Snow Bunny

Happy Sunday,

This morning my hubby and I went to get our pictures taken as part of a fundraiser for my brother-in-law who was just diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. My wonderful niece and her best friend organized the entire event to raise money to go toward his treatment. It was a bit cloudy and windy, but who cares! It was all for a good cause. We did take the dog to the farm and she had a good time checking out the cows. I am thinking about organizing a card drive and then donate the money to his treatment. Has anyone ever done that? If so, please give me input!

Today's project...
I have finally started the holiday cards. If I am going to do this card drive I better put it into overdrive and start producing more cuties like this one.

This Snow Bunny was a freebie at Treasure Box Designs but has since moved to the winter collection. All his edges were inked with a Distress Oxide ~ black soot.

The Merry Christmas is a MFT die which was cut with my Cuttlebug. I think the pink "pops" on the blue and it brings out the bunny's cute little nose.
Challenges:

Off to make some other projects. Please don't forget...feel free to tell me your thoughts about organizing a card drive!

Happy Easter

Happy Sunday and no April Fool's joke here!

It is quiet here at Carson's Creations since the kids are grown and gone (Kels will be home next weekend from college for her birthday). There are no hidden Easter eggs or baskets filled with goodies, but I do have a couple Easter cards I made for a co-worker.  She asked for two cards...one for her granddaughter and one for her grandson. She wanted both of them to be personalized (just like the Paw Patrol dalmatian from the other day).

Here is today's Easter project...

First, I layered the background papers (pink gingham is by The Paper Studio ~  Ice Cream Parlor stack). Then I assembled the simple but cute bunny. Since this was for a little girl, I added a twine bow near the bunnies' ear.

The bunny is by Lori Whitlock and it is part of a gift bag set. That is one reason why I like to use my Cameo more than my Cricut...I can manipulate the svg files to fit my needs. I popped the bunny up on foam squares to add dimension (and I didn't want the bunny to blend in with the background).

Here is the card personalized. I sure hope it goes in the baby's memory book after the holiday.

This is the second card. I am a bit bummed since I forgot to take a picture after personalizing it.

I used MFT dies for the stitched rectangles and scalloped oval, cut the chocolate bunny on my Cameo, added a blue Trendy Twine bow, and lastly stamped the Jaded Blossom sentiment on a fishtail sentiment strip.

Quote for the day...

Bunny Feet Box

Hello Everyone,

Easter is just a few days away, so I've been getting hoppy with the bunnies. I created another treat holder and I am lucky the Reese's peanut butter eggs made it into the box since they are my all-time favorite. I was quite tempted to eat them while working.

This bunny feet box is by My Scrap Chick. I kept it a simple by using white, but thought about trying a light gray or inking the edges if I needed to made another. The only materials you need are a few sheets of cardstock and adhesive...SUPER easy!

The front and back views...

There are still a few days until Easter, so a couple more projects may be on the way.

Hoppy Easter with Fluffy Bunny

Happy Friday Miss Kate Cuttables Fan,

This is Georgiana from Carson's Creations and I am glad to be back today. The difference this time is that I am not a Design Team member, but instead a Guest Designer. What a privilege to be able to return and share the fun files.

First, I want to remind you that there is a free file that you can download every day.
Today's Freebie...Click Here

Here is my Guest Designer project...
I used the Fluffy Easter Bunny for a special Easter treat.

I cut the bunny with my Cameo and layered the four pieces which is super easy. I added the bow and carrot next. I used micro Glue Dots to adhere her to the front of a clear gable box.

A stamped sentiment

After adding the yummy chocolate carrot treats, I finished with a big pink and green bow.
Thanks again for letting me come back as a Guest Designer.

Happy Easter from Trendy Twine

Happy Easter,

Today is the last day for the Spring Guest Designers at Trendy Twine. What a wonderful opportunity it was using this fabulous twine. Thank you again Lesley for allowing us to showcase a variety of colors during the past two months.

Although my children are older and do not hunt Easter eggs any more, I still like to give them goodies. I made an Easter treat using a Jaded Blossom purse.

I wrapped my Grape Fizz twine around the handle and then attached my tag. The stamped setiment is from Jaded Blossom's  Bunny Poop Revamped stamp set.

I cut out the chocolate bunny on my Cameo, added a wiggly eye, and made him a twine bow. I chose to adhere a couple yellow sequins since they matched the jelly beans.

Be sure to get your Grape Fizz Trendy Twine today!

You can find this great twine color along with many more  at  Annie's Paper Boutique store

Today I am sharing the new challenge at Die Cuttin' Divas. I hope you will join us this week since you can try something new and create something outside the box...or you may even want to create a box. There are so many options with this one!

This Week's Challenge...
~ 3D Projects ~

Here is my Design Team project...
I created a treat bag for one lucky person. I plan to make more, but ran out of time with all the remodeling we were doing at my son's house during Spring Break.  The house is looking good!

I put Reese's bunnies in the bag. Yum!

The boy Easter bunny is by Miss Kate Cuttables. I cut him out with my Cameo. If I make another since I already have the second bag cut, I may have my bunny hold an Easter egg or a carrot.

The mini tag (by My Craft Spot) was cut on my Cuttlebug and the stamped sentiment is by Jaded Blossom ~ Easter Treats 2.
Other Materials:
Orange, white, grey, black, and blue card stock
Lawn Fawn plaid paper
yellow ribbon
blue craft thread
orange gems
Versafine Black Onyx ink

Hope you will join us at Die Cuttin' Divas this week for our "3D" challenge. Be sure to check out the other design team boxes, bags,  and purses!
