Glow In The Dark Halloween Card

Hello crafty friends! Today I have a card created for reminder post at Magnolia challenges. The first one is Magnolia Forever with the theme

And Marvelous Magnolia challenge with the theme

I have created a Halloween themed step card. I love the design of step card that it allows to add layers on each step so you can create dimension and perspective view on your card.

I decorated the card with die cuts and sentiment. The farthest is from Cottage Cutz Halloween Night Scene. The Little Ghost die cuts are from Yvonne Creations. Tree and pumpkin die cuts are from Doohickey Old Oak, and Volume 6. The sentiment is the stamp from LDRS.

This cute Tilda is from Magnolia “Hear No Evil Tilda” stamp from Pink & Blue Ribbon 2014 collection. I colored the image with distress ink. It looks like she is scared of something. I think she is perfect for Halloween card.

To add some fun on the card, I applied glow in the dark embossing powder on some die cuts. When the light is turned off, these die cuts will glow green and create haunting feeling.

Behind the Scene of Halloween

Hello everyone! Let’s start with some exciting news. I just got invited to join DT team at Addicted to Stamps Challenge. With no hesitation, I immediately accepted this invitation because I loved stamping and coloring the stamped image. So this opportunity was definitely right for me.
Today it’s the first challenge I created for Addicted to Stamps challenge. The theme is
Last week I had busy time cleaning my house because one of my cats peed around my craft room. I had to clean the floor many time to get rid of bad smell. Also it’s almost time for Halloween. I came up with the idea that the witch might have busy time with her black cat too.

So I have created this funny Halloween box using Magnolia “Tvi Tvi Tvi Tilda” stamp from Little Easter 2013 collection. The box was made with thick cardboard painted in black. I used Spellbinders Scalloped Border 2 dies to cut the edges of the box. The patterned paper was pressed in the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder to create more texture. Then I decorated the box with many die cuts from Doohickey, Cottage Cutz, and Lawn Fawn.

Black Cat Tag

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. It’s time for Marvelous Magnolia reminder post today. The current challenge is
You have one more week to submit your black project here.

I think this challenge would fit a Halloween theme. So I made a black cat tag from old Magnolia “Jasper” stamp from A Christmas Story 2012 collection. It’s fun to adapt the Christmas stamp for other occasion. Here is my creation.

Materials:
  • Magnolia “Jasper” stamp from A Christmas Story 2012 collection
  • Magnolia DooHickey Club Volume 6 “Harvest”
  • Magnolia Doohickey “Paris Night” die
  • Die-Versions “Downhill” die font
  • Patterned paper Glitz Design
  • Embellishments: Ribbon, Spider embellishment, Paper flower, Wiggle eyes

The stamped image was coloured with distress ink by using no-line colouring technique because I wanted the cat’s eyes to be yellow like most black cats. Here is the close up of the tag.
