Hair cut

Dalton has had the shag hair look for almost a year. He decided he wanted to go short for the spring.(A bunch of his friends got theirs cut, so he was following the pack) He asked if my friend Alison could cut it. I was okay with that, than I wouldn't be in trouble if he didn't like it. He was very nervous just before the cut, not sure if he really wanted to go through with it. When Alison started the cut, it was so long we could put it in a ponytail. He looks so different but, he likes the cut and said he will be keeping it short for a while.

Easter

Easter snuck up on me this year. The kids and I didn't even decorate until the week before. We did manage to get in the Easter egg coloring, Easter egg hunt, and the Easter Bunny even left baskets for everyone. We also had 31 people including us to dinner. It started out as two families and just grew. It was fun and there was great food. I meant to take a picture, but forgot. I even forgot to take the picture of the boys together. I know, bad mom, someone will complain when they are older and there are no pictures in their Easter outfits. Hope everyone had a Happy Easter we love and miss you all!

New Bike

Last fall Dalton borrowed my bike for the boy scout 20 miler. When he returned my bike it was without a seat. He had taken a tumble and broken the seat and post. I wasn't to sad because this was Brad's old mountain bike that Craig and I had bought from him when we were first married. I am not sure how long he had owned it, but needless to say it was way old. Craig took me out last week and bought me my first new, really nice bike. I wanted it for exercise, but also riding with the boys on trails. I love my new bike, it it so light and easy to handle. See you all on the roads.

Davy Crockett

The Homer House has been invaded by Davy Crockett and friends. Dawson just recently had to do a report on Davy Crockett and the Mexican War. He loved it so much that the boys used their allowances to purchase Davy Crockett cap riffles, and then they had me make them "shot bags", because they have to have "shot bags" to carry their treasures in. The boys have spent their Spring Break with their friends playing in the woods being Davy Crockett. Imaginations are such great fun!

Happy Birthday Duncan

Duncan turned 10 on March 25th. He asked that two of his friends come over to play for the day,and stay for his birthday dinner of Pizza and a Movie. He also said that Dawson and Declan could have friends over because he didn't want them playing with his friends. Pretty smart I thought. They had a great time playing Pokemon, Davy Crockett, and wave boarding. Duncan said it was the perfect birthday. We love to hear that.

Oh, how they grow!

They grow up way to fast!
