June New Product Tour

That's right everyone, we have made it through teasers, and now, all the new sets are available in the My Favorite Things Store!!!! Before you go shop, be sure to hop around and see what all my fellow designers have been up to...you know you wanna see. :)

For my focus set tonight, I am using the new Art Expression Text stamp set from the Lisa Johnson Design line. It will sell for $15.95 and is the perfect addition to any stampers collection.

For my first card, I used the Art Expression Text stamp set along the bottom in Black Licorice ink, and then added a paint smear, along with several paint splotches from the Abstract Art set, in Orange Fizz, Red Hot, Bubblegum, and Berrylicious. I used the Fancy Flourish Die-namics in Black Licorice to accent my sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental About Art set. It was cut out with the Layered Label Die-namics. To finish, I used the Paint Brushes Die-namics to make my paint brush using Red Hot, Kraft, and Black Licorice cardstock.

For the inside, I added another paint splotch from Abstract Art, and sentiment from Clearly Sentimental about Art

For my second card, I used only Smooth White, X-Press It blending card(the butterfly), and Bubblegum cardstock. I used the Insert It-Speech Bubble Die-namics to make my text bubble, which had the Art Expressions Text stamped on it in Bubblegum ink. I used the Framing Flourish Die-namics to accent it, and added a butterfly from the Blissful Butterflies Die-namics. My sentiment is from the Blissful Butterflies stamp set. On my card base, I used the Peek-a-Boo Dots Die-namics to cut out my dot pattern.

For the inside, I added another speech bubble, and more Art Expressions Text. I did stamp a sentiment on the bubble with Bubblegum ink.

Well, that is it for me for now! Thanks for stopping by, and have fun hopping around to all my teammates blogs! Head on over to the MFT Blog for the official list!

Crazy 4 Summer

I haven't played in the Crazy 4 Challenges challenge in awhile, and I'm sorry for that. What a bad team member I have been! I get so busy with work and  things just get pushed to the back burner, but I am going to make an effort to be better.....I'm the WoRST procrastinator EVER!!!!

Anywho, this week's challenge was to make a card or project with a summer theme, and since I am ALL ABOUT summer right now, I couldn't not play along!

I used the MME Summer Splash paper pad again, and paired it with Perfect Pinwheel stamp set, and matching Perfect Pinwheel Die-namics. I used Electric Red cardstock for my stick(I just cut a strip of paper, nothing fancy!), and the border at the top. It was made with the Dotted Scallop Border Trio Die-namics. To finish, I embellished my card with Sour Apple, Electric Red, and Nightshift Blue buttons and hemp twine.

I used more of the same on the inside, including another sentiment from this super cute set.

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the Crazy 4 Challenges blog for more details, and to get a peeky poo at our new designers AND our guest designer! WOOT!!

MFTWSC126-A Wish For You

Hey everyone, and happy Wednesday!! That means it is time for another Wednesday Stamp Club challenge from My Favorite Things! It's MY favorite sketch challenge!

For my card today, I used the SUPER cute new Make a Wish Pure Innocence set. I LOVE this line of stamps, and it makes me so nostalgic for my youth..lol. When I see dandelions now, I think of weeds and if you blow on them, you are JUST going to get MORE....but back then, I truly loved making wishes and hoping they would come true!

I won't bother you with much detail, but I have the inlinkz below directing you to all the FABULOUS products I have used on this creation, mostly from MFT. I am currently in love with summer, and the idea of summer, and everything summer-esque, so I used the MME Summer Splash paper pad. Super cute, right?

For my inside, I added some more stars, and the star border, and another sentiment from this set. One of the great things about clear stamps...you can make them bend a little if you wanna!!

Well, that is it for me for now! Be sure to check out the MFT Blog for all the details. :)
