23 Jul 2007 : Hari Hol replacement
She sent off little CY as usual. After having a quick breakfast, she started to type on her notebook to finish off her unaccomplished paperwork.
When the clock striked 9, she was getting ready to drive to Tesco. It was surprising to find that hundreds of Harry Potter 7 were lying quietly on the 5-shelf tall rack upon the entrance to the hypermarket. Well, the RM69.90 was still clearly placed on each shelves with larger font : Lowest Price Everyday.
PL was frustrated that she could not find little CY's pyjamas. He was growing that his belly button would be exposed on most of the pyjamas when he was sleeping. He inherited the twist and turn with various sleeping patterns throughout his sleep from his mommy.
After taking lunch ( 2 pieces of cakes & 1 cup of nescafe) at home, PL made her way to JJ. The store was under renovation till Sept 2007 that most of the stock were placed in the wagon. PL finally spotted 2 sets of pyjamas for little CY. And, she was eyeing at the mini computer / labtop / notebook (a toy, ok ?) for minutes and walking back from time to time to check on them. She finally decided to let them stay in the wagon. It did have this line written : Age : more than 3.
Let CC decide after PL showed them to him. There were 4 different models and 2 of them came with a mouse ! Yeah.. we might be overdo..but little CY always loved to disturb PL, playing with the mouse and trying to type on the keyboard... (????) at the age of 8 months...8)
* Just found out that I could not spell Harry Po*ter correctly. Have edited the previous blog.

22 Jul 2007 : Sleep (rain)..sleep (rain)...sleep (rain)...
PL dozed off at 10am-11am & 2-3.30pm while CC was in deep sleep from 4-5.30pm.
And little CY also fell into sleep whenever PL was taking her nap, lying on his baby cot in the morning & the matress in the living room in the afternoon. This weekend, we found that little CY would follow PL sleeping schedule in day time without patting him to take his nap.
It was raining early in the morning, and the rains did pour from time to time throughout the day. It cooled down the day and resulted 3 sleepy heads.
The weather was so good that PL was late for her yoga class. But, the instructor did not begin the class at 6.30am as usual but at 6.45am that PL was not late, indeed.
22 Jul 2007 : Photo compilation
As long as it was not copy exact like copy cat but taught the people how to catch the fish, instead of getting fish directly. What is the big deal ? Scared of people performing better ?

21 Jul 2007 : What is the big deal..?
And, the 4 major book stores in Malaysia stopped selling the book because 2 hypermarkets sold them in a price that way low than the retail price (RM69.90 compared to RM109.90).
But still, people were reading. Guess the fan would obtain from any sources that they could get.
PL was not a fan to join the crowd, waking up early just to get the book. So, she just read the summary in wikipedia. And, she never bought the book, just watched the DVD, even it was months later after it was shown on the screen. ;p
21 Jul 2007 : Rainbow shock !!!
Seemed like traditional sweep & mop were going to be phased off.

17 Jul 2007 : Tuesday
PL came back late. Lot of paper work. And there was an incident happened over the weekend that the investigation was just completed.
PL shedded off her target weight successfully. Now, she was wondering if she still wanted to consume HL.

14 Jul 2007 : Rainbow
It was disgusting to find out how dirty our mattress was.
The system worked like what an air scrubber system was. It used a water separator and those particles and contaminants were trapped in the water.
No doubt, it was indeed an amazing technically advanced piece of work. The next day, a unit was tested by PL's colleague with the cleanroom particle counter. It only exhausted out 200 cum. counts of 0.3um particles. hhmmm.. even cleanroom compatible.
PL & CC have been looking for bagless hydro domestic vacuum. CC liked the air purification functionality while PL liked the powerful suction. Well, it was pricy, mainly due to the motor and patented water separator system.
We started to let it on for 20 min to purify our room prior little CY went to sleep. We put in the glycol and it smelled like a hospital for a start. But, it did smell "clean" after the glycol faded away.
Sometimes, we should wonder : what is happening to planet earth ? why do we need an air purification system and a cleanroom compatible cleaning machine nowadays ?
Answer : Pollution.

07 Jul 2007 : Random snapshot in Muar

One thing we found "amazing" was the street, bank ATM machines and shopping mall were crowded with foreign workers on the Sunday.
07 Jul 2007 : KL evening

We dislike KL is due to the crowd and the traffic congestion. Luckily, we easily found the parking lot at Ikano Power Centre. If not, CC might cancel the idea to get little CY his baby chair in Ikea. Hope other states would not have the same issue in future.
Dinner was late at justlife flagship store . The review was in eatout. PL loved the organic way but CC was a no-meat-no-pleasure diner.
We did not go back to Tangkak on the evening, mainly due to PL & little CY were sound asleep when we were done with our dinner. We quickly set up the mattress in Han's house & went into deep sleep. Good night !
07 Jul 2007 : Cameron Trip Part II
The food was average, typical buffet with corn flakes, nasi lemak, congee, roti canai, bread, salad, kuoy teow soup, fruits and omelette. The roti canai and omelette were good. It was hot from the pan because the chef made them when we ordered.Little CY did enjoy his congee (or rather porridge) with the egg yolk. What caught most of his attention were those people, environment and surrounding.

After filling up our stomach, we packed the necessities and made our trip futher up from Brinchang, passing the Tanah Rata town. We explored the honey bee farm, some stalls along the road, strawberry farm and kea farm.
It was almost 12 pm when we were back in the apartment. The front desk called to remind us on the check-out time.

After check-out, we headed up again because PL was interested to take a look in Cactus Point. It was indeed disappointing because it was only a nursery selling cactus, plants and flower pot. PL thought she might see some cactus that planted on the ground. (opps.. we were not in desert, anyway)

In Tanah Rata town, we walked down the street and finally found our way to T-cafe. The review of this restaurant was good. And, we found that the food suited our taste buds. If we were going to visit Cameron again, we would not forget T-cafe.
The journey down was not pleasant because the weather was getting hotter. But most of us dozed off (of course, except the driver) and lost conscious on what was happening on the road.
Cameron was indeed a place to get some fresh air, as long as we choose the non peak hour. We could feel the global warming on top of the mountain with those vehicles exhausts emitted unpleasant smell and heat.

06 Jul 2007 : Cameron Trip Part I
At around 11am, we departed from PJ after fetching Yeow & CL. The journey was smooth without any traffic congestion. We exited via Tapah at around 1pm. New Simpang Pulai route should be much easier but it was further away if travel from South.
CL felt uncomfortable with motion sickness due to the sharp bends. Luckily, we did have some plastic bags in the car.
Our 1st stop is Bahrat Tea Estate, where we enjoyed our tea and sandwich. We ordered one pot of strawberry tea while Yeow & CL ordered Indian tea.
Since we skipped lunch by having tea at Bahrat, we had an early steamboat dinner. We never actually liked to have steamboat because homemade steamboat was always better with own selection of ingredients. However, we did not have anything in mind after a glance at Brinchang's restaurant. And, we would like to reserve our stomach for snack found in Pasar Malam later. Little CY had a short nap till the car stopped whenever we were on the Highland road. We wondered if he was on motion sickness as well.
We walked down to explore the Pasar Malam. Most of the stalls were opened before the sky darken. CL was good in bargaining. She bought 1-week stock, including sweet potato, cabbage, carrot, and a variety of vegetables. PL also grabbed some sweet corn, carrot and sweet potato.
While we were strolling down the pasar malam, PL came across the OHD who was stationed in Penang and taking care of inhouse clinic at all sites. She has a bungalow in Cameron Highlands and she went there frequently, almost weekly for the renovation.
The evening was busy entertaining little CY. He fell asleep at 8pm that we also went to sleep in the cozy bed at 9pm. We did not join Yeow & CL to have something in Jim Thompson Terrace.

01 Jul 2007 : Tai Lou & 2 sisters' gathering
Since Tai Lou (well, not the gangster's tai lou, but we respected him as our BIG brother since primary school..) & his Mrs were in town, I & Irene met up with him in Tebrau City. It was so crowded in most of the restaurants but we finally got seated in Black Canyon Coffee. These days, it was kind of difficult to find a table that can accommodate 6 adults, 1 kid and 1 baby. Irene brought her little girl and we brought little CY along.
Anyhow, we just wanted to find a place for catching up what we left behind. It was always heart-to-heart talk, when we met up, and not forgetting some teasing (verbally, for those biology students, please do not get it wrong).
After the long lunch (2 hours ?), we went down to Harris to meet up with a forum friend (not sure if there was a term for that) who would be our future neighbour. She was so pretty that becoming a shine among the crowd. We were amused by her cheeky 1-year-old-plus son with various funny faces.
