Happy Easter!

We are back from Disney and my vacation is just about over!  Florida was fabulous again this year.  We did have one day of rain and just one day of colder than expected weather but the rest of the week was perfect weather!  We can't complain at all.   I have been working in my craft room for a couple of days now and just love working on baskets for Easter.  The above photo is a Bunny Easter box without candy added.  I was inspired by Linda Parker's tutorial that I found on Pinterest.  Check out her tutorial here-

The picture below shows the Bunny with candy in the box.  It holds just enough goodies for our small Grandson!!

The Easter baskets I made below are a Picnic Hamper styled Easter basket.  I love making these cuties.  The box part of the basket is the same idea as the Bunny Basket above.  They are made using the Envelope Punch board.  The hamper style basket it a little bigger.   Again, Linda Parker does a fabulous tutorial showing you  how to make these-

I did decorate mine a little differently from Linda's since I wanted to add more 3D flowers to my baskets.   But however you decorate them- they are fun to make.  They hold a good amount of yummies too.

Here are a few close ups of the baskets. I played around with different colors and different flowers.  Fun, Fun!!

Hope everyone has a very Happy Easter!  I must leave you with at least one picture from our Disney Trip.   I only took a couple of hundred pictures but the castle fireworks are always a favorite!!

Easter Fun!

I just couldn't make one Easter Basket!   I love using Sizzix's Scallop die to make these baskets!  It is so easy to do!   I made enough for my co-workers and one for my Grandson, too!  Now I just need to fill them with goodies.  Check out my previous post to see the link to my Sister's basket ( It's her Sizzix die that I borrowed) and the video instructions!  Here is an Easter Parade of Baskets!

They are all just a little different!

Bunnies and more bunnies!

I love the pearls!

I love this Graphic45 Paper!

This one has a botanical feel to it!

Who doesn't like purple!

I showed this one before but added the fencing!

Making Easter Baskets makes me think that Spring is just around the corner!  No more snowstorms, please!  I hope your Easter is fun!

Big Office THANK YOU!

I want to say "Thank you" to my staff for holding down the fort while I was out recovering from surgery!  I had made these basket to celebrate Easter and now I can use it for both!  On a trip to the greenhouse- I picked up these miniature roses and I think they look pretty in their baskets.  I have hidden a few Easter yummies in them too!  I hope the staff likes them!

Easter Basket

I have made another Easter basket!  I made several others but I just love how easy they are to make and fun to decorate.  You can find the instructions here     http://stamptv.ning.com/video/gift-basket-part-1
The tulip on the basket is Valita's  Owl Punch Tulip!  I had to see if I could make them!  They are super easy and so pretty!  You can find her video instructions on her blog-

I am posting tonight since I will out of comission for a few days!  An MRI revealed I had a Meniscus tear in my knee.  Actually, there are 2 tears on either side of my knee.  The surgery is scheduled for the morning and isn't supposed to be too bad.  But the recover may take awhile.  Since my computer is upstairs and my Studio is in the cellar- I am thinking I won't be working on either for a few days!    Any prayers for me are much welcomed!  Here is a picture of the other side of my basket!   I will be back soon!

Easter Baskets!

Gina K Designs on Stamp TV has a great video with the instructions for these adorable Gift Baskets!  I have decided to use mine for Easter.  It is so easy to make and you can decorate it anyway you want.  I like these baskets because they are a pretty good size basket.  Gina puts flowers in her example and there is plenty of room to do that.    You can find the instructions here-

I saw Loll Thompson's cute Pretty in Pink Basket and that led me to Stamp TV.  I love Loll's adorable basket!  You can see it here-

I added a duck here and a rabbit there- just because I love Punch art.  I was inspired by my sister, Rochelle's adorable duckie!  Take a look at her cute design-
