Up To Snow Good..

I don't personally love snow. In fact, I kinda hate it. It's pretty to look at, and makes the world look like a magical fairy land...then you step out in it and it's cold, wet, sticky, and gross. Bah Humbug, right?! LOL! With that said, I do LOVE snowmen, so the new Snowbuddies set from There She Goes is PERFECT for me, and for all you other snowman lovers out there. With over FIFTY stamps, you can create your own snowmen, or use the pre-made ones, but that's entirely up to you!! I decided to pair this super cute set with not only this week's There She Goes challenge(an Inspiration challenge), but with this week's I Spy SketchThis week we are featuring  Christine Okken ChristineCreations at SCS) and is inspired by this card.

I started by stamping my snowman on X-Press It blending card. It was just the body of the snowman, so I added the eyes and nose, and then did the hat on a separate piece of blending card, and cut it out. I colored it all with Copics, then cut it out with my Oval Stax Die-namics. My Fossil layer was cut out with the Oval Open Scalloped Doily Duo Die-namics. I used the Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather paper pad for my card, along with Grapesicle card stock from MFT, and Gummybear from Bazzil. To finish my card, I used several, different embellishments. I used Michael's brads, White Twill ribbon from the Ribbon Carousel(May Arts), some hemp cord from MFT, the Let It Snowflake Die-namics in Sweet Tooth cardstock from MFT, and a Grapesicle button from MFT. Under my ribbon, I used another piece of the Cosmo Cricket paper, which was cut out with the Small Scalloped Border Die-namics from MFT. My sentiment is from the Snowman Sentiments stamp set, also from There She Goes.

Well, that is it for me for now  Be sure to check out the creations from my fellow I Spy Secret Agents, and the Trendsetters from There She Goes.

I used the MME A Mother's Love paper pad, which was paired with More Mustard(SU), Blu Raspberry(MFT), and Going Gray(SU) card stock. My sentiment from the Clearly Sentimental about New Beginnings set, was stamped on one of the Decorative Circle Tags Stax Die-namics. I used a Michael's brad at the top, along with some hemp cord. For my ribbon, I used some Blu Raspberry grosgrain, as well. To finish, I added a Fancy Flourish Medium Die-namics cut out in Going Gray.

For the inside, I used more of the same supplies.

This week our hostess is ELAINE!! And her challenge is All About MUSIC!! So you'll need to create something with a muscial feel! I think what SONG I was inspired by is pretty self explanatory, but from the MOMENT I saw what today's challenge was, I wanted to ink up my Madeline stamp set. It's perfect for a music challenge, right down to the saying! I stamped her on X-Press It Blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Kraft cardstock, and then added to my card base. It was made from Fossil, Wild Cherry, Mellow Moss, Sweet Tooth, and some MME The Merry Days of Christmas pad. To embellish my card, I used the MFT Let It Snowflake Die-namics, and the Fancy Flourish Die-namics. Shockingly, the only other embellishment I used were Michael's brads. My sketch is this week's I Spy Sketch Challenge.

Don't forget that our NEW October release stamps are NOW available along with the Gimme Kimmies Kits but only for a limited time!!! Scoop some up now!! AND this week's Frugal Friday Specials are some of our favourite Halloweenie themed stamps, so grab them today!!

I used the Large Fancy Flourish Die-namics, and Let it Snowflake Die-namics with more of the Heidi Grace paper. Michael's brads were used in the center of my Snowflakes, and I used Sweet Tooth Grosgrain, as well. To make it just a little more sparkly, I went over the words in my sentiment with my Sakura Glitter Pen.  My sketch is this week's I Spy Sketch challenge...sort of. I took a few liberties, but it was definitely my inspiration, lol.

ISSC34 Happy Birthday!

Hey everyone, and happy Friday!!!! It is time for another I Spy sketch challenge, and it is ALSO time for the Trendsetters at There She Goes to post NEW cards using this month's There She Goes Again sets!!
I'm so excited about the fantastic lady we are highlighting today.  None other than my FABULOUS MFT teammate,  Joanne Basile (basilefamily @ SCS)!! Joanne is SO talented, and one of the SWEETEST people I know!!  This week we are featuring this card.

For my card tonight, I used the Make A Wish set from There She Goes. I stamped it on X-Press It Blending  card, and then colored both pieces with my Copics. I cut out the cake separately, and then added it on TOP of the pedestal to make it "sit" on it. I was inspired by an old Cosmo Cricket paper pad for my colors, and then couldn't make it work, so I ended up using the MME Meadowlark paper pad. I used the MFT Little Open Scalloped Border Die-namics for my border, and cut it out of Grape Jelly cardstock. My other cardstock colors are Tempting Turquoise(SU), Sweet Tooth, and Black Licorice from MFT. To finish, I used some Grape Jelly grosgrain from MFT, oval punches from SU, and brads from Michael's.

Well, that is it for me for now!! Be sure to check out my fellow I Spy teammates cards for this sketch, and ALSO check out the There She Goes blog for a look at THEIR cards using this month's TSGA sets.

On the Move Blog Hop Challenge

Here we are on our fourth, and final, day of peeks for this month's new release, and we are ending it with an ADORABLE set from Torico!!

Torico has created the most adorable moving set,  which we think will help to ease the pain of moving just a little! Most people do NOT like to move, and this super cute set has an image and sentiment for every occasion, whether you be the one moving, or if you are sending one to a friend or family member. With a major transition such as moving, a hand stamped greeting is JUST the thing to say goodbye, hello, or just a plain welcome to the neighborhood….and there’s a DOG!!!!

On the Move is a 6x8 set that includes a total of 22 stamps and will sell for $24.00.

For my card today, I combined it with the I Spy Sketch for this week! I stamped my girl on X-Press It blending card, and then colored her with my Copics. She was layered with Fossil cardstock. My paper is from the MME Bluebell paper pad, and was layered with Not Quite Navy, Jawbreaker(Bazzill), and Banana Split card stock. The ribbon I used is Leather Tan seam binding, and I used some Creative Express brads.

Would you like to win the new On the Move stamp set? Here is what you need to do- visit the Trendsetter’s blogs that are participating in each of the blog hop challenges below and comment on their creations as you go. One of the Trendsetter’s blogs (from each hop day) will be randomly chosen as the ‘it’ blog and a winner will be picked using a random number generator from the comments left on that Trendsetter’s Blog Hop Challenge post.

You will not know which blog has been chosen so the more you comment on the better your chances are of winning new stamps! The Blog Hop Challenges will be open until 5 PM Eastern Time Saturday, August 25th with the winner being announced during the release party chat.
