I have used a fabulous digi from Delicious Doodles  Called Horrorscope -Leo and used chalks to colour in the image and distress the edges.

Well maybe mid challenge is slightly out as you only have about  a week to get  your entries in , but here is my project for you today using the freebie 'pretty cow' from bugaboo stamps

Nikki's inspiration Wednesday


Welcome to my Inspiration Wednesday for Chalk N Stock, there is still time to come and join our anything goes March challenge and here is my card


I have used a Spellbinders bark embossing folder for the backing and chalked it with dark brown for a shadowy effect, I have then attached some hessian to the front and an LOTV sentiment stamp


I have used a delicious doodles image called 'Barn owl' and used chalks to colour him

Nikki's Mid challenge inspiration!!

Well we are midway through this months challenge which is sponsored by the fabulous Bugaboo stamps, and it is time for some more chalky inspiration, so here is a card created with K & company papers and coloured in with artistic touches blending chalks!!  Who would have thought those cotton buds would have come in handy for anything other than cleaning your ears!!

Welcome back to another inspiration piece and this week it is a Christmas card.  I have chalked the edge of the image to give it a distressed look and coloured  the gorgeous bugaboo image with pro markers.

Nikki's Inspiration piece :o)


I have used a gorgeous bugaboo digi to create this sympathy card and calked around the edge to distress the image as it doesn't really need any colouring.  I have also used glossy accents on the roses.

Inspiration project by Nikki :o)

Well I am back again with another piece to show you just how effective it can be to use chalk on your cards and papercraft projects :o) 

Here is today's item and it is a gift bottle label

I have sprayed chalk mists in pink and green onto a dotty embossed piece of card to create the background

This fabulous bugaboo stamp and sentiment has been coloured with pro markers and then cut out and attached with foam pads

Well it is my time to 'hopefully!' Inspire you today so here is my card :o)



There are lots more details on my blog but I have basically used Chalk mist sprays to create the background( yellow and orange) , then stamped the glasses on top.  The image from bugaboo has been coloured with pro markers.
