Life is the flower...

Hi everyone! I have a Stamper's Dream project share for you today. I created this cute little card using Impression Obsession's A Loving Heart clear stamp set and Prima Londonerry 6x6 papers from Stamper's Dream. And did you already hear about the Stamper's Dream liquidation sale?? I'm so, so sad Michelle's closing up shop... but that means some scrappy savings for you, so hurry on over to get an additional 20% off the entire store! Did I tell you Michelle carries Spellbinders and Tim Holtz Alterations dies?? All the cool stuff is going fast, so don't wait!!

Here is the card I created:

I stamped the sentiment onto some of the Londonerry design paper then I cut it out using one of the dies from the new Donna Salazar Creative Book Pages Two Grande die set. I edged it with Vintage Photo distress ink. The flowers are Kaisercraft Blooms in Olive and Buttercream. The little cherry blossom and skeleton leaves are from I Am Roses. The butterfly is from my stash and I hand-made the custom stick-pin. ❤

I punched out the leaves with some of the design paper & my Martha Stewart punch to "fill up" the flower ensemble on the card. The pearl bling is by Recollections.

Thanks so much for stopping by today and letting me share my latest project with you! And don't forget to stop by Stamper's Dream... you just might find yourself an awesome deal! ❤

"A Christmas to Remember" card, some news and Stamper's Dream Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome to Stampers Dream's very last (*wiping my tears as I write this*) blog hop! If you haven't heard the sad news about the closing of Stamper's Dream, please click on over to Michelle's blog for details and for information about the store's liquidation sale.

It has been such an AMAZING honor being a member of Michelle's Dream Team! But, I am excited for Michelle as she steps into the next journey of her life. Love you Michelle! Thank you so much for everything you do!

That said, don't you go anywhere just yet... because we have a full line-up of designers and friends ready to share some fun projects with you on today's blog hop!

I created this card using JustRite's Christmas Trimmings Cling Mount stamp set and BoBunny's Father Christmas paper collection. I stamped the wreath with Momento Tuxedo black ink, colored it up using my copic markers and used my circles Nesties to cut it out. I stamped the bow and colored it up as well, but I fussy cut it and added some dimensionals & a Recollections half-back pearl to make it pop off the page a little. The pearl bling is by Recollections and the trim is by Prima. The gorgeous "sugared" flower is also by Prima. The larger layers on the card were cut using Donna Salazar's Creative Book Pages Grande Die by Spellbinders. I love how versatile this die set is... not only are they awesome for creating mini albums, but you can also use the various dies that come in the set to make cards!

Here are some pics...

Time to Celebrate!

Hi everyone! TGIF! Yippeee! I am so excited about the weekend being here. I haven't been feeling well and a few days to recuperate from a busy week is just what I needed. ☺

I'm here today with a project for Stamper's Dream. I recently added the Moments in Time clear stamp set by Flourishes to my collection and I am just in LOVE with it! I used the clock face, roman numerials and sentiment from the set on this semi-masculine card... and I say "semi" masculine because I added my favorite Kaisercraft paper bloomers (in Honey) to the card (if I added flowers to a card for my hubbs, he would not be too fond of it, LOL!) Under the bloomers, I gathered some black burlap string by May Arts. The papers are edged with Ranger Distress ink in Walnut Stain. The pearls are by Recollections and the brads and clock charm are from my stash. The paper collection is TimePiece by BoBunny.

Here are some pics:

I hope you like my project for today! Be sure to stop by the Stamper's Dream store. Michelle just got in some yummy new papers by BoBunny and Simple Stories and can we say Spellbinders?! Trust me, you don't want to miss out! ❤

Have a great weekend!

hugs! ❤

Mini 6x6 Scrapbooking Layout "You are Perfect"

Hi everyone, TGIF!

I received my new Spellbinders from the Stampers Dream store earlier this week and I've been dying to create something! As I was digging through some file folders in my office, I found this wallet sized studio picture of my son Dylan, taken in February 2004 when he was only 2 weeks old. The picture was my inspiration and when I received the new Baby Steps 6x6  papers by Simple Stories, I knew I wanted to make a little layout!

Here are some pictures:

I created a VIDEO that will walk you through the process of creating this lay-out. Super fun and the Creative Book Pages Two by Donna Salazar is a "must have" in my "book"! ❤

Have a great weekend!

hugs ❤,

Bon Jour & From Paris with Love...

Hi everyone! I have 2 cards to share with you today using some new goodies from Stampers Dream! And let me tell ya, after making these two cards, I have the sudden urge to take a trip to Paris!! hehe!

For my first card, do you spy the luscious and beautiful Prima Printery papers?! Love, love! And Michelle has these paper pads IN STOCK and ready for your creative enjoyment. I just love Prima paper... it feels so rich and like I said... luscious hehe!! The stamp collection that I used is the new Bon Jour cling mounted stamp set by JustRite Stampers. I stamped the flourish frame from the collection and cut it out using my Spellbinders Labels 6. The decorative layer underneath is cut out using the Spellbinders Floral Doily Accents Shapeabilities set. The flowers are by Kaisercraft and crystal leaf sprays from my friend Karla's Etsy.

Here are more pics...

For my second card, I used My Minds Eye Lost & Found paper and a few of the new JustRite cling stamp sets available on Stampers Dream: Shabby Chic Labels Four and Greetings from Paris.

The Shabby Chic Labels Four stamp set coordinates nicely with guess what... the Labels 4 Spellbinders Nestabilities set. :-) I love the postcard stamp. it allows you to customize the size of your postcard. :-) The white flower is a Kaiser Craft bloom (you will see the KC blooms on ALL my Stampers Dreams projects just 'cuz I love them so much! hehe!) The red roses are from I Am Roses, green leaves are punched out with a Martha Stewart punch. There's also a little Webster's Pages sparkler peeking out from under the white rose. The butterfly applique is from my scrappy friend Nancy -- I just LOVE it and had to add it in. :-) Bling is from Recollections.

Thank you so much for stopping by to check out my projects today. I'm outtie for now! :-) Have an awesome, awesome weekend!!

hugs! ❤

For this card I used the new Lost & Found BLUSH 6x6 papers My Mind's Eye. LUSCIOUS, let me tell you!  ❤ I love these papers. The stamp set is by JustRite and it's the new Be Strong Clear Stamp set. Perfect for those loved ones who are battling cancer.  The gorgeous Satin pink pleated edging is by Maya Road, as well as the Pink Resin Blossom that is peeping out from the bunch of Kaisercraft blooms. The mini tag is from the 5th Avenue Tag Collection by Melissa Frances. I took some Black Burlap String by May Arts and tied a double bow through the tag hole. The pearl flourishes are by Zva Creative (currently out of stock.)

Fab Friend

Hey everyone and TGIF! Wow, what a crazy week it's been! Not only did my kids start school this week.... add soccer, Tae Kwon Do, homework and a full time job in the mix... and you got ME --- > the crazy busy Arlene. LOL!! But I'm sure many of you that have children can relate to the craziness our children's schedules can bring to our lives... BUT, I wouldn't trade it for the world! I have the best kids ever and I would go to the ends of the earth for each of them. ❤

So onto my Stampers Dream project for this week! I decided to bust out with some oldies but goodies... my Tim Holtz Baroque Alterations die and the forever wonderful Sewing Room Alterations die. I used the new My Minds Eye "A Happy Heart" papers and the sentiment is from the JustRite Forever Friends cling stamp set.

Here are some pics:

The large red rose is a Kaisercraft Paper Bloom that I sprayed with my Lindy Stamp Gang Rudolph's Nose Red Starburst Stain. The small rose buds are from my stash. I created a stick pin using findings from my craft supply and I added a button from the Toy Box collection by Crate Paper. I love the Maya Road Wood Mini spool that I added to the bunch -- it's so cute!!

The bling is by Recollections, but the metal bling layered on top of the sheer brown pleated Maya Road trim is by Webster's Pages.

I die cut the dressform in medium weight chipboard, then colored it up with Ranger Distress Stain in Fired Brick. I edged it in Distress Stain in Vintage Photo. I stamped one of the images from the Habadashery cling stamp set by Tim Holtz. I used some May Arts trim (currently out of stock) around the dressform's hips for her skirt. I added an mulberry rose from my stash. All the edges are finished off by edging them with Ranger Distress Ink in Walnut Stain.

I enjoyed sharing my project with you today. Thank you so much for stopping by and I hope you have an amazingly sweet & crafty weekend!

hugs! ❤

"Congratulations" Wedding card

Hi everyone! ❤ I'm here today with a project for Stampers Dream! I created with purpose and intent today... my husband and I are attending his cousin's wedding this weekend so I knew I had to create something a bit formal.

I started off with some Stampin' Up cardstock from my stash and papers from K&Company (also from my hoarding stash LOL!) I die cut a number of Spellbinders frames and accents available at the Stampers Dream store (Parisian Motifs, Labels 20, Nested Frame custom dies, Nested Sentiment customer dies) and layered on my sentiment from the JustRite Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit. I took some of the Maya Road pleated trim (currently out of stock) and tucked it under the center panel. The back panel are 4 layered squares, laid down so the patterns on the paper alternate.

The flowers are my all time favorite Kaiser Craft paper blooms in coconut, with a mini I Am Roses rose added to the bunch. The crystal leaf stems and butterfly are from my friend Karla's Etsy and the bling are from Crystazzi and Recollections.

I finished off the inside of my card with a sentiment from the same JustRite stamp set, layered onto a frame from the Nested Frame custom die set.

I can't wait to attend the wedding... it's been awhile since we've been to a family wedding since the generations skipped a few years. Now it's time to see our cousins (who were merely kids when me and my husband got married in 2000) get married! ❤

I will be back again tomorrow with another Stampers Dream card share, so see you back here soon!

hugs! ❤

My Friend

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a card for Stamper's Dream.

I picked Lalaland Crafts Marci with Flower Pot for my project today. Isn't she just the most adorable little girl?!  ❤ LOVE ❤ her! I colored her up with my Copic markers, gave her a touch of glitter here and there, fussy cut her and featured her on this card using Prima's Botanical 6x6 papers.

Here are some pics:

Up close...

Here's a list of Stampers Dream products that I used on this card:

Have a super amazing weekend! Thanks for poppin' by!

Happy Birthday Circle Card

Hi everyone! I'm here today with another project for Stampers Dream. ♥

I am still in "circle card" mode and decided to break out with my Prima Reflections papers that I've been hoarding (LOL!) and Grand Circle & Circle Scallop Spellbinders dies. I dry embossed one of the circle layers using my Swirls Texture Fade and distressed it with Ranger Distress ink in Walnut Stain. The sentiment is from the Happy Everything Mini Tag Kit by JustRite and is cut out using the coordinating Spellbinders dies, then layered onto a decorative sentiment frame from the Nested Sentiment Custom Dies by Spellbinders. The larger decorative frames were cut out using Spellbinders Labels 20.

The gorgeous ribbon is by May Arts (Brown Sheer Wrinkled Edge Ribbon) and the flower nested over it is a Kaiser Paper Bloom painted with Lindy Stamp Gang Starburst Sprays in Rudolph's Nose Red. The two smaller roses by I Am Roses are also painted with Starburst Sprays and I added some crystal clear sprays from my friend Karla to accent the bunch. The bling is by Zva Creative and Recollections and the rhinestones on the sentiment are by Crystazzi.

Here's a close up...

Be sure to visit Stampers Dream as new products are being added to the store every week! Keep your eyes peeled for summer CHA goodies too... coming soon!

Thanks so much for stopping by!

hugs!

Happy Birthday card

Hi everyone! I'm here today with a new card creation for Stampers Dream. I'm just going to jump right into it...

I created this card using Basic Grey's Wander papers and the JustRite Forever Friends Cling Stamp set. I took some brown cardstock and dry embossed it with one of my Tim Holtz texture fades. I love a card with lots of texture and interest (can you tell?) LOL!

I am officially addicted to the Kaisercraft Paper Blooms in the Honey color. These are my favs next to the Fairy Floss color! I added two of them accompanied by a single 1/2 inch white rose from I Am Roses. I added a light green Webster's Pages Sparkler to add a little bit of glam and accented the bunch with some leaves punched out with my Martha Stewart punch. And do you spy that luscious May Arts Brown Crochet/Velvet ribbon? This is my first time using it and it is just beautiful!

a close up...

The sentiment is cut out using Spellbinders Labels Five and I used the flourish from the Fleur de Lis Doily Motifs set to frame the sentiment. I popped on two Crystazzi crystals on the flourishes and edged all the pieces with Ranger Distress Ink in Walnut Stain to finish it off.

Thanks for stopping by my blog today. I have a ton of projects coming your way soon, so be sure to check back. ♡

Have a great weekend!
