Celebrating 4 Years

For our anniversary this year we decided to go spend it in the Beautiful Uinta's. We decided that water
is what really makes back packing awesome, which is why we love the Uinta's so much. Every corner you turn there is some gorgeous lake or pond or a waterfall with ice cold glacier water to enjoy.

We went on a loop that started at Bald Mountain and reached Notch Pass, then back down to Trail lake. We spend the night at Ibantic Lake, it was so pretty. Felt like we were in some Magical Forest. I think we chose the perfect time to go. There were wild flowers EVERYWHERE and the weather was amazing!!

I'm so lucky to have Kevin. I can't imaging the last 4 years of my life with out him, or any time in the future with out him for that matter.
Kev, I can't wait to be the little lady hiking besides you, with my hearing aids turned up so I can hear your adventurous stories. We have grown up together and I know we have some big adventures and amazing times to be had! And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you!

This is Kev and I hitch hiking back to our Jeep! I did not love it at first. We got rejected by what seemed like 50 cars. Then Kev convinced me the only way someone was going to stop was if I put my thumb out too and smile real pretty, because they would stop for a girl. When I finally did, he was right.

These are a few of the lakes we hiked passed.. we probably saw over 20.

I Heart Heber

Heber City is amazing.
In the 5 months we have been here we have decided
it is somewhere we could stay forever if possible.
Here is a bit of what we have been up to between working.
We love to be able to go play in Park city any time.

Our friends are bomb diggity, so glad to have the Swaners and Bells!
 Sundance play..

Going to work with dad days.
Droppin beats with Uncle T
First Timp Cave hike for Kev and Nash.

Lots of playing in the Uintah's.
We have really gotten into biking. road biking is beautiful up here and we found some super fun mountain bike trails! If anyone wants to come up and ride them with us, let me know! So much fun!

 Jeep Rides.
Nash and I hit the Farmers Market ever Thurs. Nash can down this huge thing of lemonade from this Mexican food stand in about 120 seconds flat.
Love that this has been an everyday sight from my bedroom window. One morning I was late to a work meeting because we had a baby bear in our yard and I was scared the momma bear was still around. Its been crazy! But Awesome! Oh and Kev had a mountain Lion jump in front of his jeep. Not something you see every day!
Chell has been a second mommy to Nash, she helps us so much.
We love her!!
How am I ever going to settle for any other kitchen window view?

Nash Loves miss Isla so much. They are adorable.
As much as we love living in the cabin we have decided to buy a house in town. We have an offer in on this cute little house. Its a short sale so its been taking FOREVER but we are in the final stages and hope that all will go well and to close by Oct 10th!

My new back door!

Kevin got a job in Heber. So I give to you,
a picture of my new back door..
Maybe some day I will take a picture of the front.

We are moving this Saturday, and we are so excited!!

This is a cabin that my dear grandma built a few (10ish) years ago and Kev and I love to go escape there on the weekends. We always dreamed of buying it from her, but it looks like that dream might come true. The area has such a peaceful beautiful feeling that makes us never want to leave.

We are going to live there for a year,
and make sure that Kevin's new job goes well.
If it does we plan to buy the cabin and stay in Heber forever!
If not.. we will just start a new adventure somewhere else.

Bored?

If you ever need to go on a little random drive,
stop by the Spiral Jetty!
Sunday kev packed us lunches and told
me we were going on a drive,
and this is where we ended up.
In Golden Spike National Monument, the middle of no where!
It was a good little adventure!
It would be a really fun place to go on a warm day and let the kids play in the sand.
