Scrapbook Boutique Challenge

I love the stamp I have used on this card. Unfortunately, I don't know anything about it. I purchased it in a "Grab Bag" of assorted stamps online somewhere. As soon as I saw the theme for the challenge this month on the Scrapbook Boutique Blog I knew she was just perfect.
The background stamp is from Hero Arts and the flower and flourish were cut using the Silhouette Cameo.
When I thought I had finished it didn't look quite right (too much white space) so rather than pulling it all apart to redo I thought I would try splattering a bit of red ink over the excess white areas to soften the look. It was a nerve racking experience at the time (grin) but I think it turned out ok.
This is the photo we had as inspiration.

Lacy Sunshine Challenge #10

The Lacy Sunshine Challenge Blog has a fabulous prize in their current challenge. A CD filled with  every "Eleanor & Pickles" digi to date.
My card for this challenge is using a digi image by Heather Valentin called "Stardust Satyress" and was coloured with Prismacolor pencils. The card base was cut using the Silhouette CAMEO and then inked with Distress Inks.

Imagine That! New Release Day

It's New Release Day at the Imagine That! Digis by Kris  store. I created a "centre step card" for my DT card this week. The images are from the Bee Boy Outline set and the flowers on the side panels were cut from the Bees n Sunflowers digi paper pack.

 

 

 

Feeling Sketchy #62

My DT card for the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog  features "Eleanor Painting Butterflies" an image by Heather Valentin and is available from this month's sponsor  Lacy Sunshine Stamps.

 

 

 

The image was coloured with Prismacolor pencils and the flowers were all made with Spellbinder dies - Bitty Blossoms. The pretty pink designer paper was from Imagine That!.

A New Release at Imagine That!

There is a new release today at the Imagine That! store and my DT card uses an image from the  Fishing Bear Collection. I used the outline image but you can also purchase the pre coloured version.
I used Prismacolor pencils to colour my image and the extra cattails were cut using a Silhouette Cameo.
