28 Apr 2007 : Singapore trip

PL, Bayah & Belinda decided to make a trip to Singapore. We were caught in surprise of the traffic congestion at 10am. But it could be normal over the weekend, which we did not aware. When we finally got our passport chopped, it was around 12.30pm. Worse still, we were not familiar with the route that we had a great scenic drive around the city. Thinking of the positive side, it was not a bad trip as we got to get down from the car and explore 2 complexes (The Cathay and Park Mall) that most tourists would not go. We had our lunch in Indulge but the food did not taste as good as it looked. On 2nd floor of the Cathay, we found some interesting thingy, resulting in using some of our Singapore notes.

Due to the traffic congestion, Belinda missed her flight. It was almost 6.20pm when we were cleared from Malaysian checkpoint. Anyhow, it was no point rushing that she stayed over our place to catch next morning flight. We suggested her to make a trip down again - stay for a minimum of 2 days 1 night and take MRT to hop around to avoid the same hassle.

CY behaved well during the trip, busy observing the surrounding. If people asked if we could bring him along for travel, he passed with flying colours.

15 Apr 2007 : Yoga & HL

PL's weight reduced 1-2 kg averagely in one week time.

The immediate cause should be combination of yoga & HL : She went to yoga every weekend morning, twice per week if we did not go out station; She started her weight management program with HL last week.

Thus, the basic cause is healthy life style with healthy diet.

12 Apr 2007 : Driving license

PL attened a seminar on amendment on the FMA, together with the newly transferred EHS engineer. Hmm... learning attitude is the most important thing, which PL found in the new engineer.

The seminar ended slightly earlier that she made a detour to carrefour. It was no point of rushing as the post office would only be closed at 9pm ! However, she finally got her driving license renewed on the dot..err.. should be one day later than the expirary date (11 Apr 2007). Yeah... she was driving without a valid license for the day till 5.15pm.

PL also made a bee line to carrefour as there was a baby fair and BELIAN HEBAT.

09 Apr 2007 : Johor replacement PH

It was a great day, greeted with one glass of HL F1.

Yin went back at 9am. PL came home with CY after dropping off Yin as it was nearly his feeding time, besides she would like to enjoy sitting on my home toilet bowl.

Carrefour was having sales. In fact, most of the shopping complex were putting up banners with BIG LARGE ATTRACTIVE "SALE". PL was drowned in carrefour for 1 hour till CY complained on hunger. On left top corner, it was one of the items in shopping bag.

The whole afternoon was spent with the little one at home.

Time to get back to work tomorrow after re-energized.

06 Apr 2007 : Good Friday

PL's boss was off for long weekend. As usual, PL was acting.

These 3 days, PL joined the ERT to attend the first aid training. It was interesting to attend the training again. Due to lack of practice, PL has forgotten some of the skill. Anyhow, with a baby, PL learned the training in a more sincere heart. Yeah... last certification, it was to fulfill the requirement.

CC was off today. It was Singapore public holidays. He cleaned house, did some shopping, and settled some errands.

On next Monday, it was PL's turn of not working because it was Johor public holidays. Yin might come to visit us over the weekend. It would be nice to have someone else around, besides 3 of us.

05 Apr 2007 : Funny..

Today, PL surfed on the friendster and found out that there were many people from her companies in the system.

The most funniest thing that she came across was a short comment written by her ex-engineer. Well, a few managers and co-workers knew that it was a relief to have her go.

A recent case brought back her memory. 2 helpers came to help PL's engineer but disappeared on one of the working days. Her engineer was in a dilemma when it was brought up to top management that why this could happen.

It followed by a con call and also some discussion. PL & her engineer did want to stop sending these 2 guys over here with their some bad historical record but failed to convince the counterparts to change the helpers.

PL's ex-engineer, RH did the same thing during her business trip to other site once. We did find out when one of the counterparts told PL only after 1 week because he was afraid PL would burst. PL did burst. RH even claimed for OT for the day she disappeared ! RH was an engineer and the recent case involved 2 technicians. It was kind of viral infection, spreading around.

Nevertherless, PL was now settled down with good subordinates.
