Women's attires invariably get noticed and are usually a topic of debate. And when it comes to celebrities dressing up for various events and function, thousands of people are watching you. When Priyanka Gandhi - who is known for sporting branded clothing and stylish western outfits for parties and casual events - wore a handloom sari for her Amethi campaign, it fuelled the debate about what she was trying to convey through her clothes. "Having dressed up several politicians for various events, I think she has dressed suitably for the event. I think they have lots of dos and don'ts to follow as well. Coming from a political background, I am sure one can't do away with showing some skin, particularly when it comes to matters like campaigning in a rural locality. The selection to wear a handloom sari, a norm which was set by her grandmother Indira Gandhi, is not wrong," says fashion expert Archana Kocchar.
