The Paper Variety Challenge

A friend requested a card for a baby boy!  I remade the airplane card because I think it is so cute!  I used different paper, my husband said he does not like it!  He made he second guess myself, but I got over it:)  I think I went a little too far out of the box with the colors :)  So, I am entering it in the Paper Variety Challenge.  For the challenge, you need to include something you see in the sky on the project.

Baby Boy

I made this card for a friend that is attending a baby shower.  The only request she had was I use the colors blue and purple.  I looked perplexed, ravaged thru all my paper stacks and single papers.  So, I pulled out everything, purple, blue or some combo of.  Well, here is the end results, I really like this.  My husband approves:)  The card is 4x9, I really like this size card.

Throwback Thursday Challenge

Here is my attempt at another challenge.  Emma over at My Creative Time had a challenge that requires you to use New Arrival, so I did.  I think it came out pretty good:)  The card is 6 x6.  The squares are cut @ 2.5" and the moon, flower and butterfly are cut @ 2" and the bootie is cut @ 1.75".  I used pink and yellow stickles.  The pink paper is recollection from Michael's and the pattern paper is from a pack I found at Ross.

Congratulations!

My sister asked me to make a card for a friend that was having a baby.  So, I pulled out the New Arrival cart.  The card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I cut the baby and stork @ 3 1/2".  Also, my Peachy Keen Stamps arrived yesterday, but since I was sick, I had to wait until today.  I purchased the Funshine assortment, which I used on the baby's face:) I am in love with them already.  I'm checking to see which set I want next!

It's a BOY!

This was my first time using my New Arrival cart! I had just gotten the mini clothes pins from Walmart. When asked to do this card, I knew they would be perfect!
