Hello Beautiful Card by Amy Voorthuis

3:30 AM 0 Comments
Hi everyone,
I hope you are enjoying your weekend and had a lovely Thanksgiving with your loved ones.
Today I would like to share another card with you all, this time created with Prima Marketing's newest collection "Rossi Belle"! I am totally in love with this collection but it was really hard to get here because is was sold out in a blink and I know why - it's amazingly beautiful.

Hello Beautiful:
For this card I used some of my newest dies to create with such as the B465 - Double Scalloped Border & the cute B488 - Pair of Tickets.  This card was a blessing to make and I am very happy how it turned out. Also I took out my doily dies again for this card and it was really nice to play with them after such a long time.

That lily flower is from the build a flower die range and is such a gorgeous addition to your work because it's really large and easy to put together. If I find time I will show you that in a video as soon as I can.

Cheery Lynn Design dies used:
B264 - Build a Flower #3
A160 - Tropical Flower
B147 - Olive Branches
B838 - Fall Leaves

True Love Never Grows Old 8x8 Layout by Amy Voorthuis

12:30 AM 3 Comments
Good morning lovelies.
Oh boy I am back on the roll making 8x8 layouts again...it's not that hard if you are fortunate enough to work with the prettiest dies, papers and embellishments there are in this market. For this layout I used the pretty "Enchanted Forest"collection by Graphic 45.
It has such beautiful colors and prints on it that you are totally swooned with it the moment you get them in you hands. I really went overboard using so many dies lol, but it was worth it.  At least that's what I think.

True Love Never Grows Old
For this layout I used a lot of layers and I have to say I almost used half of my 8x8 paper pad! I just couldn't stop adding more and more {well I know that's a habit of mine}. The background paper is called brilliant gem and that is my favorite sheet for sure....I sprayed some white spray on it and then added paste using my favorite stencil. Let's have a closer look:

If you know me a little you must know I love metal pieces on my work especially on my layouts...so here I used a bunch of them like the buckle which is amazing to use.  It adds so much to you work.
I distressed all my edges of the paper and moistened & wrinkled my flowers like on my last layout.

 Cheery Lynn Designs dies used:

This is one of the layouts I will use to enter the Graphic 45 Design Team Call this year,
wish me luck!
Thank you so much for visiting the blog today and for the lovely comments you always leave on every design team member posts - we really appreciate them.
If you love the Cheery Lynn Designs dies I used, you could always enter our bi-weekly challenge to win a $20 shopping spree.
This time it's challenge #225 "Anything Goes Theme"- I can't wait to see your work, there are some amazing entries already enjoy creating!

Hi there, this is Eva and I am here with a quick Hello card. This week our challenge is Anything goes, so I created a Hello card.

To start my card I cut a 5.5" square card base out of a cream color card stock.  Then I die cut the largest Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames out of patterned paper and a smaller Horizon Square Boutique Stacker Frames out of cream color card stock to layer on the card front.  Next I die cut a Lords and Commons Circle Doily out of patterned paper and a Tags #1 also out of a patterned paper to layer on top of each other and die cut an Oval out of pink card stock to layer on the Tag die.  Next I die cut the larger Hello out of silver glitter card stock to lay on top of the oval as my center piece.

Then I started working on the floral pieces.  I die cut Judy's Blooms and Medium Rose using patterned paper and built my flowers.  I glued them together and added half pearl in the middle of them.  I also die cut two smaller Leafy Flourish dies out of green card stock and added them to my flowers and finally I die cut one of the birds from the Feathered Friends die to add to my card.

Layered Squares

3:30 AM 2 Comments

Sandy here with you today filling in for Eva.  I wanted to play with my new Stitch and Cut dies and it paired beautifully with my new Square Frames.  I began with a white card stock base, 5 7/8 inches.  I cut the largest of my Square Stitch and Cut die from white card stock, mounted it onto blue and then trimmed a very small edge.  Next came the largest die in the Square Frames set from white card stock.  Love all the swirls on this die set.  Using the middle die from this set, I die cut it from blue.  To make the center white panel, I used the center die from my Royal Scandinavian Doily set.  I love how you can mix and match all the Cheery Lynn dies.

For my flowers, I cut the smallest petals from my Daisy Strip die 4 times, stacking 4 for each flower.  I shaped them with a stylus and an embossing mat.  I used my Flourish #13 die for some greenery.  The last step was to add some pearl accents.

Be sure to visit the join us this week for the Orange and Black challenge for a chance to win a $20 shopping spree.

Hi there, hope you had a great weekend, it's Eva here today sharing a sweet card in honor of our newest challenge, which is using doilies.  Well, I love doilies, regardless what shape they are, so I opted to not use the typical circle shaped doilies.

To start out my card I created a card base using two French Flair Scalloped LG Stackers Nesting dies and adhered them together at the top.  Than I die cut Dutch Scallop Square out of light blue card stock and die cut a square to fit inside of it out of patterned paper.  Than I die cut the larger of the Two of Hearts dies and placed it in the middle of the square.  I die cut the corners from the Royal Scandinavian Tag 2 and placed them in the corners.

I also die cut a Sweet Williams Strip out of blue card stock and created three different size flowers and placed flat pearls in the middle and placed them on the side of the heart doily.  I die cut the smallest of the Pierced Banners and stamped my sentiment on it and added it to my flowers.  Finally I die cut the smaller of the Leafy Flourish out of gold glitter card stock and added it to my flowers.
