Wishing for Spring

This is the card I am entering in this months Scrapbook Boutique blog challenge. Each month we are given a mood board for inspiration. With spring just around the corner I decided to use the bird as my inspiration.
The background "leafy" panel was cut on the Silhouette Cameo. I stamped the bird with distress ink and did very little colouring as I wasn't sure how the Copic marker would react with the ink but as you can see it worked well.

Birthday Chick

My card for the May Outlawz Progressive/Freebie Challenge features this super cute image supplied to us by Di's Digi Stamps.

I coloured the image with Prismacolor pencils, cut out and popped up on dimensionals. The background dp was a free download from "Free Pretty Things for You". The "Happy" cutout was designed by me and cut using the Silhouette Cameo.

Good morning all! With all the beautiful days we have been having I have been spending a lot of time outdoors and not really making many cards, but I wanted to show you my card for this months Progressive/Freebie Challenge over on the Outlawz site. Teresa from Tickell Expressions kindly donated this sweet image for us to create with.

I coloured my image with Prismacolor pencils and the Hearts Border was cut on the Silhouette Cameo.

#1 Dad

The new releases this month, by Kris from Imagine That!, are just in time for Father's Day. As soon as I saw the "Golf Set" images I knew exactly what I wanted to create.
I embossed the white background with the Seeing Spots embossing folder and layered on kraft cardstock. The title and flag were cut using a Silhouette Cameo and the image was coloured with coloured pencils.

Feeling Sketchy #72

A clean and simple card today for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog. The optional challenge was to use patterned paper. I love stripes and dots together but my patterned paper with the dots looked a little sparse, so I grabbed a couple of circle stamps, some matching ink colours and stamped away. I quite like the way it turned out.

This is the sketch we hade as inspiration
