My friends took me to Worms today for the Bachfischfest (Baked Fish Festival). I got to meet Jannet's cousins - Ate Weng and Kuya Beng, and also their mom. :) Ate Weng has been living in Germany for more than 12 yrs, while Kuya Beng and their mom are staying for 3mos to visit Ate Weng.
In line with the festival, there was a parade of wine queens and marching bands. After watching the parade, we all went to the carnival. We wanted to try some of the rides, but it was too hot... I was sooo close to opening my umbrella, as I could feel my skin already getting burned. But of course, I didn't bring out my umbrella...otherwise I would look like a really odd girl, since the rest of people are enjoying the sun. We did get a chance to try the kart race. :) Allan completed the race first, then me, Kuya Beng and Jannet. It was fun... quick adrenalin rush. :)
