used again some PTI card stock and the Make a Splash Die adding it to the bottom of my card.
With some white May Arts jute from Sparkly Sweet Craft Notions I attached my sentiment using a shortened die cut of the Just Simply Live Stamp and Die set and the new Hey Sailor stamp set.

***Sneak Peek giveaway!***

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Day 1

Good Morning and
Welcome to Day 1 of sneaks for the new
My Creative Time 32nd Release!

Today we are sharing projects using
Speech Bubble Sentiments w/die set, Bunch of Fun Circles and the Build a Scripty & Watercolor Background

For my card I use the current sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch

and made this birthday card for my son's best friends little brother.
The birthday boy is turning 10 so I wanted to keep the card fun and colorful so I used papers from Echo Park and the AWESOME new Bunch of Fun Circles dies. I know these dies will be getting TONS of use!!! I just LOVE all the different sizes that Emma has put together for this set! Then for the "hello" die cut and the "birthday boy" sentiment, I used the new Speech Bubble Sentiments w/die set. Finally for a few randomly placed sequins and my card was done.

So what do you think? I know you will all LOVE these new stamps and dies!
 They are so much fun!!

Now onto my project...
You should be coming right from the Peachy Keen Stamps blog
if not, head on back there...you are not going to want to miss anything!

For my hop project I made some Project Life cards. A little background on these first...
Every year the 5th grade class goes on a 3 day 2 night camping trip. This year my youngest will be going and I am so excited that I was chosen as one of the chaperons too!
My husband was able to go with our oldest son and when he came home he told me he wanted to go again with Parker because he had such a great time. I told him sorry...my turn to experience it...LOL! I am excited and I know the hubs is happy for me to be able to experience it with Parker :) So when these stamps came out I knew I wanted to scrap all the fun times we had!
Here is the first set of Project Life cards. One of the highlights of the trip is getting all of the kids together around the campfire to roast marshmallows and tell stories, sing songs and just hang out. I am hoping to get some great pictures of Parker and his friends to put in the open space here. I know I will be making many more pages just for this one part of the trip too :)

So for our final day of sneaks, we are showcasing projects using the new
Burnt Out Camping and Which Way Camping sets
Here is the card I made.....
For my card, I used adorable s'more from the May Stamp of the Month set along with his adorable face from the same set. I paired it up with the sentiment that is from the new Burnt Out Camping set. Such cuteness in all the sets this month!!!
Anyways, I colored the s'more using my copic markers and then added a bit of white gel pen doodles.
All of the papers are from Jillibean Soup~Cold Avocado Soup and of course I couldn't leave out the machine stitching :)
In keeping this card simple, I only embellished using some Totally Natural Trendy Twine.
OMG are these stamps are so much fun to work with!!
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else makes with them!!!

True to their amazing talent, tonight’s team members have knocked it out of the park once again with their creations, so drop by the Peachy Keen Stamps Blog and ENJOY!!

Here is my inspiration for you today. I used the adorable camper from the new
Up a Creek and Camper set
Isn't that camper adorable? I just LOVE the big size and awesome details Kathy added to this image.
For my card, I used the designer paper from Simple Stories~Take a Hike paper pad to piece together the camper. I did add some copic color to the windows and then covered them all with some glossy accents. Looks so cool and so much like the glass on a window.
The sentiment is also from the new set and I added it to the Vintage Stitched Label Die from My Creative Time.
For the scalloped edge of my card, I used the Fun Stitched Edge die from My Creative Time and stitched it to my designer paper.
Added a few enamel dots and my card is complete.

How about a little prize action as well?
Oh YES!  We’ve gotta have prizes!  Just leave a comment here and on all the blogs showcasing projects tonight and be entered for a chance to win the stamp sets being showcased with each comment you leave!  One lucky winner will be chosen from all the comments to win and that winner will be announced in tomorrow’s post!
