Holiday Challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables

Hello Crafty Friends,

The new challenge at Miss Kate Cuttables started, and remember there is a free file every day! Hopefully you will be able to join us during the next two weeks with your own creation.

This Month's Challenge...
~ Holiday~

Here is my Design Team project...
I made about 100 Winter Candy Grams that are going to be "sold" at school for 10 Box Tops each. They were advertised on our WESH morning show all last week and sales started today. They will be delivered next Monday and Tuesday just before Winter Break. Since these are for 5 - 10 year olds, the cut and decorations were simple because all they want is the CANDY!

Hoping to "sell" all these and have to make more before the end of the week.
Other Materials:
red, white, green, brown, and yellow card stock
red glitter glue
sequins
MFT stamp ~ Snow Globe Sentiments
Versafine ink ~ Black Onyx

Hope you will join us at Miss Kate Cuttables for the "Holiday" challenge. The other design team members sure are getting in the festive mood. Be sure to check out ALL the variety!

Georgiana

Let's Be Jolly with Crafting Cookies

Hello Everyone,

Happy Thursday! It's one day closer to the weekend and I am looking forward to having some time to fill out my new Lilly Pulitzer planner I bought last weekend. Dillards was having a Black Friday sale, so I got a great deal! I want to add DT challenges with due dates, guest spots, and upcoming blog hops. Do you use an agenda for your crafty business?

Today I would like to share the new challenge at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie. This is only my second time participating as a team member. These cookies are just so scrumptious looking!

This Week's Challenge...
The challenge lasts for two weeks.

Here is my Design Team project...
These ornaments are a different color combination than I typically use, which allowed me to try  something outside my comfort zone...more solid colors.

First, I created the watercolor background with a shade of grey. Then, I used a Miss Kate Cuttable stocking (cut on my Cameo), but did not add all the layers. I wanted the clean and simple look again.  The snowflake was cut with a Fiskars punch and a twine bow was adhered with a small Glue Dot

The stamped sentiment is by My Favorite Things ~ Trim the Tree stamp set.
Hope you will join us at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie this week for our "Photo Inspirationchallenge. The other design team members  all interpreted the picture differently, so go check it out!

Thanks for stopping by!

It's Time for a Little Joy

Hello Crafty Friends,

Welcome back and thanks for stopping by. Do you ever have plans that just don't go the way you think they should? I had planned on posting this card before school since I usually wake up an hour before I need to, but the dog woke me up in the middle of the night to go for a walk. Well, that made me super tired and I overslept. Bummer! Ruined my plans! I am sharing the new challenge at Paper Play Sketches after school instead.

This Week's Challenge...

Here is my Design Team project...
Since Halloween is over and the stores are already stocking merchandise for the next big holiday, I thought I would get a jump start too. I used the My Mind's Eye ~ Adventure stack.

The Christmas stocking is by Miss Kate Cuttables and the sentiment is by Sizzix thinlits. I cut  "joy" in two different card stock colors to create a shadow.
Now, I hope you will  join us this week for the Paper Play Sketch challenge. Be sure to visit the other Design Team members and share some crafty love!

Thanks again for stopping by!

Welcome back and thank you for visiting! If this is your first time here...enjoy! I hope I can inspire you to create something fun.

There is a new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas, so here is another opportunity for you to share your newest creation.

You can create a birthday tag for a gift bag, snowman tags for a Winter birthday, or Christmas tags for Santa. You get to choice the theme, colors,  and the shape of your tag. I used Plantin Schoolbook for my tags. The two smaller tags were cut at 3" and the other tag was cut at 3 1/2".
The test tubes have peanut M&Ms in them. Yum!
The stocking were cut at 2" and 2 1/2" from Doodlecharms.
Other Materials:
Me & My Big Ideas paper ~ Mambi sheets
DCWV paper ~ Festiva
red and white card stock
My Craft Spot ~ stamp from Mistletoe set
red and white ribbons
white pearls
red gems
red ink

Can't wait to see what you share at Die Cuttin' Diva this week! Now go check out the Design Team projects...be prepared to see LOTS of tags!

Baby's First Christmas

Hello Crafty Friends,

Just about finished Christmas shopping today after we picked up the Jeep from the shop (yes, it was there again). We think it is finally fixed. Yeah! There was a part in the steering column that was shorting out a bunch of other parts. We can only hope!

When we returned home, I worked on this card. It is for a co-worker's granddaughter. She loves to get her cards personalized.
Materials:
Doodlecharms cartridge ~ stocking (p.129) cut at 4"
pink and yellow checkered paper
white glitter paper by DCWV
pink paper by DCWV (Wedding and Love stack)
Fiskars snowflake punch
pink and white polka dotted buttons
white craft thread
pink gems
yellow sheer ribbon

Challenges:

Hope you have most of your holiday shopping done. How about sharing how much you have left to do. I just need to get a couple stocking stuffers and wrap a few gifts.

Stay Creative,
Georgiana
