The HOT HOT HOT Days of Summer

It's been so hot and humid here that we can't stand it.  You will know my children by their hot red faces, just like their Mommy's!  We had a very hot day last week.  I made the boys go out and play in the pool because I was tired of being inside.  It was nice under the shade of our portico.  However, it was so hot that my camera lens fogged up.  The pictures are kinda cool.

We went to the Como Zoo on Friday.  It was HOT, once again, 91ish.  You know how I sweat in the heat - ick.  It was super fun, though.  I went with my neighbor, her 2 girls and niece.  We all packed in the van and had a day of it.  Actually it was just the morning.  The boys were so tuckered out that they slept until 4:30!

Chase and Owen got new pillows from their Aunt and Uncle  They also got a T ball set, which is super fun!

 

 

We were forced to go to the basement last night when the sirens went off, a tornado was on the way, but never came.  While Jeff was upstairs, I entertained the boys in the basement by dressing them in Mr. Potato Head glasses.  Don't they fit Chase well? He wanted them on and was mad if they came off.
