Congratulations!
The long weekend (Labor Day weekend in the US) is almost here. What do you have planned? We are driving down to the Los Angeles area to visit my in-laws and celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. So much to do before then!
Here's another card using the Medallion stamp. I loved how Kristina used Perfect Pearls on this stamp. This card is ultra-simple; no layers! I stamped and embossed the image. Added Perfect Pearls and tapped the back-side of the cardstock to get the Perfect Pearls to form a nice dome shape. I added an older medal embellishment from my stash and I was done. Thanks for stopping by!
Card Ingredients
Stamps: Medallion (SU!)
Paper: Cool Carribean (SU! retired)
Ink: VersaMark
Tools: corner rounder (Fiskars)
Other: clear embossing powder, Baby Blue Perfect Pearls, Congratulations embellishment (Making Memories)

Congrats!
Happy Friday, everyone! Kristina gave us a great challenge. We got to choose the 4th color. I chose a tangerine-type color.
I loved the inspiration photo of a bedroom belonging to a designer that works for Nate Berkus. Love his style and hers! The wall and bedding were my biggest inspiration. I finally had a chance to play with my new sewing machine. I've only owned heavy, metal, 30-year old hand-me-down sewing machines that only had a straight stitch. This is my first time playing with other stitches. Fun! My biggest challenge was sewing in a straight line. If anyone has any tips about sewing on cardstock, I'd like to hear them.
For the butterfly, I used my Martha Stewart butterfly punch to punch our a shape from my SU rub-ons. I applied the rub-on to cardstock and then repunched out the image.
Card Ingredients
Stamps: Petals (Inque Boutique)
Paper: Basic Gray, white textured, tangerine scrap (very old piece of paper)
Ink: VersaMark
Other: Martha Stewart butterfly punch, Making Memories Sticker Shimmer Metro Alpha Black, ribbon, Making Memories leather label holder, Singer sewing machine, black thread, dimensionals, SU Eastern Elegance rub-ons, slit punch, clear embossing powder, Tombo glue

Congratulations - AVS02
I love the Verve Asian Flair stamps. I'm embarrased to say I've had them for a month and this was the first time I inked them up. This card was for Julee's Anni-VERVE-sary sketch #2. The card started with the dotted chipboard tag from the $ bin at Target. I messed up some stamping, so I added a butterfly to cover up my mistake.
Card Ingredients
Stamps: Asian Flair (Verve)
Paper: Always Artichoke, Certainly Celery, Soft Sky, Very Vanilla
Ink: VersaMark, Soft Sky
Other: Clear EP, Martha Stewart butterfly punch, chipboard tag (Target), metal tag (Making Memories), scallop square punch, American Crafts ribbon, mini pearls (Michael's), dimensionals

Congrats
This card is for Kristina's Color Inspiration Challenge #13. There was so much pattern on the inspiration bedding, but I tried to keep my design simple.
The colors for this challenge are:
Purely Pomegranate, Regal Rose, River Rock, Wild Wasabi, and Whisper White. I don't have Regal Rose, so I used Rose Romance.
Card Ingredients
Stamps: stamp from a $1 clear set from Michael's
Paper: Purely Pomegranate, River Rock, Wild Wasabi, white textured paper, white glossy Kromekote brayered with Rose Romance
Ink: Rose Romance, Versamark
Other: Making Memories Birthday Velvet Sayings, stripped ribbon (blog candy from Theresa), clear embossing powder, rhinestones (Me and My Big Ideas), Crop-A-Dile (for dry embossing), foam tape

Congrats, Nana!
Oops, I forgot to put an exclamation point on the card's sentiment. I should be packing for our trip tomorrow to Southern CA, but I needed to make a graduation card for our niece, Analisa (aka Nana)..part of the reason for our trip to LA. I knew I didn't want to make a traditional graduation card for her. I have a Springtime set of embellishments from Making Memories that I haven't used at all: brads, stickers, or chipboard.
For Theresa's Use What You Got challenge this week, I opened the set and used the glittered stickers...finally!
Card Ingredients
Paper: blue (CA Paper Goods), designer paper (thanks, Ericka!)
Other: ribbon (American Crafts), Making Memories rhinestone brad, corner rounder
