Hubby and I are celebrating our 10 yr. wedding anniversary tomorrow so we're off to spend a couple of days in Toronto. I made this card for him - but it doesn't begin to scratch the surface. I'll check back on Sunday - hope you have a wonderful long weekend!

Lockhart Thank You
I made this card for my son's soccer coach. The season ended last weekend and I wanted to let them know we appreciated him. I just love this Lockhart stamp, coloured with my copics and cut and embossed with Nestabilities. The paper is from a MME stack that I got at Costco last year - I'm determined to start using it up! The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up sale-abration set (Lots of Thoughts) and I pierced the corners and added some bella baubles. Hope you're having a great week!

Packing the Essentials
Besides the tent, stove, etc....I packed some of my other essentials today. We're off camping and I want to get ahead of the game (so to speak), so I made up this pack to take with me. I used the box my SU tag punch bundle came in and an empty clamshell pack (I think from a background stamp). I prestamped a whole ton of images and grabbed some patterned papers from my scrap bins, as well as from my 6x6 collection. All the stamped images and scraps are in the clamshell, which sits right on top of my copic markers. I'm all ready to go!

Summer is Flying!
I can't believe how fast the summer is flying by! It seems like it just started and it's already mostly over! We've still got a week of camping left and my son has a week of VBS and then it's back to school! Can't believe he'll be going all day every day - my big grade one'r!!
I made this card the other day for a friend who just had her 2nd baby girl. I picked up this pink flocked paper at my LSS the other day - it's by Doodlebug and I love anything by them! The bunny is from Papertrey's Bitty Baby Blessings set and I covered it with flock so he's fuzzy like the paper. Pretty simple but all I had time to whip up!
I haven't had much stamping time in the past couple weeks - hope to get back into it really soon! I've packed some images to colour while we're camping and hope to make a slew of cards when I get back. I've been enjoying the new Stampin' Up catalogue too - I have a healthy wish list! Hope you're having a good week so far!

Pamper yourself with chocolate!!
I made this card for a friend of mine who just celebrated her 40th birthday. I just love this Rubber Romance stamp and I was pleased that she turned out alright coloured with copics. The patterned paper is from the Making Memories Noteworthy line and the sentiment is from My Favorite Things.
I didn't stamp at all this weekend - my weekend was filled with painting. We painted our family room which was ugly faux wood paneling. I'd love to rip it out, but not this year - it looks much better painted out anyway.
Hope you had a wonderful weekend! I'm excited for the new Stampin' Up catalogue to be posted on their website at noon tomorrow - can't wait to see it.

Mojolicious!
I made this card a while ago for one of Julee's mojo monday sketches (mojo45), but never entered it or got it uploaded. I used the Hero Arts cupcake set and paper from DCWV Nana's kids stack. I masked the cupcakes to stack them and coloured them with copics. The icing is covered with stickles. Hope you fellow canucks had a wonderful long weekend and everyone else had a great weekend too!
