Exploding boxes

Hi everyone! I hope you are fine!
Last week I made these two exploding boxes for baptism.
One for a girl and one for a boy.
I have used dies from DooHickey Box Vol 13.
Like the whale and the baby bottle.

The tassels are made with a dies from the DooHickey Box Vol 5.

The box are made with a Kraft Cardstock measuring 27 x 27 cm.
I have foldet it at 9 cm, and 9 cm.
The cut it out like you see under.

The sweet image, Sleeping Baby Tilda,
is fasten on a plastic strip.
I have cut the strip out from a plastic container.

Sleeping Baby Tilda is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers.

Also the clouds are cut out from a DooHickey die (vol 13),
and put up on a plastic strip.

Now to the baby boy box.

Inside this box you find Baby Edwin
from Princes and Princesses Collection 2012.

The image is coloured with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.

Under you see a pocket with a small card
to write a greeting on.

All the papers are from MajaDesign.

The sentiment is from Stempelglede.

Thank you for visting my Magnolia blog!

A card in a box

Hi everyone! Today I will show you av box with a card
which I made for a baptism last weekend.
The dies I have used are from the DooHickey Box Vol 13.
Sooo cute! I just love the small baby cloth,
and with that cute bow in front.

I have used papers from MajaDesign.

The paper clips are also cut out with a die from the DooHickey Box Vol 13.
I have also added some Frantage here and there.
And painted with white Gesso
around the box and on the papers and flowers.

The box is measuring 14 x 15 cm. And is 2 cm width.

And inside there is a heart shaped Magnolia card.

The cute image is called Sleeping Baby Tilda, and is from the Cozy Family Collection 2010.
I have coloured it with Distress Ink, re-inkers and Markers.
And I have used some of the same papers and embellishments
as on the front of the box.

Behind the image I have put some cheese cloth.
And behind the flowers some sissal grass.

The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Thank you so much for visiting my Magnolia blog.

Camilla

Pop-up baby card

Hi there Magnolia fans! Here comes a baby card I have made for the Magnolia DooHickey Box vol. 13{Sweet Pea} leaflet, as an inspirational card with a step by step.

This cute image is called Sleeping Baby Tilda and is from the Cozy Family collection 2010. It can of course be used on both girls and boys cards. I have used Distress Ink reinkers for my colouring. And the blue is Weathered Wood.

Above you can spot how the pop-up tecnique is done.

I have used several dises from different collections. I just love the heart background here. And behind that I have some cute baby clothes hanging. As you can see I have added some white paint here and there on the lovely papers from Maja Design.

Here you see how the card looks on the front. The castle is a Magnolia die from 2013. And I have put the star tag behind, with some texts on. As the date of the babtism.

I hope that you liked my baby pop-up card, and that it can inspire you to use your DooHickey dies. The next DooHickey box avilable to order is vol. 15. It is called {Sail Away}.

Wish you a lovely day!
With love,
Camilla

Sleeping baby Tilda and my own little angel ♥

Under ser du merkelappene.
Ventetiden var over...:)
Og her er det lille vidunderet vårt!

Tusen takk for at du besøker bloggen min!

Sleeping baby ♥

Hi!
This week's theme at MDUC is
ALL ABOUT BOOKS.
I have made a book card, with a shaker box:)
The beautiful papers I have used are from Maja Design and the Vintage Summer Basic collection.
The gorgeous stamp is of course from Magnolia.
The book measures 11x15x3 cm.
I use brush size 0 and 00, and the paper I use is called Langton
and you can get it in Hjerteboden.
I have colored the image with Distress Ink, re-inkers.
Skin: Vintage Photo, Tattered Rose, the cheeks are coloured with a mix of Tattered Rose and Aged Mahogany.
Clothes : Weathered Wood, I have also used Black Soot on the darkest spots.
Above you can see that I have filled a bottle from Tim Holtz with glitter, and then also put a text saying "Baby Alfred" inside.
Here is the inside of the card:
The text saying "En liten hjerteknuser" is from Stempelglede.
Some more detail photos:

The beautiful text on the tag is from Stempelglede.
Please visit the MDUC blog to have a look at the amazing creations from my team mates!!
